He Finds Hunters And Vampires
That night Wesley layed awake. His mind had been all over the place as he stared up at the high ceilings in his room. His thoughts consumed his piggy as he remembered every detail of her face. Right then he wanted nothing more than to call it quicks and capture her lips with his.
But a part of him wasn't sure she wanted that. He had known in his heart what he felt for her but what did she think of him? A part of him wondered but the other part didn't want to know. Call him a coward but he knew she could break his heart if she wanted.
Even without trying. He rolled over on his side facing the window that was cracked open slightly. A small fist of the cold winter air nipped at his face. He usually slept with the window opened ajar due to his body providing him with natural heat. Being a werewolf had it's perks, another thought racked his brain.
Adora was a pure blooded vampire while he himself a full blooded werewolf. Both species hadn't gotten along for centuries in fact they still fought till this day. There had only been one recorded case of a werewolf and vampire being together and it didn't end well.
The couple had fell in love against all odds and were banished from their families. That didn't stop them from being chased by their own communities until they were put on trial. Both were deemed guilty and were executed the next day. Rumor has it that they had a child who they let escape to protect her or him
No one knew his or her name. The whole story sounded ridiculous to him but it did cause him to be wary. He would do anything to protect his piggy, even if it meant losing his life in the process. Eventually he fell asleep and the next time he woke up the sun almost caused him to go blind.
He got up taking a quick shower and then getting dressed for the day. Today school wasn't in session due to an oncoming snow storm coming in the afternoon. He walked down to the kitchen in search for some food. As he was about to take a bite of an apple, a maid approached him timidly.
"Sir, your parents request your presence in the office" she said sounding like a chipmunk. He grunted a thank you before waving her off. He hadn't seen his parents since he ran off yesterday after they threatened to send him away again.
Their words were empty to him. He wasn't too worried as if they did threaten to send him away again he would just stay at a fellow pack memebers house. He made his way up the stairs to his father's office. With a quick nod he walked in to see his mother and father waiting for him.
"Where the hell were you?! I had people looking everywhere for you"! His mother cried lightly wiping away some of her fallen tears. He loved his mother more than anything and to see her so upset made him curse himself.
"I'm sorry mom... I just went for a run. I needed to get control of my wolf I'm sorry I scared you" Wesley said pulling his petite mother in his arms. She gently petted his cheek as she slightly sniffled.
They finally sat down, his mother refusing to let go of his hand. "There are a few things we need to discuss about your future. Before you object to anything just hear us out" his father says leaning against his desk.
"You are going to be the future alpha of this pack. Which you cannot do alone so me and your mother feel it would be best to take up a mate... maybe even arrange for you to meet some of the pack girls" his fathers voice boomed throughout the room.
Wesley could feel the oncoming rage within his body. "I'm not looking for a mate right now. And even if I were it will be on my terms. This is exactly what I mean you are trying to control my life" he said roughly.
"We just want you to be happy. And werewolves your age start looking for a mate anyway. Your seventeen Wesley sooner or later you will have to find someone" his mother chimed in gently caressing his hand.
"There is no rush at the moment but I do think you should start looking around. In fact there is one girl who is interested" his father says yelling come in and to his surprise a smiling Lauren walks in.
"Why is Lauren here"? Confused Welsey looked to his father who gave him a stoic look.
"Lauren here was informed as were the other girls in the pack that you are actively looking for a mate. I'd like you two to spend sometime together" his mother squealed sending him a wink.
And for the rest of the day she followed him around like a lost puppy. He couldn't escape her no matter how hard he tried. She even waited for him outside the bathroom door! Lauren was an attractive girl which anyone could admit but she just wasn't what he was looking for.
And he preferred blondes not brunettes.
He had accompanied her to guard the pack borders tonight. She talked his ear off and he had stopped paying attention a long time ago. "Wow it's a beautiful night I'm glad we could do this together" she gleamed with happiness.
"Uh... sure"
They began walking closer to the borders when Wesley spotted something. "Stay back... I'm gonna check out the area" he warned her before getting a closer look. It was a good thing werewolves had good eye vision especially during nighttime.
As he walked closer he could see several tents set up across the border. A large gate separated the territories, but as he looked through it he could see a bunch of people had set up camp.
"Those look like hunters! Wesley we need to go back... the alpha needs to know about this" ! Lauren whisper yelled in slight panic. Hunters absolutely despised werewolves and it's been said that some even teamed up with vampires to wipe out the entire werewolf race.
But from his understanding they had moved to different parts of the world a long time ago. What were they doing here? Just then two people walked out from a tent, he grabbed Lauren ducking behind some trees.
They wore traditional hunting clothes. A large pistol hanged across their body and they looked as if they hadn't eaten in days. "Wesley we need to leave... now! If they figure out we are he-"
"Will you shut it! I'm trying to listen" he growled lowly which instantly shut her up. He focused his attention back on the two hunters, they talked about moving soon but didn't exactly say where. He was shocked to see a few vampires hanging around the area as well.
A tall women with strong features and dark black ivory hair diverged their attention. Her red eyes indicated she was a vampire as her pale skin gleamed against the moonlight. She spoke with authority demanding attention.
But what shocked him the most was the next words that came out of her mouth.
"We need to get moving. People will get suspicious and we don't have time before the storm actually begins"...
