The next day

       Ester decided to just spend the day at her apartment with her team. Then she was gonna hang out with Justin a little bit after he finishes work, which she got teased for doing by her teammates. Javier nudged her,

    "Stay safe, don't talk to strangers, don't kiss him,"

    Quin smirked,

    "And if you do, kiss and tell,"

     Ester blushed and glared at them,

    "I hate both of you,"

    The two boys laughed. Nikki rolled her eyes at them,

    "Ignore those idiots, just have fun Flare, you deserve it,"

     Ester smiled at Nikki and hugged her,

    "Thanks, Ace,"

     Ester left the apartment and Nikki whacked Javier and Quin,

    "OW!"

    Nikki glared at them,

    "Stop teasing the poor girl, she has had a crush on this guy for yeaaars. She finally got some confidence in her to hang out with him,"

    Damion walked into the living room and shrugged,

    "We just want to protect her Ace,"

    Nikki smiled at them,

    "I know, but Snipes, Flare will be fine,"

    Damion sighed and nodded,

    "Fine fine,"

With Ester

     Ester walked to just outside the tennis club where she was hugged by Lee, Alesia, and Alexa,

    "ESTER!"

     Ester laughed and hugged them back,

    "Hey, girls,"

    Lee smiled,

    "I'm happy that you are okay,"

    Alesia nodded,

    "We were so worried,"

     Ester smiled,

    "Eh, don't stress about it, I'm alive,"

    Nicholas smirked as he walked up to the girl and hugged her,

    "Which we are very happy to know,"

     Ester chuckled and smiled at them,

    "Thank you for the furniture,"

    They smiled at her, Lee nudged her,

    "So, what are you doing here?"

     Ester blushed lightly and shrugged,

    "Uh, Justin asked if I wanted to hang out with him after he finished and I said sure,"

    Lee smirked and shared a look with the others while Ester remained oblivious. Alesia shrugged,

    "Well, I'm sure it will be tons of fun,"

     Ester shrugged,

    "It better be,"

    She then heard running and turned to see Liam and Nico running to her. Lee smiled hugely,

    "LIAM!"

    Liam laughed and hugged the excited adult,

    "Hi, Lee!"

      Ester smiled at the innocent encounter. Lee smiled brightly,

    "You have to visit more! I missed you,"

    Liam smirked,

    "I saw you yesterday,"

    Alexa laughed and Lee dramatically sighed,

    "Yesterday feels like years ago,"

    Liam laughed and looked at Ester brightly,

    "Ester, we got the phones,"

      Ester smiled brightly at the ecstatic teenager,

    "Nice!"

    Liam and Nico handed her six phones, Nico smiled,

    "These phones have our numbers on them too! So like now we can stay in touch, all of us,"

      Ester smiled and ruffled his hair,

    "That's awesome."

    Then Massimo and Justin came out and saw the two younger boys. Massimo smiled,

    "Hey, Liam and Nico,"

    Liam smiled at Massimo,

    "Hey, Mass and Justin,"

    Nico did a simple wave. Then Ester realized something,

    "Nicooooo, how did it go?!"

    Nico immediately blushed beet red and Ester smiled hugely. Nico smiled gently,

    "Aster and I are dating,"

    Everyone held their ears and Ester squealed and grabbed the younger boy and spun him around in excitement. Nico yelled out in shock and was put down after a 360 turn. Ester hugged him tightly,

    "Oh my gosh! My baby is all grown up!"

    Nico blushed even more and swatted her hand away from his hair,

    "Esteerrrrrrrrrr,"

    Everyone was too busy looking at them in amusement. Ester smirked,

    "Did y'all kiss?"

    Nico blushed even more and hid his face behind his hands,

    "Mommmm,"

      Ester laughed and ruffled his hair again,

    "Okay okay, I'll stop."

    Nico looked up at her and sighed,

    "You really live up to your title,"

     Ester shrugged,

    "I gotta,"

    Liam smirked,    

    "You shoulda seen him last night,"

    Nico blushed even more,

    "Liam!"

     Ester smirked,

    "Oh, do tell,"

    Lee laughed,

    "Awwww, Nico got a little date,"

    Nico groaned,

    "I hate people again,"

     Ester laughed,

    "Nico finally got the guts to confess to his crush Aster, and Aster said he likes him back!"

    Nico pouted as everyone smiled at him. Lee hugged him and ruffled his hair,

    "I am so happy for you!"

    Nico grumbled and fixed his hair,

    "Why does everyone love messing with my hair?!"

    Liam smirked,

    "It is rather easy,"

    Nico rolled his eyes,

    "Whatever, let's just get back,"

      Ester smirked,

    "You better text me. Kiss and tell Nee!"

    Nico blushed again,

    "I hate you,"

     Ester smirked and nudged him,

    "No, you don't"

    Nico sighed and grumbled while Ester smiled widely at him,

    "Come on Neeee,"

    Nico sighed and nodded,

    "Love you too, mom,"

     Ester smiled and kissed his cheek,

    "Stay alive kiddo, see you next time we go to Chicago,"

    Liam smiled hugely,

    "You are coming back?"

      Ester smirked,

    "Someone's gotta train your team as the new us, what better people than us?"

    Liam smiled and hugged her,

    "Thanks, mum,"

     Ester smiled and ruffled his hair,

    "Anytime, Liam. Now both of you go, it's gonna be late by the time you get to Chicago,"

    Nico and Liam smiled and nodded before saluting and leaving. Massimo watched the kids go and turned to Ester,

    "Did they call you mom?"

