Chapter 19
Brunet
Woah my heart is beating crazily, this is exciting but scary. A bullet was shot at the side mirror of the car I hid next to. I ducked, phew that was close.
We're out numbered, and obviously out gunned. There is no way we are-
Bang
Bang
Bang
Three shots were fired a few feet away from me, then three bodies dropped. Was that Janunu?
If that is, she'll need help. So come on Daniel, time to put on some brave pants and help a criminal.
That sounded wrong.
I grabbed my gun from my holster, and steadily rounded the car to where the men were.
They were all shooting aimlessly at the area Janunu shot from. Idiots, your wasting bullets. This is so uncivil, order needs to be put in place.
So I pointed my gun at them, "Put your guns down on the ground and raise your hands above your heads!!" I yelled in my authoritative voice.
They stopped shooting in Janunu's direction and looked at me. Their faces were blank and they showed no emotion. They were like robots, which is creepy.
Laughter was all that came out of their mouths. They think this is funny?! It is not!
"I said-"
They pointed their guns at me and started shooting. Sh*t, quickly I ran behind a car. That didn't go well. Now that I exposed myself their attention is on me.
I sneakily moved from in between a blue Nissan sedan and a white suv, to in between two big white vans. Which should bring my caution up.
Ok now it's time to put in some effort.

I turned and began shooting at them, though I didn't see very much I still focused on their specific area.
My defense was cut short in a matter of 2 minutes when I ran out of bullets. My day just gets better and better.
Where the f*ck is Janunu when you need her?!
~
Janunu
I sighed as I watched the three remaining Alpha men approach Brunet's area. My relaxation has to end here, the idiot got himself in trouble.
I got from behind a car and stood in view of the Alphas. They didn't see me since their focus was on Brunet.
Bang
I shot one dead, two more and I can finally go home and plan for my final step of my job.
I remained in my spot with a smirk as they quickly turned around. Just as they pulled the trigger, nothing left the gun. I knew they both would be out of bullets.
What do you think I was doing the whole time Brunet was playing bait?
Counting the amount of times your opponent fires they're weapon is a great advantage. Then you'll know when they'll have to reload, and when they do you'll use that time to make your move.
Simple as that.
I rose my gun to one of their heads and pulled the trigger, nothing happened. I frowned and pulled again, ughhh it's jammed!!!
I growled in anger as I threw my gun aside.
They smiled, then one ran to me while the other ran the other way. I hate getting physical, most of the time it makes me overkill.
Though I'm not fully unarmed, I have my trusty boot knife. I'll use the element of surprise on this ogre.
Still glued to my spot I waited until he got close enough. Just about a few feet away from me, I quickly bent down and reach for my knife.
When I stood up he was mearly about to touch me, so I rose on my toes and stabbed the knife into his neck. I watched him, intrigued in his pain. His mouth was open as blood fountained out of his neck.
He touched my hand that still held onto the knife. This angered me so I pulled the knife out of his throat and stabbed his head. He fell to the ground with a thud, that didn't stop me from giving him a lesson.
I kneeled next to his body and stabbed his stomach, "Don't. Touch. Me. With. Your. Filthy. Hands!!!" I yelled out, stabbing him with each word that came out of my mouth.
I wiped his blood off of my knife with his shirt then I put it back in my boot. I stood to my feet looking down at his body, it's his fault I got my face dirty.
Bang
That shot was from the other side of the garage. I jumped over Stabby and ran over to where more shots were being heard.
Just as I was about to turn a corner I was pulled back, a hand covered my mouth and another around my waist. My intruder's breath was next to my ear, either this person is short or they're bending down to my height. Honestly I don't care.
I threw my head back, hitting the person that held me. They stumbled back with a grunt, "Gosh! Your always so damn aggressive!" Brunet yelled as he held his bloody nose. He still had his gun in his hand.
Sirens began to sound from afar, oh now the police wanna intervene. They're doing such a great job.
I shrugged my shoulders, "Where's the last Alpha-"
Bang
Sh*t! Brunet eyes went wide and he was quick to get by my side.
Bang Bang
This time it was Brunet who fired, and from the loud thud i know the last Alpha is dead.
I leaned up against a gray hellcat, it's just a graze to the stomach. I'll be fine, just walk it off Nunu.
"Oh my-"
I rolled my eyes and struggled a little to stand up properly. All my weight suddenly shifted to my left leg causing me to tilt. Brunet quickly held me, touching directly on my wound. I hissed as I squeezed his shoulder.
"Idiot!" I yelled.
"S-sorry" He said sincerely. I groaned and pushed him off of me, then I trudged to our exit door. "Let's go...we need to be out of here before-"

