Chapter 10

As much as I wanted to leave, Dad chose to stay since they generously offered us to stay.

They gave us the west wing of the second mansion, each of us gets a room to ourselves. Except for Unique, she has to share with her mom.

We slept the night peacefully, but I was still cautious, so I slept without my mufflers.

"Do you think they will make a move on you?" Monique asked, while she sat on her bed.

"No, but if they do. I have permission to kill." I smiled.

Monique frowned, "Who gave you permission?" A smirk crawled on my face, "I did"

Monique laughed, "Just don't kill kill them, kill them halfway."

I groaned, trudging to sit beside her, "That's no fun, I can't look them in the eye as they die."

Monique patted my back like i was a sick 5 year old, "Aww too bad, at least they're in pain."

Hmm, that actually sounds better. As they die slowly, laying in their blood, they'll be thinking about what they did to me. Then they'll die knowing that they'll never have a chance to apologize to me.

"So tell me about our younger siblings"

We rarely spoke about them while we were in Germany together, since she'd always get emotional. Now that we are here and she's happy, it'll be a great time to talk about them.

"Travis loves football and basketball. Sadly he can't play in teams since he's apart of this ridiculous gang."

Monique pouted as she sadden, "That's harsh, how is he dealing with that?"

I sighed, "He's rhyming"

Her eyebrows knitted together, making me laugh at her confusion. "What do you mean by rhyming?"

"I mean that he's rapping his pain out, he can't do normal things like other kids."

"Is this how Unique was raised?"

"Yup, though she doesn't care. All she wants to do is know everything about everything dealing with the gang."

Monique softly smiled, "I see her growing up to be a spy."

I scoffed, "That's stupid, I see her six feet in the ground."

Monique gasped and pushed me off her bed, causing me to fall, "You. And. Your. Damn. Dark. Humor." She said hitting a pillow against my head as each word come out of her mouth.

With my head being protected with my arms, I laughed my heart out until she stopped. When she did, she went back to sitting on her bed. I sat up with a smile on my face, "It was a good one tho, right?"

She rolled her eyes, "No, now tell me about Jaja."

I hummed as I laid down on the floor with my hands behind my head, "Jaja likes to dance, she also likes social media for some reason."

"That's not good, wait is it a good way or a bad way?"

"Ion know, I'm not watching her."

Monique rolled her eyes again, "Well you should, social media is bad for her."

This time it was my turn to roll my eyes, "Social media is good for you that's why it's called social media, where you can find friends. And since Jaja is a lonely annoying brat, social media will be great for her."

Monique scrunched her face and looked down at me. Her face showed it all, it was her, 'are you dumb?' face.

"Nunu social media is a terrible idea for a 7 almost 8 year old, and you've never been on social media to even experience it."

"Neither did you, I've never seen you on social media."

Monique laughed, "I am on social media, my page is under a fake name. And you've never seen me on social media because you have no social life."

Hmm, that does make sense. But still, social media is good. "I'm sticking with my opinion" I sassed.

Monique groaned, "Nunu you never even had an actual phone, your like a grandma when it comes to technology."

I gasped, how could she say that? "I do have a phone" i huffed.

Monique scoffed, "If you talkin bout that ratcheted 2 year old burner phone, that doesn't fit my category of 'an actual phone'"

"Well it fits my category of 'an actual phone'"

She smacked her lips, "Mhm sure grandma."

Ok that's it!

I got up and jumped on her, then i began to playfully hit her face. My playful hits don't hurt much, I remember i had slapped her back in Germany and it left a red print throughout the rest of the day.

Monique laughed as she covered her face with her arms, "Ok ok your not a grandma!"

"Say, 'Nunu is the best sister that understands the modern world'" i said sitting on her.

Monique hesitated as she frowned, "But...I don't want to lie."

I gasped did she really....you know what. I punched her stomach, then ran out the room. Monique tends to get very gassy when something hits her stomach, and I don't want to be in a room with her when things go down.

I rushed in my room and slammed the door shut.

From happy to annoyed, the wind washed my happy mood away. Momo was seated on a chair across from my bed, reading one of the magazines that comes with the room.

She looked up at me and smiled, "Long time no see."

I ignored her and walked over to my bed, where I examined it. From top to bottom and from left to right.

I heard her set the magazine down on the little table, "Same old Nunu."

I continued to ignore her. She's the fakest family member I've ever encountered. Since I was little I looked up to her.

She cared for me, protected me, and even went bazaar when i go missing for just a little amount of time.

When her leadership skills began to show, she helped mom with our part of the gang. Though she was really busy, she still had time for me. Momo was my actual mother, that lady that's my birth giver never really liked me.

Momo took a break from the gang about a year ago to spend time with her other family. Before i got to Houston, I heard that she was coming too. Sadly I didn't get to see her on good terms.

From day one, i never thought she'd switch up on me but I guess i thought wrong. She let these so called family of ours lock me up for the dumbest reasons.

Her sitting in my room, just makes me want to evaporate in thin air.

"Hello?! Nunu!" She yelled.

I rolled my eyes and sat on my bed, "Get out Momo."

Momo scoffed, "I don't have time for your stupid games, talk to me. What's wrong?"

Is she slow?

"What do you see, when you see me?" I asked calmly.

Momo looked taken back from my question before answering, "I see my moody little sister"

Moody? I'm not moody!

"No you don't, you see a ruthlessly selfish killer."

Momo looked unfazed, "To me a ruthlessly selfish killer is Rudolph Hitler, so your assumption is wrong."

I hate when she's being all nobly good, it's aggravating. "This is an act, I know your with the rest of them. Mom probably got you in here to put my guard down."

Momo sat up with a frown, "Them? W-what do you mean, Them? Did someone hurt you? Is mom apart if it? Speak!!" She yelled.

Nevermind she's clear. Momo is too protective of me, this act is unactable.

I sighed as i laid back on my bed, "On the second day, everyone took off their masks and showed their true faces."

"What do you mean? And stop speaking in figurative language, I hate when you do that."

See, this is the real Momo. She always has something to say about the way I speak.

I turned my head and looked at her, "I mean that they're a bunch of fake people, they want me dead."

Momo froze, i can tell she's about to defend them. That's like her personal job in this gang, to defend people. Even if she doesn't even know them.

"We got here the same day, I didn't see you on my first day because I didn't get a chance to. Then on my second day, everyone was saying how you went out in the morning, so i asked again later on at night. But everyone told me you went to do something out of the area with Jhak."

I traced the zebra on my bed sheets, "They lied, on my second day here i did go out in the morning but I got locked up at night."

"So then it was you who did that to Gigi and Ronny, not some Alpha intruder?"

I nodded my head, "They didn't want to let me out, so I had to leave by force."

Momo stood up and slowly paced around the room, "What made them lock you up?"

Ughh so many questions, "I ran over the front gates, which they got mad and when they said that they were going to lock me up. I retaliated and made things worse, then they drugged me."

Momo walked over and sat by my head, "I can't believe they lied to me, after all I've done for them. I wonder what else they're keeping from me."

I pushed her off my bed, "Your dipping my bed!"

Momo chuckled a little as she moved back to her seat, "Your so dramatic."

I'm not being dramatic, I hate when people sit next to my laying head. It causes the bed to dip right next to my head!! And I hate that!

"Why are you here?" i asked in a monotone voice.

Momo touched her heart and faked a sad face, "You don't miss me?"

"Where were you when I needed you?"
