Chapter three
But suddenly the calm atmosphere was disturbed by a loud beeping noise.
I startled.
Hongjoong looked very seriously to San who looked onto his smartwatch. He simply nod.
"Okay. Code: 202. Yeosang Code 959," Everyone jumped up and ran out of the room to follow their orders.
Yeosang grabbed my wrist and pulled me fast through the corridors of their mansion. "Yeosang what happen-" He cut my words. "Shut up!"
He pulled me into a room and entered a code in a hidden keypad. A hatch opened. "Hurry up!"
Quickly I climbed down the ladder.
"If the situation is calmed down we will get you out. But if we don't help you after 24 hours, follow the instructions on the paper laying on the desk." Yeosang called and closed the hatch. Leaving me alone.
It seems that I was in an underground quarter. In front of me was a big living room with open kitchen and a floor with many labeled doors. There were rooms for the members as well as a storage room fill with cans, a bathroom and a bedroom with 5 additional beds.
I sat on the sofa after getting a bottle of water from the storage room. On the desk in front of me were two pieces of paper. The first one was the mentioned instruction. And the second one was an explanation of this place.
This was the safe room and secret meeting room of the gang. Every person which are not involved have to enter this room after the alarm was triggered and will wait for next orders.
But the question what is happening if the alarm was triggered wasn't answered.
I thought it was the best thing to calm down. I would need to wait for one of the boys if I want the answer to that.
After I found some paperand pencils I could spend my time on sketching and scribbling.
But my questions just didn't leave me alone.
Did the mansion got attacked?
Were the Members in danger?
Would I get my freedom back if they wouldn't come back?
Who is their enemy?
...
The persistant silence was making me crazy.
I didn't realized how much time has past even if there was a clock hanging on the wall.
I completed two full pages of paper with sketches of all things that came into my mind. But now I was just laying on the sofa staring to the ceiling.
How long would it takes until they finally get me out?
I looked to the clock. It past approximately two hours.
What are they doing up there?
I was about to fall asleep as I heard someone climbing down the ladder.
"Lia?"
I was wide awake. "Wooyoung?"
He smiled and nod. "Anytime for your service. I hope you were comfortable here." he said and went to me. Thereby he could take a look of my sketched pages which were still laying on the desk.
"Wow. Not bad!"
"It is nothing to speak of."
"But Wooyoung what happened?"
His gaze got serious.
"Well you should ask Hongjoong about it if you want to know. But just let's get out of here." I nod and we left this place.
Above the safe room I finally could see day light shining through the window.
"Thank you, Woyoung."
He smiled and left the room.
I just wanted to get back to mine and Seonghwa's room but before I left the room, I looked back to the hatch.
On my way through the corridors I heard pieces of a conversation.
"It was my fault..."
"... the papers.... not important.... danger.... "
"....Things..... enemies may know...."
"......irrelevant....."
But this conversation didn't not answer any question which I could answer by myself. It was only confirming my assumed thought that they have enemies. But that was kind of obvious.
Back in "my" room, I sat on my bed.
"Hey! What did you do down there?" Seonghwa asked as he came out of the bathroom with just a towel around his hip.
I looked at him and shortly after that away.
"Are you doing this on purpose?"
"Maybe. But that was not an answer to my question."
"I drew some things. Satisfied now?"
"Yeah" I could hear his satisfied grin in his voice.
He went to his closet to get dressed silently.
"Well before I forget, I have got a good message for you. You will have the opportunity to get shopping with me." He turned to me and smiled happily.
"Why do I feel like you have some ulterior motives....." I though loud.
"You're wrong. I don't have anything to to tomorrow and Hongjoong suggest that we could get new clothes for you. But if you like you can go with your new bestfriend Yeosang." grinned Seonghwa knowing that I would like to avoid Yeosang.
"I don't think that this would be a good idea. You know that Yeosang seems to don't like me."
Seonghwa's grin got wider. "Well then it's set in stone. I'm looking forward to it."
"Even if I wouldn't mind seeing you in my cloths all day long."
I took a deep breath and didn't commented it.
