Chapter 58: Fifty Bucks

"Well, bloody hell someone help me out of this damn thing!"

Susie was trying to hold back a laugh while Caleb struggled at pulling himself out of the bowl; cigar in his mouth while he muttered out curses, Bernard offered him a hand as the foxes both almost snickered in delight.

Caleb stepped out and looked around, puffing on his cigar quickly. "Nice little den you have set up here Hadrian," he said while waving his cigar around, gesturing to the whole house.

"Thank you," my father said as he shook Caleb's hand. "I think Willa and I will make it permanent."

"Well good," Caleb answered as he gave my mother a side hug before Bernard walked towards him, eyeing him with wide eyes that made Caleb smile softly. "You look better you old crab."

Bernard breathed out a laugh and hugged him while I stood and walked over to Caleb. Smiling at him, I asked, "Caleb do you want something to drink?"

The foxes were rubbing against his leg as Alice hopped in front of him. He gave me a side hug and looked back towards the kitchen. "Coffee if you have it dear."

"I don't think we're capable of not having it," I replied while I walked towards the kitchen as Dagny gave Caleb a tight hug.

Caleb released her and bent down to pet the familiars while I reached for a coffee mug hanging on a hook under one of the cabinets. "Well, let's get going. Time is limited and we don't need her knowing."

"Right," my father breathed out as Levi gave Caleb a sold nod. "So far the rogue situation has been handled. They more or less are either here bunking up and recovering or they are on the flatlands with the non-core alphas recovering. Warehouses are eliminated. We have the three other allied alpha's up to speed and ready to go ahead with the attacks. We also have the covens and vampires on our sides, both knowing their places."

Caleb let out a long whistle as I poured some coffee in a cup for him. "Caleb, cream or sugar?"

"No dear, just black thank you," he replied. I walked over to him while he scratched his head and walked towards an empty chair to sit in. "Thank you," he murmured to me as I handed him the cup.

"Well, you've been busy," Caleb said.

I walked back to Ethan and sat down in my previous spot. My beast slightly purring when his arms wrapped around me and pulled me into his chest while his lips kissed my temple. Leopold and Zara trotted over to us; they did a few circles between our legs then laid down.

"We have," my father replied with a nod.

"And Aurelia?" Caleb asked before he took a sip of his coffee.

"Still thinks she's sitting on a throne," Levi answered. "Seen anything else over there?"

Caleb shook his head, his cigar smoke seeping off of it before he snapped his fingers and stopped it from going more than a few feet away from him. "Not that we've seen. She does think it's all vampires. It seems like she's letting herself become blinded by power."

"What is in that drink she keeps drinking?" I asked. "That powder?"

Caleb shrugged. "Well dear girl, certainly bloodstones from what we can tell. I am not sure about the rest, I would need to see it to really tell you. Regardless, she's intaking the bloodstones that is not good. Not good at all."

"What does it do?" Jane asked as Caleb looked at her curiously. "Oh, hi, I'm Jane–"

"She's mine," Lucas said with a satisfied smirk that made Jane roll her eyes.

Caleb chuckled and took a puff of his cigar before he looked back at Jane. "Well, it takes a toll–a large one. Great power like that, blood magic like that, does not come without consequences–it is a steep price to pay. She is ingesting the magic and blood of others, a vampire in her own way, and her body will start to rely more and more on it until she can't go without it. Until her magic will depend on it."

"She'll turn into a vampire?" Eve asked. "That's what it sounds like."

"Worse," Caleb breathed out. "She will rot. The more her magic depends on the blood magic, the more of her life it will suck out if it does not have what it needs. She will start to rot body and soul without it, becoming a shell of nothing–a revolting creature that is a slave to her magic's demands, it's very likable to a rogue. Her logical mind will start to become a slave to the magic in her, forgoing any coherent thought when hungry. The hungry it gets, the more it takes over, and there are some parts that she will never be able to get back."

"Holy shit," Lucas breathed out.

"Keep letting her have it then," Ethan almost laughed out. "Let her rot herself away."

"It gives her more power Ethan, you know that," Levi warned.

"Power that is nothing without her drink. Is there any way to keep it from her that morning or distract her?" Caleb asked.

"Potentially," Ethan mused.

