LUNA'S POV

Happy is what I feel when Alpha Jeon walks in the door when I know for the rest of the evening he's all mine. It's not that he's fireworks and chatter, mostly he's so quiet, unwinding after a busy day.

Just being near him lights me up inside, gives me a serenity I can never know without him being close to me. It's like the breaths I take aren't full when he's away, like the smiles I smile are incomplete somehow.

Just lying next to him is my favorite place in the world. It's him that creates the warmth in my soul, him that fills me full of love and keeps the fire burning in my eyes.

If that isn't happiness I don't know what is, so I'll let it be my own definition, the one I keep with me always.

Only the thought of giving him this news of happiness which he craved for so long is making my heart thump with excitement.

I can imagine the shock that's gonna be plastered on his face. I was unable to stop smiling as he made his steps towards me.

"So happy hmm?" He questioned caressing my head.

Every emotion of happiness, care, love & blessing filled up my heart like no tomorrow. Every thought gives way to a new one. That's how I was unable to restrain myself anymore, unable to wait anymore.

If you were to make a necklace of beads you'd choose the prettiest for your string, and such is life also. And for my family, I'll choose the best so that the strings stay attached forever.

Make your moments happy so that they come together to form something wonderful and unique that is your time under the sun.

"Uhmmm...very...very...HAPPY!" I chimed as I raised my hand indicating the amount of happiness I'm feeling. He chuckled at my childish behavior.

But who's gonna tell him, this is my last chance to be childish?

Oopss...wait I'll tell him.

"And what's the reason of thisssss much happiness?" He asked.

I raised my hand caressing my belly as he looked at me questionably, "Honey! You're going to be a father soon."

His eyes widened in shock making me grin even more, "You serious?" He scooted near me placing his ear on my belly.

Oh my god, he really thinks he can hear them now? I can't even imagine this baby having a baby!

I slapped his forehead, on which he hissed looking at me with a pout, "What was that for?"

"Stupid! They're too small for you to feel." I answered and he scratched his head in embarrassment.

I can't wait for the moment I'll be holding our baby in our hands. He's gonna be kind, soft, and loving yet powerful and justice lover like him.

Right?

2 MONTHS LATER

I looked down to my stomach, which was now expanded out to prove that another being resided within me.

Two heartbeats within one stout body. My back ached as my entire weight relied upon it. And sometimes it feels it's too heavy to carry.

I looked down at the stretched skin with red veins like tendrils seeping across the sides, reminding me of an eyeball. Soft white skin, red lines drawn along it.

It's really tiring now, I wanted the baby out of me, into my arms.

I hated this state of silent lethargy, this waiting, I felt trapped. I wanted to zoom to early next year, to the birth.

"Luna are you hungry?" Jin came running towards me with a plate of apple in his hands.

That little baby seriously always stays by my side, not only him but all of these cute babies. It's like they're way more excited than me for their little brother/sister.

"No dear I'm okay, you eat." Oops, I forgot my No is never a No for them. I saw him taking a piece of apple and bouncing towards me, "Luna say Aaaaaa!"

I chuckled at his cute baby voice before fulfilling his wish.

"Luna one more this one for those cuties!" Hoseok picked one more from the plate and brought it closer to my mouth. How am I supposed to say no to that heart-shaped grin?

"Lunnaaaaa, one for both of you and alpha too, he's not here, so you eat." There comes the most adorable little fluffball, Jimin. How I'm supposed to say No to that eye smile now?

Suddenly a mild cry caught our attention.

"Lunaaaaaaa!" Namjoon came running towards me, his eyes were all red and puffy.

"Come here, baby! What happened?" I asked him wiping his tears away, cupping his face, looking at him worriedly. He wrapped his little arms around me sobbing continuously.

The maid entered with a broken piece of glass vase in her hands, "Luna he just accidentally broke the vase in the way here."

All the boys started laughing like maniacs, Jimin was cuddling with the floor, making joon tightening his arms as he snuggled more in me, "Awww baby, listen it's ok don't cry." He looked at me with a pout making me laugh as well.

Sitting beside alpha I looked at the bare sky filled with so many stars shimmering like breathtaking beauty in that bare darkness.

That's when I filled a kick, the first kick of our baby.

"Ah! Honey...!" I grabbed his hand placing it on my expanded tummy. As the baby kicked again. Alpha's eyes widened with joy, "Babies kick that hard?"

I chuckled a little before answering, "Ummm well I don't think so, but he's way too heavy than a normal baby...And his kicks and movements are powerful than a normal baby. I don't know if it's a good thing or not." I looked at him a little bit worried about his future.

