The air was bitter cold. Snow fell lightly through the sky causing a white blanket on the ground. Large paw prints were indented in the snow . A whistle of a breeze went by as the empty field showcased nothing but white.

There, stood two large werewolves pouncing at each other. On the right stood a large black wolf with sharp blue eyes. It's canines peeked out through its large mouth as it inhaled and exhaled rapidly. It's large feet were covered by the cold blanket of snow.

On the left side of the field a all white wolf blended against the snow. A black stripe went around it's body. It's eyes were red in color,teeth bared as it breathed rapidly after just having a very intense battle.

You've gotten stronger Wesley. You've worked hard. The black wolf communicated to Wesley through the mindlink. They both transitioned out of their wolf form. Bones cracked out of place as fur dissapeared from around their body.

Their claws slowly went back into the skin. Wesley stood stark naked in the snowy field, his pale body flexed against the moonlight showcasing his large muscles. He had grown into a fine young man at just seventeen years old.

His dark hair flipped about against the light wind. He watched his teacher shift back into his human form. They both got dressed where they kept a change of clothes and then headed back to the school.

"Are you eager to be going back home"? His teacher asked as the wind moved his long graying locks. He had taught Wesley all that he knew and he looked after him when he had first arrived here.

"I've got something waiting for me back home" Wesley grunted. They continued walking until the entered the boarding school. He had been here for a year in the hopes that a little distance would change his feelings about a special someone.

Needless to say, it didn't

In fact his feelings had grown even stronger than ever before. That was why he trained so hard. He tightly gripped the necklace around his neck that held the picture of a certain blonde haired girl. His mind always went back to the day his parents had told him he would be leaving to attend a boarding school.

That day he had been furious. His anger had gotten the best of him. No one could calm him down except for his precious piggy. She was the only person who understood him. It didn't matter that she was a vampire, the heart knows what it wants.

And if his parents thought that sending him miles away would change his mind they were stupid. The year he had attended boarding school he had decided to focus on his training. He worked out seven days a week and kept up a healthy regimen.

He was tall and fit and could take down anyone who got in his way. That was why he hadn't made any friends here. They would only prove to be a distraction and he couldn't afford to have his mind elsewhere.

Once Wesley made it back to his room he hopped in the shower. Letting the hot water run over his muscles he felt himself relax. A hot shower was definitely what he needed after training for hours in the bitter cold.

When he was finished he towel dried his hair. He put on a pair of workout shorts and a simple white tee. Sitting at his desk hs opened up his laptop immediately typing in Instagram in the web browser.

He had gone so far as to stalk her on social media. He couldn't help himself, as he scrolled through her page. She grew even more beautiful than ever before. He looked to see she had just posted a picture of herself with her two friends at an ice cream place.

He felt his heart beat faster as he stared at her face. Her blonde haired curled to perfection pulled back into a ponytail, topped off with a blue bow. She was always a girly girl dressing in pink or blue.

His eyes glanced at her one brown eye and the other golden. From what he had learned from stalking her page she had been looking for a procedure that could help her regain eyesight in her eye. Although he wondered how possible that was as he could remember her vision was severely blurred.

When he was done he closed his laptop to get ready for bed. In just two days he would be leaving for home. He had already packed his things which were little to nothing as he refused to bring a lot here since he knew he wouldn't be staying here long.

His parents finally agreed that it was time for him to come home. Even though he loved his parents, a part of him resented them for taking part in him missing out a year of her life.

He closed his eyes gently with his arms locked behind his head. His mind immediately went back to the day he left for boarding school.

Flashback..

"What is it Wesley? Why do you keep walking back and forth" Adora asked as she held her stuffed rabbit in her arms. He stopped his pacing to look her in the eyes. Immediately tears almost erupted and he looked up towards the ceiling to stop them from leaking down.

"I...I can't leave you" he grunted out his voice cracking. Adora looked confused as she pulled him down next to her. Immediately he pulled her closer into his embrace, he placed his head against hers.

"Wesley what are you talking about? Are you leaving somewhere"? she asked persistent. She looked up into his arms with an eyebrow raised. He gazed down at her small pink lips. He would have given anything to place his against her soft ones.

"Piggy... I'm leaving for a little while... for boarding school" he finally said. He watched as she fiercely shook her head anger appearing on her face. She got out of his arms stomping her feet.

"No you cant! This isn't fair....why"? Her voice cracked and light tears leaked from her eyes. She wiped them away with the back of her hand. Wesley couldn't stand to see her this upset.

"Don't cry piggy... you'll cause pain in your eye" he cooed gently pulling her back into his arms. But her sobs only grew louder causing a lump in his throat. He would miss this, being able to hold her close to his heart.

"Will you come back? Please Wes... don't go" she cried. She looked him in the eyes as he swept her hair away from her face. He nuzzled his nose against her tiny button nose. Inhaling her scent deeply into his nostrils.

"I will always come back to you. That is a promise" he stated caressing her cheek. He held her tightly until she had cried herself to sleep. The next day his parents and hers all gathered to see him off.

And when it was time to say goodbye to his dear piggy he couldn't stop his tears. He let them fall as he hugged her close to his body. He held her for what felt like a long time before glancing at her once more. He whispered against her ear gently.

"Wait for me. I'll be back soon" he promised before getting into the car. His mother and father hopped in and as the car drove away he could see her tiny hand waving goodbye.
