Dominick looks down at Vlad as he gets face to face with him. "Hello bloodsucker." He spits back.
Vlad's face twists into a sly sneer. "I can't wait to put them down like the dogs they are. He says looking around at our pack. "Then after they're all dead, I'm going to take pleasure in killing you while the Luna watches." He says with a sinister laugh.
Dominick growls. "Are you done talking or can we get this over with so I can watch you turn into a pile of ash like the dirt you are?" Dominick says as he slips off his shorts and tosses them on the ground, standing there completely naked.
I would be so turned on right now if I wasn't so terrified.

Vlad nods at his clan and they charge the pack as Dominick shifts into Apollo. My heart is hammering in my chest as I watch them battle each other. Vinnie jumps out the SUV and shifts as he joins the fight. Beta has one vampire by the throat as he rips his head off, turning him into dust. Vanessa has five vampires circling around her. They start attacking one after the other trying to slash with their nails. She manages to grab one vampire with her mouth and shakes him like a rag doll before tossing him but another one sneaks up behind her and slashed her hamstring making her fall to the ground. The other three vampires triple team her, getting an advantage as they cut open her side as she yelps. Just as they were going to strike again, Gamma tackles one to the ground and rips his head off and then he finishes the other three.

I look for Vlad and he's standing off to the side just observing the battle. Then I hear a blood-curdling yelp as my eyes find one of the pack members named Henry trying to get a vampire off his back as his fangs are sunk deep into his neck.
Apollo go help Henry! I mind-link.
Apollo jumps over Henry as he digs his teeth into the vampire's arm ripping it off. The vampire let's go and wails a screech so loudly, it pierces through our ears making the pack howl. After the vampire tumbles to the ground. Apollo hovers over him and starts tearing off the rest of his limbs until he finally rips his head off. The battlefield is covered with nothing but blood and ash as the last few vampires hurdled together and the pack stand together to attack. As the pack begins to run, they become completely frozen. My eye glance back at Vlad and there's someone beside him with their head covered up with a black hood. They have their hand pointed out toward the pack.

Ivy, is that a witch?
*Yes, but it's not just any witch, It's a dark witch.*
I can feel myself start to panic and sweat beads on my forehead.
Vlad walks over to the pack and stands in front of Apollo.
My hearts sinks in my stomach as I'm watching.
"I underestimated your pack so I had to call my witch to help since you've killed all my clan except for these four." He says as he nods to them. "Shift Alpha or I will make my witch shift you for me and I will make sure it's long and excruciating." He smirks.
Apollo shifts back to Dominick as the witch tosses him his shorts. Dominick slips his shorts back on and tries to attack Vlad but the three vampires grab him from behind.
"I don't want to kill you. Not yet anyways. I want to watch my right-hand Damian torture you until you're begging for mercy." He says wickedly.

Dominick spits on the ground in front of Vlad. "I will never beg for my life."
Vlad looks at him with disgust. "Begin and don't stop." He says to his Damian.
Damian begins punching Dominick in the face like he's a punching bag. I can see the blood spluttering out of his mouth.
He then begins punching his ribcage and I can hear the bones cracking from over here.
The pack can't move but they are all howling as they watch their Alpha get beaten.

Ivy I can't just sit here! If I go out there, I can't shift or protect my babies. I have to do something! They're going to kill him!
*Go out there Ari. I will protect the pups. Focus on Dominick, nobody else. When you get to Damian, bite him with every ounce of strength you have.*
Bite him? I'm not in wolf form though.
*Trust me Ari, just do it.*
I take a deep breath as I open the door and step out. I start running toward Damian as he continues to beat Dominick but I keep my eyes on him.

"Stop her Astoria but don't hurt her or the babies." I can hear Vlad say to the dark witch but I keep looking at Dominick.
I can feel something coursing through my body but it leaves almost instantly.
"Impossible!" Astoria says shocked. "My powers don't effect her!"
I run behind Damian lock my jaws around his neck, biting down as hard as I possibly can.
About two seconds later, Damian goes completely limb as he crumbles into ash before me.

"I'll be back to collect what's mine." Vlad says. As I turn around to go after him, he and Astoria poof into thin air.
The pack unfreezes from the spell and tears apart the last three vampires before they have a chance to vanish.
I run up to Dominick and cradle his face. "I'm so sorry love!" I say as tears fall down my face.
He places his hand on my cheek. "You have nothing to be sorry for Meu amor. You saved me." He says through pauses.
"I need to get you to the pack hospital." I say as I try to lift him up but he groans loudly from the broken ribs.

I lay him back down and run to the SUV and grab two pair of my dad's shorts. I look to the backseat and I can hear my dad groaning lowly. I run quickly back to Dominick as I place the shorts in front of Mike and Alex. "Shift back so you can help me carry him to the truck."
A few seconds later, they both lift Dominick and carry him to the SUV.
As I open the back door, my dad is fully awake.
"What happened?" He panics helping pull Dominick in the seat.
Mike jumps in the driver seat as I climb in the passenger side. I look at Alex waiting on him to get in.
"Go ahead, I got to carry Vanessa back to the pack house. I'll meet you there." He says as we start speeding toward the pack house.

"What happened Ariana?" My dad asked again.
"Vlad knocked you out, they started a war between us and Vlad's right hand Damian beat Dominick to a pulp as a witch froze the pack and they couldn't help, so I killed Damian." I say trying to summarize.
Mike looks at me like he seen a ghost and says "The question is we should be asking is what the hell did you do to Damian?"

We finally make it to the pack hospital. I already mind-linked Doctor Ramirez so she has a stretcher waiting for us when we get there. They put Dominick on the stretcher and rush him to the pack hospital.