He clutched my hand in his lap looking at me lovingly, "Be proud love! Our child is going to be that strong. Trust me your sacrifices and wait will be worth it."

Lightning lit the skies in brilliant streaks. Fog embraced every tree, every square centimeter of ground.

"Ahh!" I shrieked a little.

"What happened?"Alpha Kim turned towards me with worry on his face, to which I smiled to him assuringly, "Nothing, just this fool is getting stronger day by day!"

He chuckled at my statement, leaning to peck my forehead, "I'll be leaving for a meeting, if anything happens or you need anything, just mindlink me, okay?"

"Right now? In the middle of the night? And even the weather is not good." I frowned and held his hands tighter.

"I'll be back till tomorrow evening don't worry love." He smiled at me assuringly pecking my forehead once more.

AUTHOR'S POV

The lightning and the sun upon the cloud tops was the only brightness that day. The wind ran as if it has been restrained for time out of mind and it was determined to outrun any chaser.

Even though the weather was rather nice for few days and, it changed dramatically yesterday night. In a few minutes, gusts of wind hit houses, as some trees were falling to the ground noisily.

It seemed like God was desperate to show his own power as if someone underestimated him, shaking everything on earth.

The sky, so blue before, was now black with very few striking grey clouds. Just an hour after these climatic changes, rain started to pour down on the battered ground.

The roads were covered by mud, and rivers were full soon, as the pack members felt more and more threatened by inundations.

Pack members were trying to prevent people from getting hyper. Thunder started to roar while the ground became no more than something like brownish water.

The pregnant woman was standing on the balcony of her palace, placing her hand on the grills like she was in some deep thoughts.

"What's happening there, baby? Afraid of the storm?" The woman let her chin rest on her palm, as she watched the youngsters.

Her face twisted in pain as something hit her as a wave. Feeling that something wasn't right, she called for the maid.

She instantly clutched her hand on the round belly. She could feel the baby moving a lot as well as something like shockwaves. Maybe too much.

The maid came running to her.

"C- call the midw-wife." Somehow she let out a sentence as some other maids helped her to come inside and lay on the bed.

"H-honey!" She stammered and her voice sounded low to Alpha Jeon.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asked, his face contoured in worry now.

But the pain was too much for Luna to focus on anything else, "Be fast it h-hurts, it's ti-time!" With that, the mindlink went off as Alpha hurried his way towards the palace.

When the labor began the pain was more intense than anything Luna had ever imagined. Nothing could be more brutal, neither whips nor chains.

The room was only the bed and four walls, her helpers melting into the background as if they weren't even there.

With each contraction came a pain that dominated Luna's entire being. In those moments, for those seconds that stretched into infinity, there was nothing else.

Luna could feel her cervix dilating and the contractions were starting to feel heavier than before.

At this point, it was either endure it which she had been doing all this time. Or just take medicine that would help alleviate some of that pelvic pain and make this process so much quicker.

"I'm...so...tired...it hurts!"

Luna said this while sobbing. Even if this was a natural event in life, she could only endure so much.

Right now, the only thing keeping her up and going was knowing that alpha was almost here.

Luckily Martha was able to inform her that the soon-to-be father was less than 30 minutes away from the palace. But the most important part for Luna was pushing and pushing and more pushing.

The babies were causing some kind of internal struggle within their mom, subconsciously trying to figure out who was going to make their way out first.

Maid and the midwife was there coaching her on her progress and said that she was doing fine. They urged her to push and to keep going.

"Your highness, don't let go of your will." The midwife said trying to encourage Luna.

"But, I can't! I'm so tired and Alpha is not here." She said crying while holding onto the barriers of the bed.

20 minutes of screaming and abdominal pains went by before as the door abruptly opened. Alpha finally came and walked towards his women, sitting on the side of the bed he held luna's hand in his.

"I'm sorry for being late." Alpha said apologetically and kissed her and she pushed him away not really in the mood for a kiss at the moment.

"D-don't kiss me, just stay here and watch over me! Oh my goodness, I look like a hot mess right now."

Everybody had a small smile at the words of their queen and they really couldn't blame her at the moment for having those thoughts.

Well, being apologetic certainly wouldn't have helped the situation right now so the best he could do was to sit tight with his wife.

The most nervous one was alpha, he was scared, anxious, and fidgety while hyperventilating but he made sure he kept his composure. He was worried for luna and the babies of course.

Everyone told him to calm down and leave everything to the maids, the best he could do was just support her as much as possible.

Breathing and screaming, luna was now pushing.

