They ran to the apartment and barged in. The squad immediately sensed something wrong when they saw Ester with Liam and Nico. Ester threw their phones and they all caught their phone. Ester nodded at them,

"Viper, Five"

Their eyes widened and Nikki nodded,

"Okay, Snipes, you get all the ammo you can find from our stuff. Climber you pull up a map. Cannon, you start packing some med stuff. Sling you help get all the ammo from the secret spaces. Flare and I will start a plan. Cadets, help Climber map everything up, you just left base today to give us our phone,"

Everyone nodded and started getting ready and did as they were told. Nikki nodded at Ester,

"Okay, so what are you sensing?"

Ester ran a hand through her hair,

"That's the thing, it's a bad sense...I don't want it to be true,"

Nikki looked at her in worry and Ester looked at Nikki and leaned in closer to her to whisper,

"We were betrayed by a cadet,"

Nikki's eyes widened in shock,

"What?"

Ester nodded solemnly,

"Think about it. Shadis started thinking about there being a mole ever since we were attacked by the Germans, there was no way they could have found out that we were in Forest Hills otherwise. That bomb that nearly killed us? Dude...the attack on us from the enemy stopped minutes before the bomb, the enemy was attacking the other forces. And now, Shadis and Chicago are compromised,"

Nikki gasped,

"Flare...it's not one of the Zeons...is it?"

Ester shook her head immediately,

"No. We know those kids better than anyone else. Plus, the spy would not have wanted to save us from Derek, even if they were gonna try to blend in."

Nikki nodded and ran a hand up and down her arms,

"So what's the plan?"

Ester sighed,

"Ace, we gotta find out who the spy is. Once we do, we can unravel who is trying to get us killed,"

Nikki nodded,

"Do you think Zeon will have their phones still?"

Ester shrugged and took out her phone and texted Xavier:

Commander Mom: Xavier?

Ester nodded at Nikki,

"Now we just gotta hope,"

Nikki sighed and nodded,

"Yeah. Okay, so we gotta think of a way to get all of the cadets in on this plan. First, we gotta get to New Zeon and we gotta work together to find out who the traitor is. We can get some smoke bombs in there, get people pretending like it was training gone wrong, that way we can sneak in undetected."

Ester smiled and nodded,

"Yeah, okay that's plan A. We gotta get to Shadis first because he was the one that the traitor knows contacted me. The good thing is they won't be expecting us at all. Shadis may still be in his tent. I don't think the traitor would have taken over the camp. Shadis said five days to get there, he must know that they are planning something big against Chicago so we need all of the cadets good to fight. Which might not be the greatest but they have us and New Zeon,"

Nikki nodded. Liam walked out,

"Commander, we are all done,"

Ester nodded,

"Thanks, Diason. Get everyone out here with everything we have." 

Liam nodded. In ten minutes, everyone was out in the living room surrounded by bags. Javier nodded,

"We have ten grenades, thirty smoke bombs, 12 pistols each have forty strips, Snipes has his sniper with twenty-four rounds, we have fifty-six throwing knives, twenty-eight ninja stars, Ace has her three decks of cards, three slingshots, one portable canon with five rounds but it's heavy so if we use up all of the rounds too quick that will suck, thirteen grappling hooks, each of us have our suits and helmets, and three nunchucks."

Liam and Nico stared at the squad in mild shock at how heavy their artillery actually is for such a small apartment. Quin pointed to the med pack,

"We have enough medical supplies for a small army of thirty soldiers,"

Ester smirked,

"Good, Climber, you're up,"

Billy smiled slightly and nodded before taking out the map,

"Okay, so we have a big space for training, the most hidden place is the small field made to practice combat training with nature. Not everyone knows about it because it is more for the special training of squads, Nico and Liam both told me that only a few people know it exists outside their squad, the perfect beginning of the attack would be there. We have the mess hall tent in the middle of everything, the training dummies are in the same spot. Now, Shadis's tent is one clique out from the camp itself, he recently moved it after we were taken by the Germans. Not many cadets go to his tent, right now they are training themselves to see how independent they can be out in the real world. They are all pretty good now since we last trained the whole group instead of New Zeon only. We got thirty tents all housing 3-5 cadets."

