Liam just woke up at four on the couch covered in blankets that Justin's parents gave him. Massimo was on an air mattress in Justin's room. Liam could have slept in Justin's room with them but he wanted to be alone for the night. Justin's parents were really kind and understanding towards both guys. Then Liam heard his phone going off and saw Shadis was calling him,

"Hello?"

"Liam! They were found."

Liam's eyes widened,

"Really?! Shadis you better not be joking!"

"Kid, some woman saw them walking out of a forest outside the city. They are in Northshore hospital right now,"

"Everyone is alright?"

"They all took a beating, but they will survive,"

Liam smiled hugely,

"Okay okay. I'm gonna come over. Can I bring Justin and Massimo?"

"Of course, you can kid, just hurry over here, I know how worried you were,"

Liam hung up and ran into Justin's room. He burst in and Justin and Massimo yelled out in shock. Liam smiled hugely,

"They found them!"

Justin and Massimo immediately jumped out of the beds. Massimo smiled at Liam,

"You sure?"

Liam nodded excitedly,

"Yeah! Shadis just called me, they are at Northshore hospital,"

Justin smiled,

"I know that hospital, I'll drive us,"

The three got shoes on and ran out to take his car to the hospital.

At the Hospital

Shadis was waiting in the waiting room to hear from the doctors about his teams. He turned when he heard running and smiled slightly when he saw Liam running to him quickly followed by Massimo and Justin. Liam grabbed his arm,

"Where are they?"

Shadis sighed,

"The dragons are all in the emergency room. Your squad and Jesse are getting checkups, and you should too,"

Liam frowned,

"I'm fine,"

Shadis gave him a look,

"Liam, I know you hurt yourself. I saw you wincing. Now, go get yourself checked out,"

Liam sighed and nodded,

"Alright,"

Shadis watched him go to the reception desk and be led into another room. Massimo looked at Shadis,

"How is she?"

Shadis sighed,

"I have no idea. The doctors haven't left the emergency yet to update me,"

Massimo frowned. Justin put a hand on his shoulder,

"She'll be fine Massimo,"

Shadis nodded,

"That girl is the most stubborn soldier I have ever met. She will survive,"

Massimo sighed and nodded. Then a doctor left a room and walked up to Shadis,

"Jesse Nill will be perfectly fine, she has a cut on her forehead and a bruised arm from the fall but she is rather unscathed. She wanted to help with the other two squads but we advise against it because she looks exhausted,"

Shadis smiled fondly,

"Yes, that's Jesse. Can she come out here?"

The doctor nodded,

"She is getting changed right now and will be out soon."

Shadis nodded,

"And the others?"

The doctor sighed,

"I have not heard anything about the older squad because all of them are still in the ER. Xavier McCoy has a minor concussion as well as a sprained left wrist and has been stitched up on his left bicep. Peter Quill has two broken ribs and a small concussion. Troy Liason and Jax Dickson both have a gash on their foreheads along with sprained wrists. Nico Di-Angelo has a big concussion, we had to take some small shrapnel shards out of both of his legs and his right arm and stitched him up. That's all I know,"

Shadis frowned sadly but nodded,

"Thank you,"

Massimo patted Shadis' shoulder,

"They will be fine,"

Shadis smiled and nodded,

"They will."

Jesse came rushing out and glared at Shadis,

"Shadis, tell them I can help them with the teams,"

Shadis put his hands on her shoulders,

"Jesse, you need rest,"

Jesse shook her head,

"What I need is to help my family,"

Massimo smiled softly at her,

"Hello,"

Jesse finally realized that she and Shadis weren't alone. She smiled at Massimo brightly,

"Oh my god! You're Massimo! Spitfire's twin, it's so nice to meet you."

She shook his hand and he laughed,

"Nice to meet you too, Jesse,"

Jesse smiled brightly at him. Then she seemed to realize something,

"Wait...Shadis! You are alright!"

The three guys laughed as Jesse hugged Shadis,

"Oh my god, we were worried that your plane crashed too! Wait! Where is Liam?!"

Shadis smiled at her,

"He is alright, he is getting checked up on right now. Our plane did crash but we were able to get everything out,"

Jesse sighed in relief,

"Good,"

She turned to Justin,

"Sorry, didn't catch your name,"

Justin chuckled,

"My name is Justin,"

Jesse's eyes widened,

"Oh! You are lover boy!"

Justin blushed while Shadis and Massimo looked at the two in amusement. Justin looked at her in confusion,

"What?"

Jesse rolled her eyes,

"You would be surprised by how much you hear in the infirmary. Anyway, Ester did talk a lot about her friends whenever she would get hurt and come see me...which happened quite often,"

Massimo sighed,

"Of course it did,"

Jesse laughed,

"Don't worry too much Massimo...anyway yeah,"

Shadis looked at her,

"How bad?"

Jesse sighed,

"I didn't have much time to look over them fully...but it did not look pretty,"

Shadis sighed,

"I figured,"

Jesse smiled at him weakly. Shadis smiled sadly at her and put his hand on her shoulder,

"Jesse, it's not your fault."

Jesse shook her head and let a tear fall,

"Shadis, I coulda done more though, I should have done more. Maybe if I had some of my supplies after the crash, maybe they would have been in a better position. Shadis...I know their bodies better than those doctors in there. I know all of the medicine that didn't quite work the best with them. I want to help them,"

Shadis sighed and carefully pulled her into a hug and she finally broke down and started crying. Shadis sighed sadly and hugged her tighter. Massimo and Justin watched them sadly. Shadis patted her head,

"Jesse, you need some rest if you want to help them. You have worn yourself out...they are still gonna be here when you wake up,"

Jesse sighed and nodded,

"Fine, but I'm sleeping on a chair,"

Shadis chuckled,

"Yeah, I wouldn't expect anything less,"

Jesse smiled and sadly nodded at Massimo and Justin before sitting down in a chair and falling asleep. Massimo looked at Jesse,

"Is she gonna be alright?"

Shadis sighed and nodded,

"Jesse has gotten attached to your twin's squad because Ester started training around the same time Jesse started working in the infirmary. They got closer and then Ester got on the special ops and Jesse got closer to her squad. They treat each other like family. Jesse always feels better and less stressed about their health when she is the one healing them,"

Massimo and Justin nodded. Shadis nodded at the chairs,

"You two should sit back down and rest a bit, you must have just woken up,"

Justin and Massimo nodded their heads.
