Chat? (Edited)
Marinette chewed softly on the tip of the eraser of her charcoal pencil. She was completely consumed by her new clothing line she was drawing. She sighed contently, finally setting down her pencil and rubbing her aching hand. She hadn't realised it hurt until now.
"Wow Marinette! Your very talented," Tikki, Marinette's kwami gushed. Marinette blushed.
"Thank you, Tikki, I'm working very hard on this one. Alya made it evident it has to be perfect. And she can be VERY stubborn, so no way I'll get away with anything but perfection." She sighed and leaned back in her chair. Alya wanted a dress for all the girls in the class, and a tuxedo for all the boys. Why? She had no clue. But she didn't want to let her best friend down.
"I love-" A loud crash interrupted Tikki's words. Tikki squeaked and hid in a drawer, her eyes peeping out. Marinette, nothing more than startled, slowly stood up and walked to the trap door leading to her balcony. The moment she opened it, she shrieked and fell backwards, a certain blonde kitty falling on top of her.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Marinette screamed, her body now pressed between her carpet and Chat Noir's leather suit.
"Who knew the princess had such a mouth on her," he smirked, not getting off. Marinette blushed and covered her mouth with her hand.
"C-can you g-get off of m-me please?" She asked sweetly. Chat grinned and stood up, offering her his hand to help her up. She accepted. He brought her hand to his lips, but she quickly pulled it away.
"What are you doing here kit- Chat Noir?" She asked, her eyebrows furrowed together. "Can I help you?"
"Actually, Princess, I was just on potroll, when I saw a poor old lady getting mugged. And I, being the great, brave, chivalrous-"
"And humble, too," Marinette interupted, amused.
"Hush, I'm telling you my heroic tale!" He posed 'heroically'. Marinette laughed lightly.
"Anyway, I swooped I'm saved her, and in my desperate attempt to escape, I got thrown upon your roof." He wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "So, then you got the privilege of seeing me, Princess." Marinette rolled her eyes, shrugging off his shoulder.
"May I get the real story?"
"Nope."
"Well... are you hungry or something?" Marinette got up, heading out to the bakery when he grinned and nodded. It was then he realized all the pictures of him- well, Adrien- were gone. He wondered why, but didn't think much of it. Maybe she was just embarrassed when everyone saw them all on TV.
"I'm back, do you like chocolate chip scones?" Marinette's sweet voice called, and he smirked at her.
"From you, of course," he grabbed one from her plate. From the corner of her eye, she saw his tail- well, belt- and smirked slightly. She couldn't let him get away with practically tackling her, could she? She reached for it and tugged not-so-gently and laughed when he toppled backwards, his scone falling. His laid on the ground, his eyes wide. Did Marinette just- sweet Mari-
"It was payback for falling on me," she shrugged. Chat's smirk widened.
"I guess my princess isn't as innocent as I once thought, huh?"