Liam looked Ester,

"We only have one person living by himself, Kevin Anderson, he is the oldest of us cadets,"

Ester shared a quick look with Nikki. She looked at Liam,

"What is he like?"

Nico shrugged,

"We don't know much about him since he came late, he is pretty independent, but everyone knows him and are chill with him,"

Liam nodded,

"Yeah, he's reserved but also like nice to us,"

Nikki sighed,

"How good is he with training?"

Liam shrugged,

"We barely see him training, he trains by himself mostly, but he seems very very good,"

Nico nodded,

"Yeah, I'm shocked that he hasn't been picked to train with a special squad,"

Ester facepalmed,

"Shadis knew this whole time,"

Everyone looked at her in slight confusion. Ester looked at Nikki with slight pain in her eyes,

"He knew this whole time...he suspected Anderson since he came. Ace, he's been keeping an eye on Anderson. Then Anderson found out that Shadis caught onto him, that's why the plan has been set into motion...Shadis knew this was gonna happen, that's why he told us to stay in Queens for a while...why he said that he's gonna need help soon but not right now...he knew this whole fucking time....ever since Anderson came into Chicago he suspected something was off, but it was only confirmed when we got kidnapped by the Germans."

Everyone gapped and Ester sighed. Then she heard a ding and looked at her phone:

Cadet Oldest: Mom? Can I call you

Ester frowned slightly. Everyone stared at her and she called Xavier.

"Xav-"

"Mom, we need help,"

"What happened? Where are you?"

"Shadis texted me a few minutes ago telling me to grab as much as I can and run with my team,"

Ester sighed in relief,

"Is everyone with you?"

"Yeah, Peter is carrying most of the weapons, and Jax and Troy are both carrying electronics or supplies,"

Ester looked at her squad who was looking at her intently,

"Xavier, Chicago is compromised, Shadis helped you get out right in time, we don't know what's gonna happen in Chicago right now, but hurry and get to Queens. Hi-jack a jet and get Peter to fly. Good job,"

"Thanks, Commander,"

"Just get here in one piece,"

"Yes, mother,"

Ester hung up and looked at her squad and two boys,

"New Zeon got out, Shadis texted them to get out and grab supplies on the way out. I doubt Anderson will fully realize since he's gonna be worrying about his own thing,"

Everyone sighed in relief. Nico frowned,

"What about everyone else?"

Ester sighed,

"I don't know Nico, I really don't,"

Nico frowned in worry and Liam wrapped an arm around him in comfort. Ester sighed,

"Alright, we have our plans, so let's wait for the rest to get here and then take shifts in sleeping,"

Everyone agreed. They all sat around the table in the living room. It took forty minutes of gentle chatter before the bell rang and Ester answered it with a gun behind her back just in case. She sighed in relief when she saw the four cadets that made up the rest of the New Zeon squad. She smiled and grabbed the bags from them,

"Go get some water and sit around the table,"

They nodded tiredly and Ester put the stuff in the kitchen and they all sat down. Nikki gently explained the situation that they were all in and they all reacted with shock. Jax sighed,

"That bitch,"

Ester wrapped an arm around his shoulder,

"It's gonna be fine,"

He just sighed and nodded. Ester nodded at her squad and apprentices,

"I'll stay up, everyone get some sleep, wake up at four for sprints,"

Everyone paired up and went into a room. Javier looked at Ester,

"Flare, are you alright?'

Ester sighed and shrugged,

"Sling, I don't want Shadis to get hurt,"

Javier smiled sadly at her,

"Shadis is strong, he will survive like the rest of them,"

Ester smiled and nodded,

"Thanks,"

Javier smiled and laid down on the couch,

"You are very welcome,"

Ester raised an eyebrow at him,

"What are you doin?"

Javier winked at her,

"Keeping you company,"

Ester rolled her eyes but said nothing, just staring at the door.