"Well," Caleb sighed out. "Either way, she has been doing it for too long. I can't imagine the toll it's taken on her already. She's weak without it. Think of it like a vampire with their blood or you if you don't let your beast out after a long time. You go mad. Vampires specifically, need their blood to do a number of things; and while age plays a role in it, no blood no power."

I leaned back against Ethan as Caleb's words sank in. My thoughts traveling back to the day that the rogues had taken Derek. The day Levi and I came home from the bear hunt to fund Derek so weak that he was burning in the sun–blood deprived. Even with his age, if he went long enough without it, he too would start to become a slave to his hunger.

My beast stirred and agreed. We both thought about what would happen if we didn't let her out when she needed to–when we needed her too. I thought about times when I had gone too long without letting her run in our fun; I was angry, ancy, and anxious.

"So, what? The more magic she uses the more she needs her go-go juice?" Lucas asked.

"Something like that," Caleb replied. "I would let Susie and Bernard handle her–"

"I was thinking that Dominic and Lizzie could compel her?" my thought out loud, my mother feeding him another cookie which made him look at her with a warm smile of crumbs decorating his mouth.

"Just keep her from using her magic, I could care less of how you dispose of her as long as you do efficiently," Caleb said as he looked at my father, his eyes firm. "Things are moving Hadrian. We can feel it."

"What do you mean?" Eve asked.

"I mean that she is smart," Caleb said before he took a puff of his cigar. "Very smart. Don't be blinded by this happiness now, you live in a world where you could be ripped apart again."

I felt Ethan still behind me while my own heart skipped a beat. Levi's beast was shaking his fur out while Lucas' jaw clenched. My father pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a long breath before he nodded . "You're right, what do you think it is?"

"We're not sure. Daphne is out with some others to check on the realms, specifically our favorite people. It's secure, very secure, but you never know these days. My advice to you would be to do it quickly, as dissatisfying as it may be. Send her here and rest easy knowing that she and her father will suffer greatly."

"Alright," my father breathed out. "We're going to bring the other's here and brief them. If we need anything we'll bowl call you again but I don't want to take any chances."

"Sounds good," Caleb said with a nod before he took a long sip of coffee. "Bernard, help me back into the bowl please."

Ethan was toying with some of my hair as Bernard helped Caleb carefully step back into the bowl. He waved at us and bid us all goodbye while my beast stirred, the thought of being separated from Ethan again was unbearable.

"What are you thinking?"

"I just want her dead."

"She will be baby," he replied before he kissed my cheek. "Either way, we will always find each other–"

"Ethan, I–"

"Sunshine, we found each other again time after time, we will always be with each other. You are mine baby, no one's changing that."

My beast purred in agreement. We knew it was true. There had been every opportunity for the moon to change her fate for us, but we still found each other. We would always find each other.

"I love you."

"I love you too sunshine."

"Well, do we want to got have a poof party?" my mother asked. "I think the others are meeting us in there."

" A poof party," Levi chuckled out while Eve rolled her eyes.

After Caleb had successfully traveled back into the bowl, we headed over to the pack hall where Derek, Elliot, Dominic, Lizzie, Evie, and Barrett were waiting for us. Evie loved the foxes, she wanted Barrett to get her a pair for Christmas which Dagny agreed to help him with–much to his displeasure. Cora and Jake were waiting for us with Micah. Jake and Micah had the satellite phones with them while Cora worked with some of the pack members on getting the food together.

"Alright, everyone know the drill?" my father asked while I handed Ethan a small pouch of dust.

"Yup. Let's poof their asses," Levi said as everyone scattered around the hall.

Ethan pulled me close to him while I hung a pouch on a long leather string around his neck. "You don't need that much, remember?"

"I remember sunshine, you ready?"

"Let's get your brother," I said while I reached into my pouch, my eyes catching sight of the darkness outside. It was time.

Ethan let out a long breath and pulled me tight to him. He leaned down and kissed me, resting his forehead on mine as I threw the dust down on the ground.

And we were pulled.

Ethan held on tight to me, it was like when we had gone to the tree. We fell through space and what felt like cool night air until we both landed in the living room of our home.

A fall that had us both scrambling up while Evan and Lyanna stared at us in shock. "Is that–" Evan tried to say but Ethan tackled him and threw some dust down, right as I tackled Lyanna who was standing with her mouth open staring at me.

