Chapter 5

Moon

It has been two months since I have worked at the castle and I have been getting used to working here, but I wonder why it has the warning in the job description? It's strange because I have not faced anything life-threatening besides getting extra tasks no thanks to spider lady. Sprinkel, Deirser and Fury are my best friends now. They have helped me a lot when I get lost or give me extra hands. What surprises me is that Sprkinkel and Fury are siblings and Sprkinel has told me he has no interest in being the knight because he does not like to fight. I found out that Sprinkel has a crush on Deireser and even funner Deireser also has a crush on Sprinkel too. One day I would make one of those confesses going to drive me crazy if they don't and I know they are both shy, but how long are they playing on waiting? As I was lost in my thoughts I didn't realize that someone was standing right in front of me while I was on my knees cleaning the floor again " you there come with me' the guard pointed me to follow him. I didn't have a choice so I followed him ' where are we going" I asked, finding it strange there he called me out of nowhere and for what reason did this guard call to me. 

"You will be meeting the Dark Knight to do some task. "They request that you take this task," said the guard, making me uncomfortable that the royal dark knight has summoned me. They are not just normal light, they are the dark knight who is the king's most loyal and trusted. They are the most dangerous monsters to be sound and if anyone is too dear to challenge them they will show no mercy. This gives me a chill down my spine. We made a stop right in front of the door as the guard moved to the side " you have to go into that room and follow what order they are given" the guard said that and left with no emotion on his face. I take a deep breath "Okay moon you can do this just stay calm and everything will be good" I try to stay positive even the dumb of me think of it. The thing is that the fact that this is the most gloomy and feels so negative. I chose to ignore it and chose to stay determined. I know at the door waiting for the response "come in already" the voice was loud and rude, I didn't care and just entered. 

As I mead inside and the first thing I saw was Fury? He was standing beside a person who is sitting on a chair. It's like a meat room and furry look very worried for some strange reason this got to be sceptical. I want to ask him what's wrong but I can't as long as this guy is here just who is he? " SO, you are the girl they Fury has been lack of his training," the guy who was beside furry said and it was strange that his eyes are a bit similar to Fury and Sprinkle. "Excuse me, what are you talking about?" I was confused by this " Oh my bad let me make this clear" he disappeared and reappeared right in front of me. He must have teleported. "Sorry, let me introduce myself, my name is dust and this boy here" he pointed at furry "he is my son and I have noted that his train has been lacking because of you" he then pointed at me. "How is this my fault I didn't do anything," I said he just give a devilish smirk making me feel very uncomfortable and my Fury face got even more worried " Father palace leaves moon out of this is not her full-" " SHUT UP son" this silence fury and the father look back at me. "You will be facing punishment for disturbing my son's train" The Fury father summoned a sharp bone and furry eyes became aware of what was going to happen next. Fury runs toward his father as he was about to do. I was taken back and Fury's father or should I just say dust was about to stab me. As swung, his hand tried to hit me, but I was able to dodge by moving to the side just in time and furry grabbed on dust not wanting him to hurt me "Moon just get out of here!" Fury shouted at me. 

I didn't hesitate and run out of the room, I just hope that Fury was alright. As I kept on running I bumped into someone. It was Sprinkle " Wow moon what happened" Sprkinel held onto me as I was breathing heavily from running. I told Sprinkle every thought and his face looked very worried "moon I will somewhere safe this is just temporary after this is over" Sprinkle grabbed my arm and as we fast-walked who knows where. I made it outside of the castle and I think we are at the grade? Never thought this castle has a garden " nobody comes here so you will be safe just stay here and wait until I come back for you" the Sprinkle left off without telling me. He must be going to see his father and brother.

