“You need to ignite your powers, Jin. Taehyung will never be able to control himself without you,”
Jin wasted no time in flying toward him fluttering his huge white wings and grabbed his hand quickly like before. Taehyung just huffed out heavily looking here and there, struggling to get out of Jin's hold.
A desperate cry left Jin's heart looking at him and he grabbed Taehyung's shoulder with another hand, turning him toward himself, “Taehyung! Get a hold of yourself!” he shouted, shaking his figure vigorously to snap him out of it.
He wanted to stop him before he'll lose himself. Taehyung never practised using those powers, to control them, never did he ever felt them at such a peak, “You wanted my help, right? But how will I help you if you behave like this! Snap out of it, idiot!”
“You called me brother, Tae! Please, get a hold of yourself!” he held his hands even more tightly feeling Taehyung's trembling figure calming down. The vampires shrieked getting ready to attack again and Jin shuddered at the scene of so many blood-soaked fangs glinting at them.
“I-I'm okay . . . and I'm s-sorry,” Taehyung apologized panting heavily.
“It's okay,” the older rubbed his shoulders embracing him into his arms and Taehyung nodded in the crook of his neck. They snapped their head back this time with their hands intertwined, a smile of satisfaction and pride showering over their features once again.

Luther huffed out heavily staring at Jungkook with eyes brimming with resentment, he seemed to be more tired than Jungkook was. Jungkook wiped the blood at the corner of his lips, glancing at Luther who smirked in return at him.
“Your blood seems tasty,” he ran his tongue over his fangs and Jungkook chuckled.
Jungkook, “Bet you're never having it,”
Luther, “Oh, I will,”
“You need to stay alive for that,” Jungkook sneered before transforming and leaping toward him.
His movement was too quick for Luther to decipher, giving him no time to transform and Jungkook was already hovering over while he was on the ground. He started punching him on his face with all of his force, giving him no time to even breathe, blood spilling out of his mouth.
Jungkook, “And there's no way I'm letting you live,” he huffed punching him again.
Suddenly, Luther shapeshifted into his giant bat form, flying out of his grip but before he could fly away, Jungkook transformed and jumped, grabbing his ankle. He pulled him back down by his leg and smashed him onto the blood-soaked snow. He dug his claws deeper into his throat and blood spurted out.
He had enough fun with him and now it was time to end this final battle and show him who's the superior. Luther growled feeling something digging inside the flesh of his neck. Jungkook bit harder, tearing his flesh away from his neck, blood staining his teeth tasting metallic on his tongue.
He bit once again and ripped his neck apart. Luther shuddered feeling life being sucked out of him, for a moment Jungkook saw regret passing through the frame of his features. And then there was no more, no more Luther, no more of the dreadful nights.
He got back on his feet wiping the blood off his mouth and stood away from him, He wasn't in the mood to stare at his high cheekbones and charming face, for him everything about him felt mischievous and greedy.
The dark clouds over their head parted and he saw the sun rays seeping out. The left out vampires shrieked painfully feeling their pale skin burning.
“You can't hammer yourself with hatred and build a life of happiness,” Jungkook said looking at Luther's burning corpse, “And holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die,”
“Hatred, Jealousy and Anger never gave anyone any good, just like you,” he added, a sigh escaping his lips. He was right. Life is an echo, what you send out; comes back, what you sow; you reap, what you give; you get. And there was no way Luther could get away from it.
He had hurt so many people, killed them for fun, destroyed so many lives just because he wanted power, ruined the life of a woman in his obsession. He was blind in greed, in the need of power, in the need for superiority. He didn't realise that he was pushing himself into a pit; he could never get out of.
People say don't fight someone who doesn't have anything to lose because he can go to any extent without caring about anyone but himself. However, it should be that don't fight someone who has a lot to lose. He has so many reasons to not give up and he'll go through anything for them.
The people praying for him, supporting them, giving them blessings, all that power along with their love is enough motivation for him and give his best.
Luther had earned so many curses from people he hurt and he thought he would live happily ever after? Karma never leaves you, you're meant to get back what you did. And he finally got it, the punishment for his sins.
Jungkook sighed, thanking the moon goddess when his eyes fell on the bracelet tied around his wrist. A smile appeared on his face in no time and he kissed the sapphire embedded in the platinum chain.
“Thank you for staying with me,” he murmured to himself, stroking it gently and stepped away from the cliff proceeding to check on the others if anyone needed help. But his steps froze when his eyes met a sight he was never prepared for. His heart dropped and his stomach churned with horror.
“How can I forget about him?” he couldn't process what to do, his mind felt like it was jammed. The scene in front of him was the last thing he ever wanted to witness.
He saw Yeonjun's skin burning in sunlight, small fragments of his skin peeling off and the boy he saw that day on the tree stood in front of him, going through the same. He could see they were still talking about something while he was trying to figure out what he should do when something strike him.
“Shade . . . I need to get him under a shady place,” he stammered and ran toward them. He couldn't let him die like this, no matter what or who he was at the moment; be a werewolf or a vampire, he was his brother first and he had to save him.
He even had so many unanswered questions. He was yet to tell him that Martha was alive, he didn't betray him, he didn't betray her love, she was alive. And Martha? What would he answer her? That he let him die? He let her one and only son die and didn't do a thing to save him?