The dust hit the ground, taking Lyanna and out of our living room and back through a fall that felt like I was traveling through clouds. She clung onto me, her fingers digging in my arms until we fell down onto the ground–hitting other bodies in the process.

Ethan was picking himself off the ground as Evan scrambled up while Lyanna and I both groaned as we pushed ourselves off of the ground.

"Ethan what the hell?!"

"Sorry Ev, we had to," Ethan said as he stood up.

"We?" Evan rushed out before he looked at Lyanna as a whimper came out of her mouth, a whimper that was drawn by the sight of me. Evan's eyes turned to look at me, cocking his head as he stepped a hair closer. "We?" he said more softly.

"Charlotte?" Lyanna asked, her eyes watering while Evan stepped a little more closer.

"Hi," I breathed out with a soft smile. "Sorry about kidnapping you, we kind of had to."

"What?! How?!" Evan's beast was almost trembling before Lyanna lunged at me, pulling me into a tight hug while she sobbed on my shoulder.

"We found the portal the moon goddess used," I told him. "We walked back from the moon."

"Oh my God," he breathed out as he knelt down to where Lyanna as hugging me tight to her. "Little sister?" he asked, his voice cracked as I nodded at him.

Evan hugged me while Lyanna nuzzled my cheek. He kissed my cheek then hugged me tight to him again as a series of sharp pants came out of his mouth. "You walked back from the moon," he said, more to himself than to anyone else.

"Oh my God Charlotte!" Lyanna sobbed out. "Oh my God, I missed you!"

I nuzzled her cheek, my hands rubbing her back as her sobbing quieted. "I missed you too little lightening bug."

Evan smiled, his eyes were watery before he hugged me again. "Christ little sister–"

"Charlotte?!" I snapped my head around to see Andrea almost bent over, her hand over her mouth while her beast prowled back and forth in confusion.

"Hi," I said with a smile as Jaxon slowly walked towards me.

He looked at Ethan who nodded to him. "It's real Jaxon. She's real."

"Dammit!" Andrea growl-cried out before she was running to me. I jumped up, wiping my eyes, and walked towards her. She barred into me, almost knocking me down as a sharp sob came out of her lips.

"Hadrian?! Aunt Eve?!" Evan was staring with wide eyes at the room before he looked back to Ethan, his finger shaking at he pointed in the direction of Susie and Lizzie. "Who the hell is that?!"

"Susie and Lizzie, Bernard and Dominic's mates," I answered as I nuzzled Andrea's cheek.

"I missed you," she breathed out. "I missed you so much–I have so much to tell you."

"Wine?" I asked with a laugh.

Andrea laughed a little then hugged me again. "I can't have wine anymore. Not for nine months anyways," she whispered so quietly I almost didn't hear it.

But when I did, my body froze as I pushed her back. My eyes wide as they flickered between her eyes and her stomach. "You're serious? You better not be kidding me, Andrea, I swear–"

"Charlotte, it's true. I got my heat a few weeks ago, and well, you know..." She flushed as her eyes cautiously looked back at Jaxon who was hugging Ethan, then back to me. "Anyways, I wasn't sure. Caden more or less made me drink a gallon or orange juice then had me pee on like five of those stupid sticks. All positive. It's almost Jaxon's birthday, I wanted to wait another week and tell him then."

"WHAT?!

"I know," she murmured back as tears leaked out of her eyes. "I was so upset–I can't do this without you. I can't–whatever it is, it needs its aunt Charlotte."

"Oh my God, Andrea–I don't know what to say. I'm so happy for you!" I rushed out before I crushed her to me. "You better hope he doesn't smell it."

"He already thought he could. Males," she grumbled.

There was a cry behind us. I looked, pulling away from Andrea to see Lander and Claire staring at me with David, Claire more or less on the verge of tears while Remi and Ryder were hugging Eve.

I covered my mouth then trotted to Claire, practically throwing myself in her arms as she nuzzled my hair. Lander let out a sharp breath then pulled us both into his arms, his beast coming close to sniff my hair before he nuzzled it as well.

"You're here," she breathed out. "You're really here."

"I am," I replied.

"Levi, have you–holy shit, Hadrian?!" Lander exclaimed. "Hadrian?"