Momo
I knew she wasn't dead, that's why I wasn't so pressed about her death.
Two massacres in 2 weeks, damn my sister good. It seems like I'm the only one that believes Nunu did this, while everyone else is believing an anonymous killer is avenging us.
I stand strong with my belief. I'm sure it's Nunu, I mean her death wasn't even complete. There was no body found, only the driver, so that means she escaped.
I just need to find her and that's the hard part for me. Always has been. Nunu is unbelievably good at hiding, she'll hide in plain sight.
Jhak, Monique, and Unique are most likely half way across the country. Trying to get away from this toxic family. Dad is still in the hospital in the same coma.
I need to spend my time with him soon or later I'll regret it.

Mom placed the bobble head of Michael Jordan on a circle that was strangely marked on the desk.
The wall in front of us pushed back and moved right. All you can see was darkness and a few steps going downward. Woah, Grandpa has one of those secret rooms!
I stopped sipping my Caramel Frappe, "So like, who finna go in first?" I asked.
Uncle Jhak and mama looked back at me annoyed. Why they gotta be so uptight? All I did was asked a question...I think they still made cause I forced them to let me drive the car.
What can I say? I love driving, and I've been driving since 9 months ago. It's not my fault I wanna improve my skills.
Mama sighed, "Jhak go"
Uncle Jhak was taken back by what she said, and sent her a 'Are you stupid?' look. "Who do you think I am? Your dog? Your younger so you go first."
I softly chuckled, then brought my straw to my lips and drank my coffee. They looked back at me, "Wait, how about the youngest goes first?" Jhak asked.
Are they stupid? I'm a 7 finna be 8 year old girl, ion got time to be playing in the dark. I'm tryna get me some bread and leave.
"That's a good idea" Mama said. Then she reached in her pocket and pulled out her phone, she turned on her flashlight and gave it to me.
I looked down at it confused, "What am I supposed to do with this?"
Uncle Jhak and Mama pointed to the open space in the wall. I laughed and placed the phone down on the desk. "Y'all grown folks needa stop taking them drugs mane."
Mama rolled her eyes as she snatched her phone off the desk, "How exactly is she 7 again, because I'm confused. She's in a 7 year old's body but has a mindset of a damn 20 year old."
I smiled and touched my heart, "Aww, that really means a lot to me. Thank you."
She groaned and headed in the wall. Uncle Jhak and I stayed back and watched with wide eyes as she headed down the stairs.
"Wow" We heard from downstairs. "What is it?!" Jhak yelled.
"Treasure"
Uncle Jhak and looked at each other before racing down the steps to see for ourselves. The moment we put our foots down on the ground, the lights were switched on.
We looked around and saw that Mama did it, and her definition of Treasure was these boring a** bulletin boards with papers on em.
I am not impressed.
"Mama, I'm starting to worry about you. The drugs your taking are now affecting your belief in what treasure is." I said concerning.
Jhak cackled as mama rolled her eyes and thumped my ear with her finger. This just made Uncle Jhak laugh harder. I yelped and grabbed my ear, "What was that for?!"
She ignored me and went on to standing in front of one of the bulletin boards. "Do you even know what this is?" She asked us, still gazing at the board.
Uncle Jhak stopped laughing, "Paper?" Mama looked back, "Not just any papers, these papers have everything we need to take down the Alphas."