Yeonjun reached the edge of the cliff, Minho following behind him. He turned around, looking at Minho and was about to say something unexpected happened.
The dark clouds over their head went away and a clear sky came into sight, the sunlight seeping into their pores once again. It started burning their skin and flame-like currents went through their bodies, they saw the other vampires burning and turning into ashes one by one.
“Guess it's the end,” Yeonjun smiled sadly at Minho who was rubbing his skin out of burning pain.
“No, let's go under some shade, we still have time,” the older suggested, holding Yeonjun's hand but he didn't budge.
“No, Minho! Please . . . I've nothing left, my parents are already dead, I won't be able to live without them. Even if I go back, I won't be able to accept the reality which I've to live in . . . it's hard, so hard,” a sob was heard and when he looked up, Minho could see tears streaming down his face, a never-ending pit of pain visible in his chocolate-brown orbs.
“Let me die in peace at least . . . please,” he begged, holding onto Minho's hand. More tears flooded down his eyes just at the thought of living without his mother, it seemed impossible to him. He was ready to die so that at least he'll meet her up there.
Minho's heart felt a pang and it felt like someone was clenching it so tightly when he saw Yeonjun crying. He was right, living without parents is no less than hell. And who would know it better than Minho, himself? All these years, he had spent without his mother didn't even feel alive to him, he was like living dead.
He didn't realise when his eyes teared up and he started crying, he came out of his thoughts and wiped Yeonjun's tears, gripping his hand tighter.
Minho, “Let's do it together then. The hell you're scared to live in is what I've seen all these years. Now, I guess, I want some peace too . . . I want to meet her as well,” a sad chuckle leaving his mouth.
Yeonjun, “But—”
“Please . . . I can't do this anymore. If you left there's no one left for me here anyways,” his voice spoke vulnerability and pain.
Yeonjun didn't say anything after that, instead held his hand tighter and started stepping back, nearing the edge of the cliff more and more.
“Freedom,” the same last word escaped their mouth when they took their last steps and the earth beneath them faded.
“Yeonjun!!!” Jungkook reached for him but never got the chance to hold him. A tear escaped the guard of his eyes realising he would never be able to hold him ever again.

A sigh of relief escaped the mouth of the person who stood far away from the Rogueward on top of a small mountain from where he could see everything clearly. The ground of Rogueward was once again stained with blood, dead bodies lying here and there, black ashes of dead vampires flying away with the wind.
He witnessed everything with his eyes, every single moment from mocking start till the satisfactory end of Luther. He saw him turning into ashes. The happiness which he felt at that moment was something he couldn't describe. He finally got what he deserved; his punishment.
“Guess, it's time to get back what was mine,” he pulled the hood of his cape back and turned around leaving the dreadful earth of Rougeward behind.

BLACKROSE PACK
Luna Jeon sat beside Alpha Jeon who laid on the bed, still in his unconscious state. She was talking to Luna Kim about how it all happened with him. Suddenly, a loud gasp was heard and they turned to see Alpha Jeon opening his eyes. He coughed harshly and Luna Jeon's eyes teared up in a moment.
“Honey!” tears fell from her eyes and she helped him sit straight. The others rushed toward them and Luna Kim quickly passed her a glass of water. Luna Jeon helped him stay in place and drink the water.
She cried embracing him, giving him all her warmth and feeling his warmth herself, the amount of tears that left her eyes didn't feel enough to her. It finally felt like everything was getting back to being alright.
Not just her mate waking up, but there was this heavy feeling in her heart which felt light now. Everyone's eyes were glistening with tears as well after seeing their Alpha finally awake after so long.
Jihyun ran toward them and hugged her father from behind, “Father!” she sobbed. Alpha Jeon felt like he was given a second life, feeling the warmth of his mate and daughter once again was what he prayed all along.

MIDNIGHT MARK CASTLE
Victory. Success. Something which everyone loves, don't they? But do you always have to play on the front foot for that? Always show our presence to the opponent? No, sometimes playing silently and letting no one know that you're even in the frame is one of the biggest and smartest strategies.
Not everybody likes fighting, scars on their face, dirty clothes or bloody wounds, right? They prefer their peace of mind over that, they have their own ways. Everyone has their holy grail, their success, and it is a unique thing.
So, there he stood, having won his peace without even placing his foot on the battlefield. This was the time of his final victory, getting back his most beloved possession, something which belonged to him and only him.
Baekhyun pulled his hood down, his messy midnight black hair and chocolate brown eyes coming into view. A scoff left his mouth when he scanned the dead silent surroundings.
He kicked the main doors open, entering into that dead-filthy vampire's castle. The candles he saw burning last time were blown out and the whole castle looked dead.
“Wow, even the castle feels dead. Tsk tsk, poor Luther, lost everything,” he tsked and continued to walk further.
Soon he was in the throne room and just when his eyes fell on that throne, his fists clenched, veins popping out and he felt his blood boiling. All the memories of that day when his beloved possession; his crystal was snatched away from him and touched by that ugly creature came crashing down to him.
He hated him, he hated the sight of his crystal in Luther's hands. He felt like cutting off his arms and feed them to the stray animals. He pledged that day that he'll come back to get his crystal back and this was what he was here for today.
He could feel it; he could feel the crystal's presence. He closed his eyes, focusing on the crystal to get to know its location and when he opened them again, they turned green elliptical replacing the once brown ones.
A smirk crept onto his lips and he made his way to the staircase which went to the dungeon where he was locked before. He went there down and saw a door which was locked because he knew the other one led to the dungeon. He tried opening it but couldn't.
“So, there you're,” he said to himself before accumulating his powers and breaking the door. There was no Luther to ward that place anymore after all.
He laughed when the door fell on the floor with a loud thud. He walked inside that room where he saw what he had been longing for.
There was his green crystal placed over a small piller. He went closer and felt the urge to touch it but it looked dull, it didn't glow even in his presence. He was confused because the crystal recognises its owner.
“How even—” his words died at the back of his throat when he reminsced his father's words.