"Hello Lander, nice to see you on this side," my father said with a smile as my mother walked over to hug Claire.

She rubbed her cheek against Claire, who was still holding onto me and smiled at her. "I'm Willa, it's so nice to meet you. You have a lovely son, they're looking after him."

"Liam?" she breathed out.

I nodded to her with a weepy smile. "Margaret and Chris have him running around with Eli most of the time."

Lander covered his mouth as his eyes watered. Levi walked over and gave his shoulder a light squeeze as I stepped away from Claire so my mother could hug her.

Soon though, I was being properly tackled down. Tackled down and hugged while my lungs struggled to catch the breath they had lost.

"Ghostrider?!"

"Holy shit, Charlotte!"

"What the hell?!"

I looked up to see Remi and Ryder staring down at me. I laughed and sat up, hugging both of them before I shrugged. "Hi guys, miss me?"

"See Rem, I told you it wasn't nothing!"

"Jesus Ryder," Remi groaned before he looked back at me. "The day that you must have come back, Ethan and Levi both had their marks come back. We all thought it was her except Ryder who was more or less annoyingly adamant that it was not."

"And I was right!" Ryder added. "So right! Piss on all of you! I was right."

"Well, he kind of was," I added with a meek smile.

"See!" Ryder said while Remi rolled his eyes.

"I missed you guys," I breathed out before I hugged them again.

Remi nodded. "We missed you, Char. Everything kind of went to shit after."

"Not us, though," Ryder said with a smile.

Remi nodded in agreement. "He's right. We are the shit."

Ryder laughed then kissed where Remi's mark was, making my heart swell before I was knocked down again. I groaned and looked up to see a young male with wavy white blonde hair and silver eyes looking at me with another young female in brown pigtails and big brown eyes.

"Charlotte!"

"Aunt Char's Alive!"

"Hey Lyle, hey Pen," I laughed out as I pulled the pups close to me, nuzzling each of them as they hugged me. "Miss me?"

"Yes!" they both said together.

"Aunt Char, you totally missed me shift," Lyle said with a tiny frown.

"I know," I replied. "I missed both of you, did anyone film it?"

"I did!" Remi called out

"Well, we can watch it later, alright?" I added. "And we can go for a run."

Penny scooted closer to me. Her eyes were watering and lip quivering. "Charlotte, I missed you."

"Come here Pen," I said as I opened my arms to her.

She crawled in my lap and leaned her head on my shoulder, tears spilling out while Lyle looked on in worry. "It's ok Pen, she's back, you don't have to cry," he told her.

"I'm–" she paused as she sucked in a breath. "Just–" another breath, "so–" a sharper breath, "happy!"

"Charlie!" David called out as he let go of Eve to walk to me. "Oh my God girl, what the hell?!"

"Hey David," I said with a tiny laugh as he bent down to hug me, Penny still in my arms.

"David, can we go on a run with Aunt Charlotte?" Lyle asked.

"Maybe later Lyle, I think we have some business to handle first, ok?"

"Alright," he sighed out before he held out his hand to Pen. "Come on Loppy, I think there are cookies on the counter."

"What did you just call her?" I asked as Pen took Lyle's hand.

"Loppy," he said with a blushed smile. "I couldn't say Penelope when I was younger, so I said Lope which I guess turned into Loppy."

"So I'm Loppy," she said, her eyes unamused as Lyle pulled her up.

I nodded to Lyle, dumbstruck, as Ethan walked up with some wide brows. "Did I just overhear what I think I heard?"

"I think you did," I replied as a few more cracks sounded.

Deryl was pushing Angeline behind him, cursing up a storm while Ajax started to threaten everyone within an inch of their life as Talia cracked her neck. I rolled my eyes and ran over, pushing Jake and Cora back while Elliot and Derek just winked before they zipped over to Lander and Claire.

"Ok, calm down. We're sorry about kidnapping you, but–"

"Are you kidding me?!" Talia exclaimed while Angeline pulled me into a bone-crushing hug. "Really?!"

"Really," I breathed out while Deryl and Ajax stared on with wide eyes. There were more cracks, Issach and Blaire poofed in with Susie and Bernard, landing on their asses as Levi walked over to calm them down before they could attack anyone.

