3 (Ciel's POV)
Midnight rubbed against my legs, meowing contently.
Unlike me, who's jaw was dropped open in surprise. 'That couldn't have been him. He is so...different than before.' I picked up my cat and headed inside, slightly dazed by the earlier events. 'I don't miss him, so why am I thinking so much on this? Is it how mature he's acting now..?'
"Hm?" Sebastian hummed in question as he walked into the main room, "Who are you thinking about?"
"No one, don't worry about it." Kicking off my shoes, I set Midnight down.
"Is it our new neighbours? I have yet to meet them; we should go say hello later." My butler suggested with a slight smirk.
My visible eye narrowed. "What are you up to, demon?"
"Nothing, don't worry about it," He mimicked my tone, "the tea is in the kitchen, young master. I'm going upstairs to dust the library shelves; be prepared to head over next door in an hour." With that, Sebastian walked upstairs and out of sight.
"In an hour.." I mutter aloud, heading up to my room, "an hour until I get to see him again..what should I wear? Should I comb my hair differently? Maybe I shouldn't wear my eyepatch..? What am I saying, I don't care what I look like! It's not like I care what he thinks!!"
"Can you keep it down, Princess?" Sebastian called from down the hall.
I scoff, collapsing into my mattress. "Princess. I'll give him princess, damn demon. Why am I so worried anyway? So what if he's back? I really don't care...right?"
-----------
"My lord, are you ready?" Sebastian knocked on my bedroom door.
"Give me a moment!" I dropped the dress shirt that I was holding up to my chest by a mirror.
In a slight panic, I snatched up a pair of black skinny jeans and slipped them on, adding a pair of deep blue converse shoes.
"What shirt should I wear...ugh.." My fingers ran through my hair out of frustration.
"May I suggest a white button up with a purple tie? Purple is Lord Trancys favourite colour." Sebastian spoke through the door.
I felt my face heat up slightly. "Hold your tongue!"
'Although, he's right..' Thinking for a moment, I grab what Sebastian suggested and put it on, tucking the shirt into my jeans before adding a belt around my lower waist. With one last check in the mirror, I rest my hands on my hips.
"He's your enemy still, Ciel, remember that. This changes nothing. I don't know how he is back, but it can't be for a good reason. Don't give in to those stunning icy blue eyes of his, or the way his hair falls perfectly in the middle of his adorable face...or the way he got close to me at the party years ago..." My eyes widen as I slap myself, realizing what I was saying, "What's gotten into me?!"
"Oh, Romeo!" My butler knocked again on the door, "Save it for later or we'll be tardy!"
I blushed deeper, turning away from the mirror and grabbing my phone; walking out. "Save it, Sebastian. Let's just go."
