It was morning in a small town, hunters were arriving from quests as normal and the people of the village were enjoying life like they normally do. A team of four Three hunters and one researcher were returning from a long journey. the team had three females and one male. The male and two of the females were the hunters while the other female was the researcher. The girls were Xandra, Qadira and Jacinta, while the male was Aaron.

They were relaxing at a table having a nice bite to eat, the four of them have been friends since they were in Hunter Training. A three hunter are a very high rank while Qadira was a smart researcher. Aaron finished eating a whole plate of well done stake and burped extremally loud.

"Ah, that was delicious, I'm stuffed" Aaron announced.

"We get it, you eat like a poogie. You don't have to be as gross as one," Xandra said to him.

"Hey now, don't insult poogies like that. Your just not used to males being comfortable in their own skin Mrs. I live in a fancy house" Aaron joked to her.

"Its not my fault my father just happens to be a wealthy researcher of the Gem Kingdom," Xandra pouted

"Oh come on Xandra, you know I'm joking," Aaron laughed

Xandra just stayed quiet

"Alright who's gonna pay for lunch?" Aaron announced which confused all the girl because they thought he was going to pay.

"Why are you not paying, Aaron?!?" Qadira yelled at him "Isn't the guy supposed to pay for the food?!?"

"That's how it works on a date, this is not a date. Or is it Qadira?" Aaron said to her with a serious face.

"NOPE NOPE NOPE, I'd never go on a date with a poogie like you!!!" Qudira yelled blushing and freaking out

Aaron just laughed at her which made her blush even more.

"I'll pay for the food," Jacinta said pulling out enough zenny to pay for the food and placing it on the table

"Alright lets go" Aaron announced as he stood up picked up his greatsword and placed it on his back

Jacinta picked up her hammer while Xandra picked up her dual blades and Qadira grabbed her carry bag full of books. The team started walking out of the village on a path that lead to a large mountain.

"Alright from the quest that I got, there is a Rathian in the mountains and we have to make sure we kill it or drive it away from here," Aaron said pulling a sheet of paper that had the quest info on it.

"I think we should be able to take it no problem," Xandra said

"Perfect, Lets get up that it take it down" Aaron yelled as she started running.

The girls ran behind him. After a while of climbing and jumping they arrived at a flat part of the mountain and looked around.

"See anything Rathian related?" Aaron said

Qudira looked around and found a trail of Rathian scales leading into a cave.

"This way," Qudira said as she followed the scales

The rest followed behind her and stayed quiet. They followed the trail of scales into the cave to see the green dragon resting deeper in the cave.

"Stay ready, we are gonna kill it," Aaron whispered

They nodded and Xandra rolled some big barrel bombs into the cave right up to the Rathinas face. Xandra then ran back out and pulled out a mini barrel bomb.

"Are we ready?" Xandra asked quietly.

They nodded and Xandra lighted the mini barrel bomb and threw it at the big barrel bombs. They covered their ears and stayed away from the cave entrance. Them they felt the entire mountain shake and saw all the smoke coming out of the cave. Out of the smoke came a Rathian with a very injured face 

"There it is, attack!" Aaron yelled charging at it.

The other two hunters also charged at it while Qudira stayed a safe distance away from it. Xandra slashed her dual blades at its legs cutting them severely. Jancinta charged her hammer and slammed her hammer into its face breaking a complete plate off of it. The Rathian was able to flap its wings and get in the air saving its self from a strong hit. Xandra, Aaron and Jacinta waited for the Rathian to attack. The Rathian started to readied a fireball in its mouth but just as it was about to fire suddenly a black dragon with fire coming out from behind it slammed into it sending it straight into the mountain said where the hunters were. They were so surprised that they sheathed their weapons quickly and started to run away just as the mountain they were standing on started to fall apart from the huge impact two dragons.

"Go Go Go!" Arron yelled running away from the crumbling floor.

Qudira also started to run away. The ground was breaking fast and before Jacinta knew it the ground from under her shattered and she started to fall with it.

"Jacinta!!!" Xandra yelled as she turned around to try and help but was pulled back by Aaron so a falling boulder would miss her. 

The mountain dust covered the area and no one could see anything. After a short time the winds blew away the large dust clouds and they could see the destruction that just happened. Xandra and Aaron quickly ran to the edge to try and find Jacinta. They found her holding onto a cliff  for dear life.

"Hold on Jacinta!" Xandra yelled to her.

"I don't plan on letting go!" Jacinta yelled back trying to pull her self up.

Not long after the black dragon burst from the rubble and flew off into the sky. The sudden burst of fire started to make the mountain shake again. The cliff that Jacinta was holding onto cracked and fell apart with her falling with it.

"NO!" All her friends yelled.

Jacinta just closed her eyes and waited for death when suddenly a black cloaked hunter jumped from the edge when here friends where standing which scared them. The black cloaked hunter quickly grabbed the falling Jacinta, pulled out a Longsword and with one arm stabbed the edge with it stopping the falling. Jacinta opened her eyes to see this black cloaked hunter holding onto her hand.

"Get ready to swing!" The black cloaked hunter said to her with a muffled voice.

Jacinta was confused by swing when suddenly the Longsword that was in the wall broke  apart with chains holding it together and with one powerful swing they started going upwards and landed perfectly where her friends were. The black cloaked hunter was holding Jacinta in with its arms.

"Jacinta you're alive!" Xandra yelled relived as well as Aaron and Qudira.

The black cloaked hunter placed Jacinta down and her friends came over. Xandra and Qudira hugged Jacinta while Aaron walked up to the Black Cloaked hunter.

"Thank you fellow hunter for saving our friend," He said to the Hunter.

"You're lucky that Valstrax did not stay to fight with you, none of you would be alive" The hunter said to them

"Thank the Elder Dragons it didn't" Aaron said to the hunter "By the way, who even are you?"

The Hunter removed the hood of the black cloak to reveal a female hunter with red hair and taking off a armor mask to show more of her face

"Just call me Cloak, I'm not going to tell you my real name" Cloak said looking at all of them.

"What can we do to repay you Cloak?" Jacinta asked walking up to her.

Cloak first thought about it then asked. "Have any of you heard of DreadKing?"

"I have," Qudira said "DreadKing is the leader or the The Legendary Twelve,"
 

"That's correct, have you seen him?" Cloaked asked pulling out a picture of him

"Wait, you're saying that the twelve area real and its not just a child's bed time story?" Qudira asked

Cloak Nodded.

"I don't think any of us had seen him," Aaron said

"Well since that none of you know, the other way to repay me is by giving me food," Cloak said holding her stomach hungry. 

The four just looked each other and shrugged.