    Now everyone looked at her and she blushed,

    "Uhhhh....yeah?"

    Massimo raised an eyebrow at her,

    "So...am I an uncle?"

    Everyone laughed when Ester punched him. Then she got a phone call coming through her phone,

    "One sec,"

    They nodded and she walked out of earshot from them. Lee nudged Justin,

    "Enjoy the date,"

    Justin blushed as she left. Ester answered the call,

"Randor,"

"Ester, it is really good to hear your voice again,"

Ester smiled hugely,

"Shadis!"

"How are you doing?"

"Don't worry Shadis, I'm all good. Everyone is fine,"

"Good, I'm sorry about this kid, if I could, I would make sure that you guys were never bothered again,"

Ester frowned,

"Do you have a mission, sir?"

"Not yet....there might be one coming up within the next few weeks,"

Ester sighed,

"I understand,"

"Ester, listen to me,"

"I am,"

"Something is going on with the higher-ups...I can feel it. Be careful and watch your five. Make sure you are never alone, tell everyone else that too."

      Ester frowned deeply,

"Shadis, what do you mean by that?"

"I don't know yet...but I think there is an infiltration,"

      Ester frowned even more,

"What kind of infiltration we talkin bout?"

"Commander...Five-O, I think I'm wrong anyway...but just take care Spitfire,"

      Ester gasped and hung up and ran a shaky hand through her hair. Chicago is compromised. She walked up to Justin and he frowned in worry at seeing her stress. Justin grabbed her arm,

    "Hey, what happened?"

     Ester looked at him,

    "Chicago.....it's compromised,"

    Her eyes widened,

    "Oh my god! Liam and Nico!"

    She called Liam,

"He-"

"LIAM! Where are you?!"

"We just got to the airport to fly to Chicago,"

"NO! Get back here right this second,"

"Why? What happened?"

"Chicago is compromised,"

"Wh-what? What do you mean?"

      Ester sighed,

"Shadis just called me and told me. Someone must have infiltrated the military and was after someone...Chicago is not safe. We get there in five days but until then, you gotta get back here okay? I'm gonna wait here for you two and we are gonna go to the apartment,"

"What about-"

"They are gonna be fine. The person would not try killing anyone, in a place full of cadets, that would be risky. Shadis is the only one in danger,"

"Shadis?!"

      Ester sighed at the thought,

"Yes, he's the one who told me we were compromised,"

"Our team is fine though?"

      Ester frowned in worry,

"Yes, Shadis would never let anyone get hurt,"

"But...what if-"

"No. No what-ifs. Get back here and that's an order Cadet, my team has a protocol for this,"

"Alright, Commander Spitfire,"

"Now just hurry back, drag Cadet Di-Angelo if you have to,"

"Alright, on our way...Eta 10 min,"

      Ester sighed and hung up. Justin looked at her in pure worry,

    "Ester?"

    Ester looked at Justin and sighed,

    "I'm sorry Justin,"

    Justin shook his head,

    "Don't do that to yourself, I already know the answer to this...but is there any way I can help?"

     Ester sighed and shook her head,

    "Sorry Justin...protocol is protocol,"

    Justin smiled sadly at her and nodded,    

    "I know,"

      Ester smiled sadly at him and he pulled her into a tight hug. Ester was shocked but hugged him back. They separated and Justin moved a hair out of her face,

    "Just...please be careful,"

     Ester smiled softly and nodded,

    "I will,"

    Justin smiled softly,

    "Just come home to us,"

     Ester blushed slightly and nodded. She turned to see her two cadets sprinting faster than ever to her. Liam saluted her,

    "Commander,"

    Nico was next,

    "Commander,"

      Ester smiled softly and put a hand on their shoulder and looked them in the eye,

    "Cadet Diason and Di'Angelo, we will get everyone out of that place safely, we will save them,"

    Liam sighed,

    "Commander, we have none of our weapons, Nico and I came with our guns,"

    Nico smirked,

    "I mean, I did sneak a few of my knives onto the plane,"

      Ester chuckled at them,

    "Cadets, do you really think my squad would go anywhere without weapons?"

    The two shrugged. Justin watched in shock as she pulled out twin guns from her pant pockets and then reached down and showed them sleeves of throwing knives around her ankles. Liam laughed,

    "True professional,"

    Justin raised an eyebrow at her,

    "You were gonna bring guns and knives to eat ice cream?"

    Nico frowned at the fact that Ester finally was gonna hang out with Justin outside of work and this happens. Ester smirked,

    "You never know,"

    Justin shrugged,

    "Just go save Chicago,"

      Ester laughed and before she could do anything, Justin kissed her cheek and left. Liam smirked,

    "So, mom, care to explain?"

     Ester blushed and shoved the two smirking boys,

    "Shut up,"

    They laughed again. Ester smiled softly,

    "Come on kids, we have tons of work to do over five days,"

    Liam raised an eyebrow,

    "Five days?"

     Ester nodded,

    "Yeah, Shadis told me to attack in five days,"

    Nico raised an eyebrow,

    "He said that when he knew someone was watching him?"

     Ester smirked,

    "You forget, Cadet, you are dealing with an officer who served many many years and someone who he trained for two. We have our own code words,"

    Liam shrugged,

    "Alright,"
