~Janunu~

I'm 22 and today is the day I go back to America. Monique decided to stay in Germany, with dad.

During my 9 hour flight I had a kid repeatedly kick my seat, So I just threatened him that I would dislocate every bone in his body and turn him into a human marionette. Then I would sell his organs on the black market, and lastly I'll eat his brain. Sitting in my cab, I smiled reminiscing the face he made.

Today is also the day of the gang's annual meeting. Every Royal is going to secretly meet up in Houston Texas. We are to spend the first 3 days discussing and evaluating problems, and then for the next 3 days we just enjoy each other's company.

It's 5:43P.M. So everyone should already be at the main mansion. There are 3 mansions, two have 15 bedrooms, while the main have 20. It's not enough for everyone to have their own bedrooms, but I know they'll just do the traditional way of every black house hold. Stuff all the kids in a bedroom, some will even sleep on the dressers. Haha I'm just kidding....or not

This year I know that their main discussion will be about the annual physical street battle with the Alphas. Last year we lost, and the year before that, and the year before that. We started our streak of losing when Uncle Craig died.

The cab dropped me off at the mansion and now I stand at the gates. I rung the bell and waited for someone to answer the little microphone thingy.

"NuNu? Is that chu?" The voice of my cousin Gigi said

"Open the gates Gigi" I sighed annoyed

"The disrespect I get, you can stand there. Imma go make me some ramen noodles."

I groaned, "If you don't open the gates I will break them."

"Hmm you could try, or you can just be polite and greet me. Then ask nicely to open the gates."

I'm getting irritated, "Hello Gianni, open the gates."

The gates opened, "You need some people's therapy, your wording is terrible"

I began walking in, but not before telling her something, "Shut up, those teeth of yours better be fixed too. I don't want to spend my time here looking at the child of a donkey and a horse."

"Bitch!" She yelled as I was walking away

My journey down the exceedingly long driveway all the way to the front door, was unnecessary. I could have used that time to exercise. I knocked on it and waited again.

The door opened and I'm faced with a chest, I look up and see Tyrone. He smiled and hugged me, I hate physical contact and that's why I didn't hug him back.

He let go and rubbed my head, messing up my freshly flat ironed bob. I swatted his hand away, "I just got it done!" I yelled in anger

"Oops didn't notice sis, nice to have you back though. Oh and your sleeping with the teens." He said and walked back inside.

Idiot!

I walked inside and dropped my bags by the door, the maid should be coming to pick those up. I went to the living room where chatting was heard, lots of loud chatting. If I didn't have my mufflers in I would be yelling in pain.

I got to the entree way of the living room and stood there, every state chief, the Royal Chief, along with their families were here.

"NuNu?" I heard uncle Rashard say, bringing everyone's attention to me

"NuNu!!!" A little girl said running up to me, she hugged me. She looked about 7 years old.

She let go of me and looked up, "Do you remember me?"

The moment I saw that small heart shaped birth mark on chin I knew who she was, "Ja'Neicey" I softly smiled at my youngest sister.

Then her twin brother ran up to me and hugged me, "Before you can say anything, I remember you too Travis." I chuckled, along with the adults.

"Now let go of me" I abruptly said, changing the mood. They let go of me and ran out the living room. Then one by one everyone came up and hugged me. Ughhhhhhhh

My mom walked in the room, "Y'all know my baby don't like y'all touching her."

Aunt Shelli playfully rolled her eyes, "And we still finna do it anyway Kindra"

Everyone laughed and my mom patted my back, "How's my NuNu been doing?"

"Great ma" I softly smiled

She guided me to sit next to her, on a two person's couch.

"We've heard King is getting worse." Uncle Andrew said

"Yeah doctors say he has 3 more months." I confirmed.

My dad was diagnosed with cancer last year after I succeeded on my first mission.

"Is he getting treatment?" Auntie Roxy asked

"Yes but it's like they're not working."

"This is why I hate these white hospitals, I bet chu they just using something completely irrelevant to his illness to treat him. My brother can come here and get treated at our black hospitals, these black people gonna know what to do." Auntie Roxy argued

"Girl we feel your pain, we need him here. Especially in these times." Auntie Christie said

"Whose taking care of him?" Uncle Rashard asked

"Monique"

"Monique!?" Everyone yelled at the same time.

"W-W-wait. Is it my Monique?" My mom asked

"Yes mom my sister, Dad faked her death. You all shouldn't be surprised, it's kind of a trend in this family." I'm such a hypocrite

People mumbled, "True, true, we need to see her. When can we see her?" Uncle Rashard said

I thought, "I don't know, it's up to Monique."

"Can I just hear her voice?" Mom said sadly

Ughhhhh, I pulled out my phone and called Monique.

On the fourth ring she answered, "This better be good" Monique said rudely

I rolled my eyes, "People wanna talk to you" I then handed the phone to mom and left. I don't wanna hear that lovey dovey stuff they're gonna say, it makes me sick.

I went to the back of the house and saw some boys playing basketball, and another group playing football. By the pool I saw some girls laying on the beach seats, and lastly I saw the youngest group of kids playing cops and robbers.

I walked to the spot that I always went to, every time we gather here. My spot was at the farthest end of the house with a clear view of the ocean. It was quiet and secluded from everyone else. When I got there, someone was already there. Strange I claimed this spot as mine, so no one is supposed to be here.