If she thought the contractions from before were worse, they actually paled in comparison to the actual birthing process.

Her insides now felt like they were being rearranged in a way that shouldn't have been humanly possible whatsoever.

"Come on love, push! Push with all your might, you're so close! Just keep pushing!" Alpha encouraged while keeping an eye on her.

It was true, luna could feel something trying to make its way out.

The pushing was making her so tired though, she wanted to go to sleep but with one of the little tykes peering its little head, that just wasn't possible at the moment.

Alpha tried his best to calm her down as much as possible, "Don't worry honey, you can do it. You're almost there."

"I know I can do it, you idiot! But right now, it hurts so bad, sooooooo bad." She snapped at him a little more harshly than expected. Alpha could understand why she snapped like that. With so much pressure and no inclusion to help, anybody would want to yell.

Now seeing a head, the midwife got her to push and push and push. With the head making its way out, at that very moment, the sky turned his way.

The heat rose off the tarmac in shimmering waves, as more lightning struck on the palace towers. The night struck the pack as the full moon made its way up high in the sky.

The howlings of wolves were heard as soon as the moon started changing its color in blood-red like someone stabbed it million times to make the blood gush out. It seems like the moon was not getting bathed from the light of the sun but something else.

Depending on the composition of the atmosphere, different parts of the light spectrum are filtered out. The red color was indicating the power that he had in it.

The strongest rays of the blood-red moon was representing that someone ultimate, indestructible was to be born.

The whole pack starts howling at the scene of Blood Moon in front of them.

They all submitted themselves not at the rays but at the direction of the room where luna was just about to give birth, to their future Alpha.

"THE BLOOD MOON'S BLESSING THE BLOOD MOON KING!" Everyone howled together and it was like a strong power, making everyone down on their knees to the strongest effect.

"Ahhhhhh!" With a shattering scream, luna finally pushed the first infant out.

Taking a few seconds to breathe, Luna realised that she had just become a mother.

"The first one's a boy! Alpha Jeon, he's born with the blessings of blood moon." The midwife took the baby and gave it to Luna for her to hold.

Alpha moved towards the new addition to the family and was amazed at how sparkling and strong the eyes of this little one was.

Luna was the one who was amazed the most. She couldn't believe that this little person was inside her for nine whole months and that it finally made its debut to the world.

Her gaze softened when she saw her son move causing tears of joy to secrete from her eyes.

"I do love this moment but we have a second one to get out, Your Highness." The maid said causing Luna to frown but she gave her son a kiss before giving him to the alpha, "Don't worry, you'll be reunited with him soon."

Luna focused once more and focused on the other one inside her. For some reason, she felt this one was a bit different while pushing.

It wasn't as strong as her son was. She hoped that it didn't mean anything ominous was going to happen to her second child.

"Come on, push love. You have just one more in you, we know you can do it." With the little words of encouragement from Alpha Jeon, Luna pushed for the little angel inside her, screaming while the second baby finally came out.

"Congratulations Your highness, she's a girl!" The maid said happily.

Right now, Luna was tired but not exhausted enough to not see her baby. She was waiting to hold the second one, "Oh my goodness, they're so beautiful." She whispered.

She, along with alpha took a good look at the twins. Seeing as they were fraternal, they decided to hold onto the baby opposite of their respective genders. Alpha held the girl while luna held the boy.

Now both holding the two babies, they examined their aesthetic features unique to each other. The girl has pearly eyes on the other side the boy's eyes were shining with prominence.

As alpha extended his hand towards the baby boy, he gripped his finger with his small hands.

Alpha and luna smile at their baby's action but frown looking at each other in concern when the alpha failed to retrieve his hand from the little one's grip.

"Feels like I underestimated you!" Looking into the boy's eyes he smiled as he let out, "Jeon Jungkook!"

Listening to the name the little boy's eyes started shining as his head tilted towards the window.

The alpha repeated the name as the replica of the red moon was now visible in his eyes, "Jeon Jungkook!"

The child let out a hearty soft laugh. As luna looked towards the baby girl, "Jeon Jihyun!"

Alpha picked both the children in his arms as he made his way outside. As soon as he exited the room the other authorities accompanied him towards the announcement chamber.

The whole pack was kneeling down. As Alpha raised the children in the air, "Jihyun the princess of blackrose, busan."

His beta came forward taking Jihyun in his arms as Alpha spoke further, "With the blessings of the moon goddess, Our future Alpha Jeon Jungkook is now the superior!"

The whole pack let out a howl under the neon red sky, before completing Alpha's sentence together with him.

"THE BLOOD MOON KING!"