"Deryl!" Angeline exclaimed. "Deryl!"

"I know babe, I see what you see," he breathed out, his eyes wide as he looked me over.

"She walked back from the moon," Ethan said with a soft smile.

I rubbed my cheek against Angeline's then walked to Talia, hugging her while more people poofed in. Caden landed on his ass with Lucas holding him, cursing up a storm before he caught sight of me. "What the hell is happening?!"

"How about we eat and explain?!" Derek called out. "I made chili! And lot's of it!"

I looked at Ethan, a little exasperated. He pulled me back to him while Talia walked quickly to Levi and Eve with wide eyes before she hugged Eve. "I love you," he breathed against my ear.

"Andrea's pregnant," I breathed back. "And I love you too."

"What?! Does he–"

"Know she's waiting until his birthday so when you two are gossiping like women, keep your damn mouth shut," I rushed back.

"Jaxon and I do not gossip like women," he replied in a mock hurt as we walked to where the line for food was starting.

"Uh you do too," Andrea replied as we approached.

"Sweet thing, I think you are mistaken," Jaxon replied. " Ethan and I only talk about important pack matters, speaking of which, we have some young males more or less need a hiding."

Caden grumbled while I walked into his hug. He sighed and looked over at me while Ethan chatted with Jaxon. "I can't believe it, but I am so glad. He was miserable without you."

"I was miserable without him. The other side is a lonely place without your mate."

Caden gave me a kiss on the cheek before I returned to Ethan's side while Evan hugged Eve. Lyanna was talking with my mother, wiping her eyes as Lizzie and Dominic zipped over to us. Dominic looked around while Andrea looked at Lizzie. "Well, I say this is a nice little war party Char."

"I would say so Dom," I replied as I leaned against Ethan, his arm snug around my waist. "Oh, Andrea this is Lizzie, Dom's mate."

Lizzie gave her a mock salute. "I've heard a lot about you."

"You're his?" Andrea asked, gesturing between Dominic and Lizzie.

"She's mine," Dominic replied with a warm smile on his face.

"I died a long time ago, like Susie. God, I need a drink, Char, wine?"

"Yes," I breathed out.

"Me too," Caden added as he looked around the line. "Well shit, looks like Levi's taking like four bottles."

Lizzie waved Caden off as her eyes dilated. "Levi, bring us one of those bottles in your hand," she said, causing Dominic to roll his eyes before he kissed her temple.

Immediately, like a robot, Levi walked over–cursing the whole way, and handed Lizzie one on the bottles he was carrying. "Really?" he bit out.

"What? You have four, it only seems fair," she replied with a cheeky smile.

I gave Levi an innocent shrug as Andrea nodded in approval. Levi rolled his eyes and walked off as Jaxon eyed Lizzie. "So you can do what he can do?"

"Compel? Yes," she said with a nod. "Dominic's actually my maker."

"I'll get some glasses love–"

"I already got them," Derek called out with a weepy smile on his face. He was wearing the 'Kiss the Cook' apron I got him for Christmas; Elliot was giving Penelope a piggy back ride while Lyle carried their plates to a table.

Derek passed them out to us, Andrea waving him off while Jaxon eyed her curiously. "Since when do you not want wine? You can Caden are drinking it like housewives all the time."

"We have a lot of work to do and I'll get sleepy!" she replied while Caden looked down at the bottle, pulling the cork out with his clawed nail.

"Really sweet thing?" Jaxon asked incredulously. "You've been saying that a lot lately."

"Jaxon!" she rushed out as her cheeks blushed. " It's fine."

Derek raised his browns while Ethan bit his lip as Caden handed us both a glass. Jaxon pulled her closer to him, his eyes narrowing as his beast came closer to eye her. "Sweet thing what are you not telling me?"

"Nothing, you're being dramatic," she replied casually.

"Am I being dramatic Ethan?"

Ethan froze. He looked at Andrea, who gave him a flighting pleading look, then to Jaxon. "We do have a lot to do Jaxon."

"Cut the bullshit, Andrea tell me now," Jaxon said as he looked back at her.

I mouthed, 'sorry,' to her as she just threw her hands up in defeat. "I'm pregnant you arrogant dramatic asshole. Dear Moon, I was going to surprise you on your birthday, but no! Someone has to make– "

"Baby, I know," Jaxon chuckled out.

