THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR BLOOD OF OLYMPUS SO IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT YET I RECOMMEND YOU GO DO THAT THEN COME BACK

Okay, I did not like BOO. At all. Whatsoever.

Before you all explode in my face, pleaseeeee let me explain why.

In TLO, the battle took up a majority of the book. In my opinion, the battle against Gaea and the Giants was quite literally this:

The Seven fought the giants on their own for 5 minutes before the Gods swooped down from the sky and smited them to Tartarus. Then, Zeus sent the half-bloods back to CHB, the showed up and the battle against greek and romans stopped. Then, Gaea showed up and BAM Leo dies, Gaea dies, they both die in a fiery ball of death. BUT NO ONE KNOWS LEO IS ALIVE AND THAT PISSED ME OFF.

That was how I saw it. I just thought the ending was a bit cliche. The one thing I did like was that Octavian died. And that we finally got a little sneak peek into his head towards the end.

Next, what is with the point of views? Rickie said that BOO didn't have Percy and Annabeth POV's because 'they had their turn in HOH'. Well Mr. Riordan, everyone else also had POV in HOH, why couldn't Percy and Annabeth have a few in BOO? Because personally, at that point I cared more about how Percy and Annabeth were recovering from Tartarus than what Jason's issues were. (I don't like Jason very much if you haven't caught on)

I was glad though that we got POV from Nico and Reyna. That was cool. But I'm still kinda confused on the whole Nico/Will thing. Are they a couple? Was Will flirting with Neeks or am I imagining things again? YOU SAID LESS CLIFFHANGERS RICK.

And what about Apollo? What's his punishment? And I feel like Artemis and Apollo didn't act like they did in Titan's curse, I dunno 'bout y'all.

Leo and Calypso? What about that ship? I didn't like the ending with that to be honest. I like them together, I just thought it would've been cooler if he used his wish to get back to her.

Speaking of wishes, what did the Seven get for being the Seven? Did they get offered immortality like Percy at the end of TLO or did they just get offered gifts like everyone else, or did they get to choose what they got?

All in all, BOO was pretty dissappointing for me.
