Chapter 19 Bullet
I have never been shot before.
Nor have I ever been shot at...but after Oliver betrayed me...it was shots fired; and every bullet struck me.
Trapped in the luggage deck, in the dark, without any help. Life could never get any more confusing. I was living a normal life once and now...every turn is a death trap.
Now Oliver is a complete enemy. When justice comes, he will face the charges like everyone else. He knew of the plot agianst the innocent boy. If he would have been on my side, and told me, Delic would been captured already.
Murder, torcure, and kidnapping. Marcilo was desperate to get to this tomb. Only, what is so special about it? What's in it? Why is everyone so desperate to get to it before the other?
If what Leo told me was true, then there is a whole lot more people in play. Something ground breaking is in he tomb. Something everyone is willing to die for and I think Alex the Shadow is the only closest one to me that will ever tell.
I have to face it...I am alone in this world once agian, but this time there's no on to dig me out of this hole.
I paced in the darkness over and over agian until I finally stepped on a tag connected to one of the suitcases.
I snarled and glared at the ajar box. In a swipe the case flew open and hit another behined it.
The case held nothing I could use, but as I shifted though it, something small and hallow flew on the ground. I searched for it as it sounded like glass, but I found nothing behined me.
"Rayne, if you can even hear me, just know I will get you out of here!" I stuck my nose into a suitcase and nearly screeched when a voice answered me.
"Erin..."
I spun around and faced where the voice came from. "Rayne?" I went forward.
"Erin..."
"Rayne!" I dashed forward and hit a solid door in the side of the plane. "Rayne! Rayne!" I clawed the door and looked up. A bold latch on on the door slightly shifted with the plane's movement.
With my new hope, I set opening the door a priority.
First I moved the lighter ones.
Then I had the problem of moving the heavier suitcases.
I stacked them, only using two heavy ones for the base. Then I put the ones that most likey contained clothes on top.
After the pile made it to the latch, I leapt on top and the somewhat sturdy structure shook a little to my weight.
I sighed and put both of my paws on the latch and pulled it down to the right.
The door creeked as one of it's locks changed.
"Erin..." The voice was definitly on the other side of the door.
"I'm going to get you out Rayne!" With more force, I pulled down harder. "Just hold on Rayne!"
"Erin hur-."
With the last burst within me, I yanked the handle down and the door swung open.
The pile of suitcases immediately fell. It would have fallen on the floor through, but with me ahead I lead them down a long tunneling path. We all might have landed on thee floor if there was a floor. Not saying there wasn't one, but the floor we were heading for was the floor hundred of miles down.