"What?!" Andrea looked at him with wide eyes.

Jaxon shrugged innocently. "Someone, a beta we shall not name, did not throw away those five little sticks you two were gabbling about in the bathroom."

"You spied on us?!"

"Of course I spied on you! I've more or less been able to slowly smell it on you. I can definitely smell it now."

"Jaxon!"

"What?! I figured you wanted to tell me on my birthday, and then I overheard you with Caden and you were so excited and I didn't want to ruin that for you so I've been waiting my ass off–"

"You know," she stated, her eyes softening.

"Yes sweet thing, I know. Why is why you are staying as far away from this mess. Preferably in a bubble made of steel."

Derek squealed and hugged Andrea while Ethan gave Jaxon another hug as Caden grumbled under his breath. "I totally swore I thought I destroyed them Big A!"

"Caden, putting a newspaper over in the garbage desposal them does not hide them. That and I saw the boxes in the trash you moron," Jaxon laughed out.

Caden sighed and tossed his hands up. "I quit."

"Quit what?" Talia asked.

"Nothing, Andrea's pregnant and Caden and her were going to surprise me but they are terrible at it–and I'm terrible as waiting."

"What?!"

Andrea let out a laugh with teary eyes as Jaxon pulled her close and kissed her. I sighed as Ethan pulled me tighter to him. "Well, I'm drinking your share of wine," I told her.

"Me too," Caden added.

We all laughed and wept as people came to hug me and the others that had come back, as well and Andrea who we were more than excited for. She more than deserved a pup–she had waited long enough.

Jane was ecstatic. She and Lucas were already suggesting names, well their names, to be thrown into the potential name bucket.

Ethan stood in line with Jaxon and got some food for us while I took Andrea to sit down next to Levi and Eve. My father was laughing with Levi while my mother and Eve were exchanging stories about how ridiculous their men could be.

Levi was more than thrilled for Andrea, was everyone else. He also tossed his name into the name bucket, which just made Andrea roll her eyes. Soon Torrence, Fitz, and Brandon poofed into the room with Dagny, Vincent, and Cora. Alice hopped out of her palm and over to the foxes who were playing next to the fireplace.

Ethan brought me a bowl of chili with lots of Fritos and cheese with Evan in tow. Evan and Lyanna both still staring at me in mild shock. "I think I may have pissed myself, little sister."

Ethan chuckled. "Ev, I think you owe us fifty bucks."

Evan groaned. "I said I think Ethan. I definitely did not."

"Are you sure?" Ethan asked cheekily.

"Do you want to check brother?"

Ethan shook his head. "No, I do not in particular."

"Alright!" my father called out as Micah walked over to him, murmuring something to him that made him nod. "Well, hello. Sorry about kidnapping you all. Obviously, it was necessary."

"Hadrian?!" Ajax asked.

"Yes, I am Hadrian King, Charlotte's father. This is my mate Willa," he said gesturing to my mother who waved. "Well, we brought you all here because we have this witch problem that we are going to be more or less eradicating from this earth along with my little brother."

"How?" Deryl asked. "You know she has a shit ton of rouges?"

"Not anymore," my father chuckled out. "Let me explain," he said as he leaned against the table. "We walked back a few days ago. Right now, you are all in the Silver Mountains."

"What?!" Lander barked out.

Levi pushed him back down as he tried to stand. "Easy Lander. No one's going to kill you. Well, maybe me if you don't keep your damn mouth shut."

My father rolled his eyes and looked over at Lander. "When Ethan and the group came up here the first time, they eliminated two alphas. That left one, Xander, who more or less swallowed those packs up and took the land with the caves that had the rogues.

"When we walked back from the moon, Willa and I killed him, took his pack, and have reclaimed the mountain. The rogues are free, most healing from the sickness with the cure we brought over made from moonstones."

"Moonstones?" Talia asked.

Susie nodded and pulled one out of her bag; glimmering in the light as she held it. "It's a counter to bloodstones. They grow on the other side. We brought back stones, plants, and the cures we made. We gave them to the rogues and they are new wolves and vampires now.

"We could only help the ones with the cursed blood in them with this cure. The ones rogue with mate loss could not be helped. Instead, we let them walk to the other side. They were the exchanges for our lives."

