AUTHOR'S POV

Yibo sighed looking at the tray of food in his hands while walking towards
Y/N's room. It's been a whole day but Y/N didn't come out of her room.

Others got worried about the princess but Luna handled the situation and told Yibo to feed her in her room only since she knows about her condition. She also gave some medicines, since her body will be weaker than before.

"I just want my old best friend, the Y/N I used to know back." Yibo sadly smiled taking some more steps and finally reaching in front of her door.

The guards bowed their heads to him before opening the door as he entered inside. Closing the door behind his back he looked around the room but Y/N wasn't there.

He turned around and the moment his eyes landed on the balcony his heart skipped so many beats...

"Y-Y/N!" Yibo stuttered calling her name as his body felt numb looking at the scene in front of him. His grip on the tray loosened and the food scattered on the ground with a loud shattering sound.

The balcony was right above the huge pool in front of the palace, Yibo's eyes were wide open looking at Y/N who was standing on the fence while clenching onto her gown.

"Y/N what are you d-doing?" Yibo asked slowly moving towards her. Her back was facing him and looking at how she was looking straight into nothing.

Yibo's heart accelerated. He stepped forward while his Adam's apple bobbed up and down evident of the terrific situation he was in.

"Y/N that isn't a thing to joke about please get back down!" Yibo couldn't believe his eyes. He didn't want to anyway. He never saw something like that even in his worst nightmares.

He didn't remember being that scared in his life. And that was just the beginning. That idea only made it worse. If that was even possible.

He moved forward to grab her wrist to get her back in a safe place afraid if his imagination will get a chance to become a reality.

But before that, she stepped forward...

The only thing that came audible for him was a sound of a loud splash and he heard some maids shouting about what happened.

"No! No no." Yibo shook his head vigorously while he ran outside with stumbling steps. But his steps came to a halt when he realised it's gonna take a lot of time.

Not even thinking twice he climbed up the grills and changed into his wolf form and jumped down.

Reaching the surface he changed into his human form, the site was blurry from all that water but he swam inside looking here and there to find her.

JUNGKOOK'S POV

I was standing in the backyard looking near the chessboard. While others were talking, I was absorbed in myself. I was looking at it reminding those incidents from yesterday night.

"Ahh!" A sudden pain emerged in my chest, and my heart felt like clenching inside. It felt like someone stole the soul of my body, it was hurting, hurting a lot and I felt so weak. Clenching at my heart with my hand I dropped onto my knees.

"Jungkook, what happened?" Jimin hyung came running to me and tried to support me up.

It felt like suffocating inside, and my powerful outing broke, my eyes filled up with tears, and it was getting hard to breathe. I tried getting up but my body wasn't supporting me. For the first time I heard frost crying inside, he was in pain and the same goes for me.

What happened suddenly?

"Jungkook? You okay?" I saw Jin hyung came to me rubbing my back while I was gasping for air. Suddenly it felt like I was locked in a box and there was no air for me to breathe in.

"Mr. Chou, call Mr. Chou...fast." I heard Hwasa noona yelling for Mr. Chou and the world started spinning around for me, my lids felt heavy.

I tried hard to get myself together but it was hurting like hell as if someone was sucking the life out of me.

"Y-Y/N..." These were the last words I heard from Frost before everything blacked out.

AUTHOR'S POV

Yibo grabbed her little figure and came outside, just to meet the worried and scared faces of others, "Moonbyul Noona! A warm blanket fast!"

The weather was chilly than before, the winter was on the door and he was holding Y/N who was as pale as chalk right now.

"Y/N wake up! Open your eyes!" Yibo shouted, breathing heavily himself. He patted her cheeks trying to wake her up, but there was no reaction.

"Leave the space!" Yibo yelled and the servants took few steps back, he was scared to death himself. With his each and every breathe he was just praying one thing.

"Please Y/N be alright and open your eyes!"

Yibo laid her down, and with the count of three started pressing on her chest, to let the water in her lungs be out. The only thing he ever wanted was for her to open her eyes.

She coughed out water as she started gasping for air.

"Y/N!" Yibo cried hugging her fragile figure. Y/N was breathing heavily and struggled to stabilize her vision.

As soon as Y/N woke up Jungkook jolted up from his bed, gasping the same way as Y/N did. His mind went calm realising he was just in his room. He inhaled deeply, the pain wasn't there anymore, there was a relaxation in his mind.

"Kookie, my son! You okay?" Luna asked with tears in her eyes, there were dried tears on her cheeks as if she was crying for a long time. She hugged him while kissing his whole face.

And she cried even more hugging him, she was broken. Looking at his son's state a while ago she was scared, scared to lose anyone, anymore.

And Jungkook sat there engulfed in her mom's arms trying to decipher what just happened, his mind was restless. Just a moment ago he was this close to death, and that wasn't the thing that scared him, the thing that scared him was that he knew it was Y/N who was in pain.

And how much suffocating it was for him horrified him even more, The Prince felt fear for the first time.

The fear of losing someone...

He was scared, about something very bad happening to her.

To his mate, To Y/N...

As soon as Y/N's mind realised what she did, what just happened tears came like a bolt of thunder in the sky.

She looked around Luna's scared face by her side and then his brothers sitting right in front of her, tears in everyone's eyes. And then Yibo who wasn't ready to let go of her he hugged her like he was scared, this was the worst nightmare of his life as if it was a nightmare.

He cried looking at Y/N's broken figure, she was wailing in his arms. And the only thing he was able to do was to try consoling her, "Y/N what happened, why the hell you even dared to do such a thing?"

Yibo sobbed but his eyes were more of a disappointment, he looked up to her, he admired her, and followed by his questions she wailed out even more.

"I don't know, There's nothing on my mind! How did I even end up here, there's nothing I did...I-I-I'm sorry..." Y/N mumbled between her cries and her voice cracked even more.

"I'm such a disgrace..."

In every beat of his heart, her soul lived...

Circumstances were unfavorable...

Seance was incomplete...

Hope was crushed...

But not the one in her heart...

Some questions were still unanswered...

She wanted to know the crime of this unknown punishment she was bearing...

She wanted to ask her fate the reason for this poor condition of her...

But I guess fate wasn't ready...

Only God knows how many plans were still left unsettled in their story...