I did what Sprinkle told me to do and I think it was for the best. I look around the garden and I wonder why Sprinkle said that say that nobody comes to the gardens? As I look at the beautiful roses when suddenly I hear a voice well crying. It came from the small pond and there is a skeleton crying. I tried to come close, but accidentally made a loud sound making the skeleton stop crying and said " Who there show yourself?" He sounded angry and very demanding. I got up and waved at him. Sorry, I was about to ask you if you are alright?" The skeleton looked very puzzled by my response and he just looked away "it none of your business" he said in a harsh tone, but chose to ignore it because this reminded me of Incubux when he got sad and mopey. I keep coming closer to him and this got me startled by my approach. 

I sat down right beside him 'you know keeping this all inside will never help it only just make it worse and you feel more hurt" as I said it he just gave a blank look and then looked at the water " Why do you care?" still keep it inside "well you remind me of my brother and when he was sad and chose not to say anything" this captured the purple skeleton interest "what happened then?" he asked "well lucky for him I was there and he cry out and tell me very think and he got better" as I said to the purple skeleton he still look at me and then back to the face at the pound but chose to talk "I made a huge of mistake and I wish to take it back and start over. I lost everything that I love and care about. I feel so alone and no one ever cares about me-" he was unable to finish his sentence because I was hugging him because I think he needed it. He is about to cry again and thinks that is what he needs. 

As I hung him he hugged it back to feel the warmth he always wanted. I don't know why but this made me feel very happy. After the long hug we pull off " thank you for listening and why are you here? This is a forbidden area?" He questioned me but did not sound angry, but he was curious "Well you see there is this knight named Dust," I told him every thought of what had happened and why I am here. This purple skeleton looks like anger and sadness. " I am sorry you have to go through this and I don't worry about Dust. I will make sure he does not hurt you" the purple skeleton gave his word. I was feeling very worried because this is the dark knight the king trusted, but the purple skeleton give a warm smile "don't worry about that I can handle the small issue" he just gave me a pad on the shoulder. "I think you should go back to your room and what is your name? " he asked. "My name is Moon and I have been a maid for two months now,"

I told him about myself. "How should I address you?" I also wanted to know his name too, but the purple skeleton seemed to hesitate. "Well, my name is Illusion," he said. "Well, Illusion it nice meeting and thank you help me stop, Dust '' I don't think I can stop him. "Moon I'm reassured that he won't be able to touch you once I get into first" he just said as if it was nothing. I was about to ask him how when suddenly "Moon! Where are you, you can come back" Sprinkle called out to me? "I'm coming I call back" I was about to say goodbye to Illusion, but as turn to look at Illusion he just disappeared out of my sight. I try to look to see if he is still here somewhere but no luck. I walk with Sprinkle to see me "Moon there you are the hope I did take too long?'. I just wave it off I'm just a friend who needed my help anyway I hope everything is fine. how about you between your father and Fury". Sprinkel seems a bit of surprise but changes his reaction when I mention his father and Fury " They both had calmed down and it saves to get inside" Sprinkle said as he leads me back inside " we are done work of the day'" We both heading back to our room it was already late and it was time head to bed. I wish I could see the Illusion again, but I hope he will be able to stop Dust from trying to kill me. I lay on my bed and fell asleep.  

Pov. Illusion 

So my telling me why you were trying to kill one of my maids? I am at my office sitting at the table and this angers me. "My apologies, my king. I was just teaching that girl a lesson for int-" "silence!"I cut him off without giving him a chance to finish his words. "To think that you are one of my best knights and to think that you have the right to do that?" I question him and make my voice sound deeper and threaten to make Dust step back in fear of what I might do to him" No, I'm sorry! it won't happen again!" he panicked and bowed to me."Fine, You are forgiven and you must never harm Moon and if anyone tries to hurt her has to go through me" This makes Dust confused about what I had just said to him. "Yes, King Nightmare" with that dust leaving my office. That girl was an odd one, but I wonder why she chose to work here? I was glad that she only saw me in my passive form. As she has no idea who I really am if I was in my corrupted form. I kind of like her and I am starting to think I can make her my personal maid. I look at the view from my wing door and see the full moon. I turn back to my desk to look at a photo of the love of my life "why did you leave me" that is all I said as keep staring that the photo.