"So she has no rogues?" Claire asked.

"No," my father said. "She has none. She has no idea about the mountains and she thinks that vampires are responsible for the warehouses."

"She does," Evan added. "She thinks they are moving in from what it sounded like."

"Good," my mother said.

"Where are they? All up here?" Jaxon asked.

My father shook his head. "No, the ones we saved in the mountains are here. The one's in the warehouses are on Torrence, Fitz, and Brandon's land."

"You knew?!" Lander exclaimed as he whipped his head around to look at the three young alphas.

Torrence shrugged. "Surprise?"

Fitz rolled his eyes. "We've been able to determine which ones can fight and which can't. We've also gotten the moon flower seeds from Susie, we've sent some of our inside men into the other packs. The families are going to plant the seeds tonight."

"I knew it!" Ryder exclaimed as Bowie shook his head. "What?! I totally knew. I told you something about those lines smelled weird."

"Got any more of those rocks?" Bowie asked.

"Up here?" Micah asked, earning him a nod from Bowie. "More than we like."

"Spread more of them along the borders, we don't need the other alphas catching wind," Bowie said.

My father nodded. "Let's do that. So here is our plan; we have the vampire's support, and the witches. Tomorrow is her meeting. The ones going to the meeting will go like business as usual," my father told them, causing Ethan to stiffen beside me. His beast was whining about at the thought of being away from me, and mine whining in return. "We will attack the five alphas she has with her while you are meeting. We'll take four hundred and raid them. We'll split the witches and the vampires too. It will be fast, quick, and clean. The wolves in those packs that are not with her will have moon flowers growing around their houses, tell your men to pass those homes by."

"The rest of us will march down from the mountain," my mother said. "The rest of the vampires and witches will join us. Dominic and Lizzie will handle the guards around the pack house."

"And what are you going to do?" David asked. "Walk in and kill her?"

"Yes," I replied, almost laughing because I was so giddy at the thought. "We are going to burn down her empire, then drag her and her father out to watch it as we destroy them."

David growled in approval. "I like it."

"As do I," Ajax echoed. "I should bring some popcorn," he added, earning him a slap from Talia on his chest.

"So how do you want to break it up then?" Issach asked.

"We have around a hundred witches poofing in here tonight," my father said. "And around fifty vampires. Alex and Alistair are waiting on call, right?"

"Right," Derek said with a nod. "I have an idea as well that involves Alistair."

My father growled in approval and nodded. "We'll take later," he said before looking back to Issach. "Do you think we could poof in some warriors of your's?"

"As many as you need," Isaach answered.

"A hundred?" my mother asked.

"Done," Issach said. "I need to get a hold of my beta, but they are ready when you need them."

"Good," my father answered with a nod. "So here's what we do. We have Jaxon, Ethan, and Levi's pack's all with around two hundred warriors ready to go, maybe a little more. Deryl and Ajax, would you say a little over a hundred?"

"A hundred and fifty, solid hundred and fifty," Deryl said with a nod.

"Alright, and you three," my father said as he looked over at Torrence, Fitz, and Bradon. "What do you think now with the rogues?"

"A hundred and fifty warriors and a hundred cured rogues. So two hundred and fifty total," Brandon answered. "They want to fight, some I doubt I could stop even if I wanted to."

"We have about two hundred we can march down with as well, that includes the cured rogues" my father added.

"That's a little over thousand," my mother said, her eyes looking forward as she leaned back in thought. "With the packs there's around eight hundred. The witches a hundred, the vampires, fifty, toss in a hundred more from Issach and Blair."

"We'll need it," Levi added. "She's smart. Too smart. We cannot be too prepared."

"So Torrence, Fitz, Brandon, Ajax, and Deryl; you all will raid the packs with Issach's men, half the vampires and half the witches," my father said.

Bowie nodded. "We know entry points. We can coordinate with the trackers. It will be quick and clean."

"I want Alex on that line," my father told Derek. "Have him knock them down like bowling ball pins."

"I can do that," Derek said with a dip of his head.

"The rest of the packs; Levi, Ethan, and Jaxon will swarm that pack house with the mountains. I don't know how much of a fight there will be, but I don't trust her. Levi's right, safe than sorry. If we need to flex more men we can."

