(30) Together

Soleil

Neoma, Flora, Fauna and the King of Spring call for me to push further and the edge of the woods almost come to an end. The beach, where I first met Damira almost in reach. My soul mate waiting for me. I know she is, I can feel that small thread hanging tight.

My paws hitting the hardened earth now press into softer sand, the smell of salty sea filled my senses. Homer growls low at my heels, snapping with his jaws in anger. Neoma guides us away from his attacks, eyeing the rogues following closely behind.

A sudden loud familiar howl in the wind sends Neoma wild, Damira's name reaching past her growl. She's waiting for me.

The blur of trees move faster and suddenly, the sight of the beach comes into reach. My wolfen grin spreads wide as I find my pack awaiting for my arrival, the big bad Alpha standing in the middle. "Damira!" I call through our bond, the thread tugging harder. The faeries sitting upon my fur rise off me, a sudden shift rippling through my skin, my human form releasing a high pitched wail of joy. My naked form wraps around Damiras fluffy wolf.

"Damira..." I sob into her wolfs fur, my face buried. Her familiar warmth and scent. Damira shifts, her arms wrapping themselves around me, her whisper of calming words sooth the sobs shaking my naked form. I missed her so much. I missed feeling her, bond and everything.

"Its okay, sweetheart. I'm here now," she coos, caressing her hand softly up and down my back. I press further into her, never wanting to leave. "My beautiful, human isn't human anymore." She chuckles against my hair. I smile softly.

"I think I would of wanted you to bite me, instead of Homer." Damira hums, hands tightening against my waist.

We stay clutched together, comforting each other. The bond we share has strengthened, much more powerful then before. I couldn't imagine a life without Damira anymore. She's everything to me.

The rumble of storm clouds cover us, the Moon Goddess raging upon her moon throne. Her still many believers still howling with her. I smile at that, clutching a fist to my heart. Least some still believe. Turning my eyes away from the darkening clouds, I find Flora, Fauna and the King of Spring however they aren't tiny anymore. Standing tall as a human, the three stand beside a young man, red flaming hair braided to the side. They all bow their heads, other faeries following in suit.

Damira rumbles with a proud huff, standing us up. "Pack, friends, family and allies, today we will be in war. The wolves, allied with some mysterious power wants our homes." I squeeze Damira's hand, sending sparks of comfort into our bond. The rogues had stopped by the boarder of trees snarling, waiting. Waiting for what? Or who? "Today we will show who is the true owner of this land. Today we are fighting for our home!" she sends a roar of war, everyone here to fight follow her.

I even let out my own howl, not caring that I'm naked. Nor do I care how shaky I feel upon my legs. Because I know I'm with Damira, and together we can do anything. "We are only stronger together," I announce, the crowd turning to me. I smile widely, Neoma scuffing at the back of my head. Your the Luna King! "We are a pack! We are family!" I shout fiercely, my heart pounding a hundred per mile. "What are we?!"

"We are pack! We are family!" They all scream, grins now plastered on their faces, eyes serious and ready for battle. Damira howls, turning to the enemy before us.

"What are we?!" Damira echoes, squeezing my hand tightly, her wolf about to shift.

"We are pack! We are family!" I grin wickedly, forgetting my nerves. Together we are stronger. Together we are a pack. We are family. Our war cry sends the waves crashing harder behind us, the rain now hitting the earth harshly. The harsh coldness of each drop didn't bother me as my blood boils.

I snarl loudly as Homers figure walks through the crowd of rogues, a sick twisted grin upon his mushed up face. "How cute, Alpha and Luna leading their pack. Too bad its leading you to your death," he releases a laugh, fangs leaping through his gums. Is he going to transform again?

"Too bad your fate has been decided, pup!" A familiar voice spits. The familiar Goddess stands by the crashing waves, not caring if she gets violently hit by them. All her focus was on Homer and his little rogue friends.

Damira and my pack kneeled instantly, Homers eyes widening in realization. "Selene, the Moon Goddess!" I grin as he starts quaking in his boots. Fear paling his features.

Selene never takes her eyes off Homer, snarling as he tries to retreat. I smile softly as she comes to stand beside me, bowing my head. "Moon Goddess. Thank you for coming," A little late though but whatever.

"Don't thank me yet, child. We have a bigger force, I can feel it." she whispers harshly, eyeing me for a split second. "Your naked, Soleil. Damira, your an Alpha with a mate, show some dignity!" She snaps, Damira locking in action to cover my body,

"Someone get my mate some clothes!" She yells. I giggle and turn to Selene.

"Go easy on her," She winks at me, grinning as Baden hands Damira a baggy shirt. I pop it on and wink at Damira, her cheeks flushed. "So cute," I murmur giving her cheek a quick peck. She huffs, holding me close.

Our little moment, however didn't last long. A violent wave of power send the wind almost knocking us back. The sound of clapping hands echoed over the wind. We eyed the dark forest, a rather tall woman, clad in black silk strode forward, the pack of rogues bowing to her. Homer gasped, coming to the woman's side. "My Queen-" Homers neck suddenly cracked to the side, cutting off his words. The sound of bone breaking made everyone wince.

"Useless pathetic pup. I ask for one thing and he ruins it all," the dark haired woman scoffs, eyeing us. A wicked grin is spread across her sharp features, dark eyes radiating power behind them. "Sister! Didn't know you'd show up, what a party, am I right?" Selene however didn't seem impressed.

"Hecate, or should I say the Old Witch,"

Holy shit! What!?
