"Sara!" I called across the house, grabbing my coat. "Kyle!" Sara, who shared Maya's red hair and blue eyes, and Kyle, who shared my messy blonde hair, but much shorter, both rushed into the room at the mention of their names. "I thought we couldn't go to work with you," Kyle said, cocking his head to the side. "I got a new job," I explained. "Oh! What is it?" Sara asked. "I'm joining a band," I replied, handing them their coats. "And we get to come?!" Kyle exclaimed. "Yes," I said, opening the door. We all stepped out into the cold and walked to where we'd all met the other day - Jio and Connor's home. Ross (that guitarist slash cosmologist girl who I was really starting to dislike) was the one to greet us at the door. "Hey," she said. "Hi." "The others are setting up in the back," she said, motioning behind her. I could hear Jio say, "Testing, testing," into a mic. I, with Sara and Kyle in my arms, walked back behind.
