The Wolf
As soon as they registered what Techno said they sprinted off, to where he didn't know. He starred at their fading backs sprint off, making shore they actually left. Techno instantly thumped to the ground sighing, "I just arrived a few days ago and I already have people like them showin' up"
He crinkled his nose in announce but it gradually faded turning to his usual plan expression. Pulling his fingers though his unusually dark pink hair because of all the blood it recently soaked up.
He closed his eyes just listening the bird chirping and the leafs rustling in the wind. A leaf fell down falling on the tip of his nose. Techno didn't move a muscle, just siting there basking in the tranquility of that moment.
Growl...!
Crunch!
Techno didn't need to open his eyes to know what it was or what that sound was. But... He couldn't help opening his eyes. He sall a rogue wolf that looked to be starving. (So, that's the reason it came to me,for food) But before Techno could do anything about it he had a memory evade his subconscious.
The 6 year old boy walked twords the dark forest, taking steady steps not in fear what so ever. He stopped at the edge of the forest looking behind himself to make shore his parents didn't follow him.
Taking a step forward he sighed in relief. The boy walked for about 30 minutes till he got to a clearing with tall grass that seemed even darker than the rest of the forest. He walked to a large apple tree with fresh snow on it's cold dry branches. Thought right under the tree there was no snow and a small hole under the tree that could only hold two small children.
He shivered a bit because of the cold. He didn't have a coat, his parents wouldn't buy him one and the only other way he'd actually get one is if he stole one. He isn't like that no matter what he wouldn't steal in his opinion that was wrong, especially if they didn't deserve it.
Though he didn't really mind the cool quite frankly he liked it. He doesn't know why but he never liked the heat only the cold. Just the way his feet sunk into the ground and made that crunching sound made his day. Every day he'd seek out and come here and just lay down and relax. And bask in the quietness even if just for 5 minutes he'd still saver it.
As he continued walking a gust of bone chilling wind swept past him. It was cold but by this time he'd gotten use to it. He walked to the tree seeing its small branches sag because of the weight. The boy walked to the small hole and got in seeing an old hole covered wool blanket that seem to be years old and only the size of half of him.
But none a less he still covered himself with it not caring one bit, just happy that no animals or homeless people took it. But to be honest doesn't think anyone would actually want it. He was in his own thoughts when he heard somethin'.
Crunch.!
Crunch.!
Growl...!
He looked over to see a black rouge wolf staring right at him seemingly to have hypothermia. *A picture of it is above! 😊* It took a step forward intending to take this place for him self but the boy was not havin' it.
As soon as the wolf was about to lung at the boy he quickly grabbed it's neck slamming it to the floor.
Slam!
Whimper..
The wolf cried out in pain trying to get free realizing it had made a mistake. He put more pressure on it's neck trying to get the male wolf to submit and not attack him anymore.
The boys facial expressions were even colder as he glared at the wolf still righting under him. It looked defeated as he stopped struggling. Slowly he let go of it's neck making shore it didn't try to rip his arm off.
He sat back down next to the wolf waiting for it to make its move. The wolf rolled over on its belly just watching him. The boy extended his left hand in front of it's nose waiting for it to sniff it.
It growled a bit but then sniffed his hand. It licked his hand after thinking he was safe to be around. The boy, for the first time, genuinely smiled at his antics, amused at what he did. Extending his hand he pu it on his head rubbing it a bit to see his reaction.
"I can't just keep calling you wolf or 'it' I'll have to give to a name." The wolf titled his head not understanding what he said. The boy then thought a bit then said, "Hmm how about Floof" Floof waged his tail liking it's name causing the boy to feel joy.
"Then it will and always be Floof. My First friend.."
