"I can't believe this, how can she take her life for granted." A very familiar voice muttered in anger.

"I told you, you should have informed her," Tibran answered him.

My eyes were open but my mouth was parched and no sound came out. The arm that was injured was numb and heavy.

"She could have died." The fear in his voice made me feel guilty.

But I wanted to defend myself as well. I was here worried he might have been hurt too.

I gathered all my energy and called out to him merely managing to make a squeaking noise.

At least it got their attention.

"Liahna, you are awake," Ivor said with a deep sigh and rushed next to me.

He was not wearing his mask and only other person present was Tibran.

"T-?" I managed to croak but no more words came out

"She is fine, exhausted but fine." He answered my broken question.

Tibran got me water which I chugged down to relieve my parched throat.

"it's the heavy medicine side effect. You will difficulty speaking for a few hours." Ivor cleared as I tried speaking again.

I glared at him to convey my anger.

I jabbed a finger at his chest and raised my eyebrows.

It was kind of wonderful how understood by mere gestures.

"I was minimizing the damage. The white Magic Kingdom heard the news and I have been handling the troops sent to kill you while also trying to see what Henley has been up to so that I can alert other Kingdoms about him and shift attention from you to him."

I was still glaring at him so he sighed and shook his head a little," I assume you know how powerful I am. You running from the palace was not a smart move." 

I felt like yelling my thoughts out that if he was in my place what would he have done,  I have no one left except him and that I was also powerful enough even though I didn't know what power I had and how to control it.

But the anger made my eyes water and he looked slightly guilty.

Tibran just stood there enjoying my torture with a useless attempt at holding his amused smile.

I tried talking but barely got a letter out so I turned my head away from him trying to convey that I was annoyed at him and he needed to work to get my forgiveness.

"I need a moment alone with her." He said in a strict tone which made the traitor Tibran bow slightly and leave me with him.

"Liahna look at me." He said but I didn't.

He came closer and grabbed my hands making my heart speed up but I still didn't look at him.

His thumbs caressed my palm and it felt soothing for some reason.

"If I lose you, I lose everything." He said and I had to turn to look at him.

I sighed completely defeated by this man everyone feared.

I pointed at myself and gave him a shrug trying to tell him then what about me? It was same for me.

"I freaked out, you were bleeding too much and your breathing was too slow." He explained the cause of his anger.

I pulled my hands away from his and got up on my knees, biting back the wince caused by the sharp pain in my injured arm.

He seemed surprised at my movement and a little worried but before he could nag me like a parent I cupped his cheek and kissed him softly on lips. Even then he carefully raised his arms to my waist making sure not to touch my injuries and pulled me a little closer deepening the kiss.

Due to my wounded self and lack of energy, I broke the kiss growing shot of breath quickly. But there was a small smile on his lips.

"Are you going to do this every time we argue my wife?" He said and the official declaration of my wife'  made me blush instantly.

I glared at him again to hide my embarrassment and he came forward too fast making me close my eyes and he kissed over my eyelids.

"Damn woman, you make me feel emotions." He said as it surprised him.

"You look adorable when you are glaring at me."

As I said, this man had me defeated so I sighed and just sat there looking at him and his beautiful indigo eyes.

"You need more rest till you recover. And then we train." He said and I nodded not in a state to ask questions in my head.

"He is banished by the way," Tibran said as we walked through the markets of Henley's Kingdom.

We were hiding right under enemies nose.

As per Ivor's information, something big was going to happen but he wouldn't tell me because he was not sure of it yet.

"What?!" I yelled a little louder and caught the attention of people around.

"Calm down beautiful," Tibran smirked.

"From his home because he didn't kill me?" I confirmed the dreadful thought.

"Yes. You will cause a big war and logically you should be dead." He said making me frown at him.

"But he is too deep in love to see the logic and you kind of not seem the one to favor war."

"I already caused it," I said and he sharply turned towards me.

"Well, I sabotaged Sorceress of Mountain's wedding with the Prince."

But Tibran just laughed a hearty laugh.

"What did I say about staying away from my wife?" Ivor joined us from out of nowhere disguised with a beard and cloth wrapped around his head.

His clothes were tattered and faded and even then he looked good.

"What did I say about him being one of my few friends?" I countered and he groaned.

"Others might have been dead by now for talking like this," Tibran said always amused at me and Ivor.

 "Why are we here in the market?" I asked trying to change the topic.

"Spy from the court will be meeting me here," Ivor said keeping an eye out for anything suspicious.

"And?" I asked because I needed more reasons than that for him staying here for ten days.

"And he will give us an update about happenings inside the palace."

"You have been here for ten days and I have been worried sick, explain more Prince." I snapped.

He sighed obviously agitated.

"You were the safest in Nevarlia because no one dared attack the Kingdom directly. But out here you are vulnerable." He scolded me and I scoffed.

"So are you and you got banished because of me. when were you going to tell me?" I contradicted him.

"Wolf can't keep his mouth shut." He practically growled the words out.

We kept walking suddenly a cart in front of us came to a stop and a lot of sacks fell on the ground.

"Oh Lord, I will be late"

"I will help you out," Ivor said out of his nature and starting picking up the sack.

I moved forward but he stopped me, "It's heavy."

"You should have thought about my fragility before you trained me for hours," I said still angry at him for being so secretive.

"It's a wedding proposal." The cart driver said and I realized why Ivor was pretending to help out of his nature.

"By whom?" He asked as he picked up another like it weighed nothing.

"To the Sorceress of the mountain, she is planning to rage war on your Kingdom and Queen wants to join hands." He said and the sacks were back in place.

Ivor subtly slipped a gold piece in his hand and he left.

"Henley and Avira," I said wincing at imagination.

"This is happening because of me," I mumbled as we started walking.

An enhancer with a powerful Sorceress will cause destruction and bloodshed.

"Liahna, are you listening to me?" Ivor almost shook me back to senses.

"We need the sword."

"We need an army," Tibran said and Ivor nodded.

"Leave the sword, for now, we have to train you first to yield it." He said with full confidence in me and that I was the one to yield. 

But I was not confident enough because he didn't know how I felt when I used the powers.

"I will try and convince the King," Tibran said.

"Will the White Kingdom not target me now?" I asked feeling guilty of having their own Prince banished.

"They have to find you first and for that, I have found you - I mean found us a safe place," he said gradually sharing what he had been doing for the past ten days.

"And that is?"

"Where no one dares to enter, Forest of the Black Phoenix." He said with a crooked smile on his face.

As I remembered meeting him as Healer and feeling broken by the betrayal.

"Good times," I said sarcastically.

"Don't remind me."

"But didn't Henley came there for the hunt?" I said reminding him.

"You have not seen the entire forest yet Princess."

So I was going to train again in a secluded area with the Dark Prince, it was so not good for my heart and mind.
