shamad27 is the author of two books on Wattpad, one in non-fiction and another in poetry. The author's poetry book Sentience placed 1st in The Blooming Awards 2017.

Each poem that was written absolutely stole all the judges hearts with the sheer beauty it contained. No one can demy they outstanding amount of imagination the author has.

Below is the author's interview telling us more about the poems.

What was it like winning 1st place?

I was super excited! Its been ages since I started writing poetry and I rarely had reads and comments. Now that my book is getting recognised I am really grateful for all those who helped me become what I am right now as a poet and a person.

What made you decide to start writing poetry?

I never had anyone to share what I felt with. So I just started jotting down what I felt. Then I thought about arranging them in phrases and stanzas and volia! I had written my first poem

What's the hardest part of writing poems?

The hardest part is actually focusing on what you think at the moment. You need to focus in order to get a repetitive scheme.

If you had to describe yourself as an author in three words what would those three words be?

Depressing poet. Nothing more xD

Any favorite comments on your works?

All the comments have equally helped me boost my confidence and improve. So there is no favourite as such. I'm really grateful to those who have been with me from the start.

What made you join Wattpad?

I was in search of a website where I could publish my poems for free. I googled and landed up in Wattpad 3 years ago.

What are your favorite book genres?

Romance, Teen Fiction, Paranormal, Werewolf