I grab my dad's hand making him come to the hospital too. "You need to be checked too." I say.
"I'm fine sweetie, it's just a knot." He says dismissing my concern as he sits down in the waiting room.
"You're getting checked dad when they're finished with Dominick so don't try to leave." I say sternly, giving him a kiss on his cheek.

About twenty minutes later, they tell me I can see Dominick. I walk into the room and gasp softly.
He looks so bad, he's got bloody bruises everywhere.
I walk over and grab his hand as tears swell up in my eyes again.
"I'm fine baby, don't cry." He whispers as he kisses my hand.

Doctor Ramirez comes into the room.
"Good evening Luna. Alpha told me about what happened. Thank the Spirit you were there because a few more punch to the ribs would probably have killed him." She continues. "We did an X-ray on his ribs and face. Good news is he has no broken bones in his face so he'll just be bruised a few days but bad news is, he has 3 fractured ribs so he will have to rest for three weeks. He will start feeling better around two weeks, but try to stay away from strenuous activities."

"What kind of strenuous activities?" I ask.
"No heavy lighting, no sparring, really nothing that will put pressure on your ribs." She says looking at Dominick.
"So we can still have sex?" He asked quickly.
I cover my face with embarrassment.
"No I'm sorry but no sex until you're completely healed. Too much moving could make things worse." She says laughing.
"What if she does all the work, and I just lie there?" He asked not liking that answer.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Don't worry there will be no sexual activities happening." I say red-faced.
"You should of just let me died then." He says pouting as I give him the death stare.

Doctor Ramirez chuckles. "Ok. Well you can go, take thing slow and make sure you do deep breathing exercising for your lungs. I have some pain medication for you, take it every twelve hours."
She looks at me "I know we missed your last four week appointment due to your wedding so I'd like it if you could come in sooner than your fifth month checkup. I know you just got back from your honeymoon and school starts back this week so tell me when would be best for you Luna." She states.

"I'm actually thinking of having a birthday party for Vanessa next Friday so can I come in Saturday?" I ask.
"Of course! You will be nineteenth weeks then so we can still do the 4D ultrasound." She smiles.
"Thank you Doctor Ramirez. I would like it if you could check my dad out too. He got slammed against the window from Vlad and I just want to make sure he's ok." I say
"Of course Luna, I will check him out and send him on his way." She smiles.

We walk up to the bedroom and I help Dominick lay on the bed.
"I've been thinking babe, how about we make a guest house outside the pack house for our parents? That way they have their own space and that gives us an extra room up here if I ever invite Josh over to stay the night." I smile.
I nods. "Ok meu amor, I will call a contractor tomorrow and get that started. It shouldn't take more than two weeks to finish."
I kiss him on the lips. "Thank you babe. Now you rest and watch some tv, I'm going to go back to the hospital and check on Vanessa and Isabel so I can meet my new nephew!" I say excitedly as I rush out the door.

I check on Vanessa first. She smiles when she sees me. "Hey Nessa, how are you feeling?"
"Like shit! They had to stitch my side up and they said that my hamstring will heal in a few weeks so I have to use crutches to get around." She says as guilt swallows me.
"I'm so sorry. It's my fault you're in here." I say as a tear slides down my cheek.
She grabs my hand "It's ok, you are my Luna, I love you. You would do the same for me." She smiles. "Plus I got be carried all the way here by that sexy Gamma. If I knew getting beaten by some vampires was all it took for him to show me some affection, I'd let the guys beat me at sparring." She laughs.
"Well at least you have a positive outlook on it." I laugh.

"Where is Alex now?" I ask.
"Probably humping that slut Daniella." She says disgusted. "I can't wait until I turn eighteen next Friday."
"How about I throw you a birthday party? it can even be a pool party since it's finally getting hot now." I say trying to cheer her up.
She smiles "Really? I don't want to burden you Luna."
I put my hands on my hips as I roll my eyes. "Nessa, you don't have to call me Luna. We were best friends before I became Luna and you'd never be a burden to me so is that a yes?"
She grins happily. "That's a hell yes!"

I laugh. "Ok then, invite all your friends but do you mind if I invite Josh?" I ask.
"Of course. I like Josh." She says. "He's hot, if I wasn't so into Gamma, I'd take him for a ride." She smirks bouncing her eyes.
"Oh my gosh Nessa!" I laugh loudly. "I'll even invite Alex too."
She gasps. "Really! What if he has plans or something?"
I shrug. "I'm the Luna, I'll make him come. He can't say no to me." I say winking at her. "I got to go see Isabel but mind-link me if you need me. Love you!" I say as I leave the room.

As I walk to Isabel's room, I call Josh and invite him to Vanessa's party, which of course he said yes. I open Isabel's room and she's holding Thiago and Mike is sitting in the chair watching tv.
"Awww he's so precious!" I say softly as I walk over to Isabel.
"I'm sorry I'm just now coming. It's been so crazy since I got back." I say smiling.
She shakes her head. "It's no problem, I heard about everything. Would you like to hold him?" She asked.
I nod as she hands me Thiago.
Mike look at me. "Me and Isabel were talking and we would love it if you were Thiago's Godmother."
I look at him and Isabel grinning. "Really? I'd be honored!" I say as I look down at Thiago.
"Hello Thiago, it's Auntie Ari. You are so perfect. You are going to have the best time growing up your cousins Ava and Javian." I say whispering to him as I rock him in my arms.

Mike looks back at me. "After we got back here, I went to the Elders and asked them about what you did to Damian. They said that was part of your powers. That's why your wolf is named Ivy.

You have a poisonous bite, it will kill anybody instantly."