"So then we raid the packs, and surround the pack house while you waltz in?" David asked.

"How many wolves will be there? And witches?" my father asked.

"Last time there was a meeting this big, around a hundred," Lander mused. "Maybe more since she's worked up over the vampires."

"So more," my father breathed out. "Dominic and Lizzie are going to be very busy with Alister. When the coast is clear, we will walk in with the vampire Ancients and witches, it is a national meeting after all, and we will more or less drag her ass outside to watch it all burn before we send her and my brother to the other side where I am sure my grandfather and some of our late family members have lovely plans for them."

"What if they link her or she gets word?" Ajax asked. "We attack those packs or you walk in, I mean she will know."

"She won't," Bernard said. "Susie and I will be going with Dominic and Lizzie. Before the meeting, we will be working some magic and casting a net around that house."

"A net?" Deryl asked.

Bernard nodded. "Think of it this way, if you send a message, then it will get caught in the net and it will be unable to travel to the sender. So they can link her or try to speak to her, but no messages will get to her. It's hard to do, but we can do it."

"But what about the rest of us?" Ethan asked. "We won't be able to speak with you."

"No," Susie sighed out. "Have your phone on you and be discrete. Do not contact us unless it is an emergency–and I mean end of the world emergency."

"It's what we have to do," Bernard said. "I know it is not ideal, but we will have the vampires and our men outside as well as some of the bird familiars flying around. We'll have eyes inside even though we can't communicate. Just remember, you all need to play your parts. You keep up her allusion, let her think that you are on her side, let her think that you too suspect the vampires, and let her think that you will cooperate. Do what you have to and keep her and her father in that damn room. If she finds out, it would not be good for us."

"Bernard is right," my father said, looking at all the wolves in the eye in the room–some of them shivering as his gaze hit him. "I know it's not ideal and I know it will be hard, especially after this, but we have to bite the silver bullet and do it. You need to trust us, we will be coming in there to take her down, but it will be chaos if she finds out. We do not need another catastrophe like we had at the tree. Does everyone understand?"

The room murmured in agreement which seemed to please my father. Ethan was stiff next to me. I knew it would be agonizing for him–after everything. I made a mental note to talk to him about it. "What of the other portal?" Andrea asked my father.

"The rogues in the warehouse–the ones sick with mate loss, will walk over after we have destroyed her. After they do, we will destroy it."

"Sounds good," Lander said with a nod.

"So let's eat then go get our warriors ready, if you need to be poofed back then come find one of us and we can," my father stated before he looked around the room for any questions.

"Also!" Dagny injected. "We have some things for you, first is moon dust for everyone. You will need to bathe in it tonight. It will help to block some of the blood magic, not all, but it will act like a shield."

"Bathe in it?" Evan asked.

Dagny nodded quickly while Alice climbed up onto Vincent's shoulder. "Yes, get a good soak. Dump the pouch in. I would recommend you do that before preparations, just to be safe."

"What's the second?" Andrea asked.

"Well," Dagny said with a grin as she dug into her bag. She pulled out a set of sleek black spandex looking pants–almost like yoga pants. "So after a lot of trial and error, and some testing on Lucas this morning, we have made these that you can wear under your clothes."

"What are they?" Jaxon asked with a raised brow.

"You can shift with them on and when you shift back they will still be on," she said as Lucas nodded.

"It was trippy but it works," Lucas said as Dagny jumped a little in excitement.

"We have tops for the girls too, Jane tested them. But we thought this would make warring easier for you, you know, so you don't lack clothing."

"Dagny, I thought you liked my naked ass?" Caden asked with a cheeky grin.

Dominic rolled his eyes and looked at Caden as his eyes dilated. "Sneeze."

Immediately Caden let out an aggressive sneeze that seemed the shake his body up. Jaxon erupted into laughter while Dagny smiled smugly before she nodded gratefully at Dominic. "Just make sure to come see me and get your pair," she called out.

"We also cannot link you yet from up here," my mother said. "Evan has a satellite phone as does Caden. If you need us before the meeting, you link them and relay the message."

"So we're burning a witch tomorrow?" Elliot mused with a Cheshire grin.

My father chuckled as he sat back down. "We're burning more than a witch, we're burning her empire down."
