Aife POV

It has been days since our note taking we would normally be doing another by now what the hell is going on Tesha never said anything about test being slow, and they would usually tell us everything which is making me more worried about what is going to happen in the future to my friends but I can't make any assumptions until I have evidence.

"Eva do you know were Tesha is?" I asked our second in command who was sitting in at her desk in our classroom "No I don't know where Tesha is they were took out of the bedroom before any of you woke up" she answered, I nodded not knowing what to say so I just got on with my work which was learning about something called the maze trails and we where told that it was for the good of the people but from the looks of it I don't really the good. I looked around the classroom to see my friends all looking at there papers and writing I didn't write much because I was think of a way to see more into the room.

The teacher notice that I was not writing so they said "Aife why are you not doing  your work?" I looked at the teacher not saying anything at first because I need to think of what to say, "because what I am reading dose not look good who puts a bunch of teens into a maze for three bloody years" I say with my British side coming in, everyone looks at me with faces that could say 'what the hell are you doing'  the teacher came up to my desk to say "Aife if you do not do your work you will go to the Chancellor and I am sure you do not want that" I looked at the teacher and said " I don't care anymore this maze trials stuff is completely bullshit".

The teacher and my friends looked at me and in shock in what I had just said and I knew I would be sent to the Chancellor for my behaviour, "ok Aife to the Chancellor office now" the teacher said trying to say calm so I just left so the teacher did not get more angry.        

In the Chancellor's office.

"So Aife I heard that you have been a bit of trouble in your class why where you not doing your work?" she asked I looked at her before saying anything, then I said "I have been realising things about this place and I am not sure I believe this place is good any more" the Chancellor looks at me with a small smile. "Aife I do hope you realise that we are nothing like those people and will never be like them" she said in a quite tone but I never believed her, so I just looked at her giving her a death stair she smiled. Then she said with that smile still on her face "Aife if you do not go back to work you will go into isolation room" I smiled and said, "ok I will what ever you want" then I left so I could say anything I might regret.

Walking back to the dorms I looked down hall C and saw no one down there which was strange so I decided to walk down there, as I was walking down the hall I was hearing nothing and I was getting very freaked out but I was trying not to let it show then I noticed that I was getting close to room 250. Then the screaming started I froze there listing to the screaming then I realised the only reason that anyone would be screaming because they would have the ......... flare I ran as fast as I could to my room.

In the subjects room. 

Third POV

As Aife ran in the room everyone was just relaxing "guys ..... there is something not right in the hall C" she says and everyone looks at her like she has gone crazy "what do you mean Aife?" Eva ask her closest friend, "I was walking down the hall at first it was quiet then ..... someone started to scream and do you remember the only reason why someone would be screaming in this place?" Aife says now calming down. "The would have the..... flare but we are protected why would anyone have the flare if we are fine here" Eva says to her friend who did not answer then Amethyst says, "what if the brought in someone who is infected and that is the reason we are not aloud down there" everyone looks at her "but who their was no one left from that time everyone is either dead or infected" Apollo saying putting in his bit to the conversation.

"No during there sweep of the city they found someone lying down with something sticking out of there chest, but mostly they were from the maze trials that W.C.K.D conducted" Ansel says give us more info that they all glossed over. The group all looked at each other not saying anything "how long did the flare virus rage for?" Cayden asked bring more thinking time, "it said since it came up to when the people called the Gladers got away but it is still around but weak" Tesha said Aife did not even notice that they were back. "Ok but its weak so how is this person still going strong with it?" Eva asked now looking at Tesha who is now standing in the corner of the room, "maybe he came from the worst of it" Tesha said and now everyone looking at them "I never said anything about the person being a he or even a she so how would you know there gender?" Aife asked now straight up looking at Tesha.

"It was a guess" Tesha says also now looking at Aife "ok but where you Tesha I noticed that you were gone the morning?....... you have never done that before" Aife says now wanting to know where her leader went "what the hell are you saying Aife ....... that I am sneaking around and working for the dead origination?" Tesha asked Aife who was now looking at her leader who she was not sure to trust anymore.

Aife's POV 

As me and Tesha were looking at each other Eva walked up to us and said "ok how about we deal with this tomorrow so we can keep our heads on," I look at her then look at Tesha again and say "fine but Tesha I don't know how to trust you again but you better find a way to make me trust you again" I walk to my bed I start think about how the lab I have grew up in and W.C.K.D  are nearly very similar but they couldn't be. I got on top of my bed in the bunk me and Eva share I look upon my friends seeing them get into there own beds to end the day but all I could think about was the screaming person and who they are.
