(A Few Days Later)

Damian knocked on the door while I was brushing my hair.

"I'm coming; I just need to finish my hair," I yelled.

"When you're finished, meet me by the door as we leave for the warehouse soon," Damian said through the door.

When I finished, I met with Damian and got in his car. He hasn't said anything about what happened that night; I should bring it up. "Damian, about what happened that night,"

"What about it?" Damian grunted.

"Don't you think we should talk about it?" I said.

"No, it shouldn't have happened. I don't make it a habit to sleep with dragon members nor allow relationships between them." Damian said.

"A bit late for that, huh? Haven't you slept with Sookie and Jenna?" I smirked.

"I never slept with Sookie, so don't make that assumption, and Jenna is a mistake that I won't be repeating," Damian explained.

We got to the warehouse, and Damian told me to be with the group while we made his announcement.

"Listen up, everyone; we have a big job tonight. I know Vinnie will be at Eddie's tonight, and we need someone to get the information we need." Damian said.

"I can do it, boss. I'll have Vinnie sucking on my toes." Sookie said.

That's gross. I thought to myself. I kept my face straight and tried not to laugh at the stupid joke.

"No, Evelyn is going to do it," Damian said, and I looked at him.

"Say what?! No, I can't," I said.

"You're doing it, Evelyn, and that's final, and Gregory is going with you. He will fit you with an alarm before you go, and he'll be nearby.

"She's going to fuck this up, Damian," Jenna hissed.

"I seem to have forgotten who the fuck asked for your opinion, Jenna?" Damian glared at Jenna and walked off.

How will I pull this off for Damian and get the information he needs from Vinnie?

"Hey, Evelyn." Tala smiled. "You are going to be just fine, don't worry,"

"I don't know, Tala; I don't think I can do this," I said.

"Of course, you can; all you need to do is keep your eyes and ears open. If you want to avoid wild thang, keep filling Vinnie's drink and keep him talking." I turned to look at Damian when Tala and I heard him call for me. "Good luck, Evelyn."

(Later the Night)

It's almost time, and I can't believe I'm doing this. This outfit I'm wearing is hideous. I need to be strong; I can do this. I went to the living room to find Damian and Parker waiting.

"Looking good, Evelyn," Gregory said. I swear I can see him drooling.

"Good, let's get going. Remember, keep calm, and remember what you're there for. Wait by the car; I need to talk to Gregory," Damian ordered.

I waited for Gregory in the car, and he took his time. We drove to the men's club while Gregory gave me information on my target. Parker stopped the vehicle in front of the club doors.

"Now, I'll always be close in case anything goes wrong. Your alarm is fitted and in working order. You can do this, Evelyn, and trust me when I say that you don't want to return to Damian without any information," Gregory said.

"I understand," I nodded.

"Remember, Vinnie is white with dark hair. Make sure you have the right guy. He should say his name for all to hear anyway, making it easier for you to spot him." Gregory said.

Gregory entered the bar a few minutes after I did to keep his cover. I looked around the bar by sitting at one of the tables, and I didn't see anyone who matched Gregory's description. I continued to sit and wait while cautiously looking around and taking a few sips of the martini I ordered to ensure I blended in with the crowd.

My phone buzzed, and Damian gave me a text to provide him with an update. I texted back, saying he was not at the bar yet, and he responded that he would be here soon and to continue waiting. Then, two men walked into the bar when I put my phone in my pocket. I knew it was Vinnie when I saw him, but I didn't recognize his friend or bodyguard. I was stupid to assume he would be alone, but I got this.

It's time to get the information Damian needs. I hope nothing goes wrong.