"Aye you lost?" I said rudely

The little girl turned around from looking out in the ocean, "No I'm not lost, I'm waiting for my mommy." The little girl spat back. Once she knew who I was she got up an ran to me.

I smiled and opened my arms for my daughter to hug me. She was the only person that I hug back, the only person.

"How was Germany?" She asked smiling up at me.

We started walking to the big tree and sat under it, "Ehhhhh, it's ok. How was life without me?"

"It was alright, but it was kinda lonely at times."

I sighed, "Hmm, can relate"

"What did you do in Germany?" She asked curiously

I smirked as the wind blew in my face, "I killed a total of 157 people, and the number will go higher."

Her eyes lit up, "Really?!!! Next time you go to Germany, can I come?!!!" She said so joyous

I chuckled, "Maybe"

Unique has always been so passionate about killing. When she was younger, we'd put on movies for kids her age. But she'd throw a tantrum and ask for action movies. Everytime someone would die, even if it's the good guy she'd smile and clap her hands.

My job in the gang is to assemble, load, and transport the guns. There's other people that do it too, but they're in a whole different area from where I was. When I would do all that, I always do it when everyone was asleep. About 27 times I caught Unique spying on me, and the thing was it be like 3 in the morning. She'd wait that long just to see me prepare the guns.

"How are your grades in school?" I asked

Her smile dropped, "Their great, I got an A in history." I could see right through her lie.

"Your getting better at your lying, now how are your grades really." I smiled

She huffed, "I got B's in my extracurricular classes, and C's for my core classes."

"Bring them up by the time I leave back to Germany, and the chances of you going will go up."

She gasped and hugged me, "IM GOING TO GERMANY!!" She yelled

I rolled my eyes and laughed at her, "On your lying, try not to change your expressions so quickly. Also don't look away, always look them person in the eye." I advised her.

She let go of me and nodded, "How long will you be staying?"

I looked up at the sky, and breathed in air. I looked back at her and smiled, "A year...probably"

She shook with excitement, but wouldn't let it out because she knows how i get when she's too too jumpy.

I held my head in my hands and sighed, I then opened my arms for her and she attacked me.

"My mommy is staying!!!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled again

I'm gonna be honesty I did miss my daughter, I hope she loves her really mom just as much as loves me.

I got up and lead her back to where everyone was. I left her outside to play with her cousins, while I went back inside.

The adults were still in the living room, and they were discussing, practically arguing about the matters of the Alphas. I quietly went to sit next to my mom and listened as they went on about the Alphas.

"We have to draw blood first this year." Auntie Roxy argued

"No, we're not doing that. It's better if we just set them up. We can plan a way to trick them" Uncle Fred argued back

"How about we rob their supply order?" Uncle Rashard asked

"No, we trick them!" Uncle Fred said, with a few agreeing with him

"No we draw blood first!" Auntie Roxy yelled, with another group agreeing with her.

"No, we rob them!" Uncle Rashard yelled, with some others agreeing.

There were a few people left, not knowing who to agree with.

"Enough!" Uncle James yelled, bringing everyone to silence. He was the Royal Chief, he brought that effect to everyone.

"My older brother was murdered by those savages, we will go for their Chief and the rest will fall." Then the people who were confused agreed with him.

Everyone else didn't strongly agree, so I had to step in, "How about we do all of that?" I smiled just imagining it all working out.

"What do you mean?" Uncle James asked

"When we rob their supplies, they have no guns. They'll know it's us, so they'll come to draw blood. What we'll do is lure them to a place, making them think they are going to ambush us. Then we kill them, after that we kill the chief. Once the chief is dead we kill off the rest of them."

Everyone, and I mean everyone agreed. "That's a good plan" Mom praised me.

"Yeah it is, but for this to happen we need to be quick and cunning. We have to not let them know we're coming for them." Uncle James assured.

"Yeah and we're gonna need to be prepared way before we do this. So everyone has to pitch in." Auntie Fantasia said

"Ok dinner is ready. After dinner get enough rest because the next two days will be eventful. This will be the year we get our strength back." Uncle James said and left.

"It's good to have you back, even though you will most likely jeopardize this mission." Auntie Roxy joked

I smirked, "I like to stand out"

Everyone laughed, "Hey where's Momo, Tre, and Jhak?" I asked

"Oh they went to get Jaliyah and them" Mom answered

I nodded my head and left to the kitchen. Besides the Aunties that were into the gang's politics, all the other Aunties were in the kitchen.

The dining room was the size of an extra large cafeteria. There was a total of 47 family households, each have at least 4 or more kids. I sat at the seat all the way at the back, then I pushed the closest chairs to me at my table away from me.

After 5 minutes everyone started pouring into the dining room. When Unique saw me sitting in the back, she rush to me bring most of her cousins. Great.

They acknowledged me when they sat down, then they talked among themselves as I watched. After another 20 minutes of unnecessary chattering, everyone was seated. Then all the maids and some of the family members gave out food.

My food was placed in front of me and I groaned. There was fried chicken, mash potatoes, collard greens, barbecue, black rice with beans, and green beans. I hate green beans.

Unique looked at me with a chicken in her hand, and her mouth was full. She also had grease all over her hands and face, "You know green beans are good for you, don't they help you with your bones?"

I looked at her in disgust, "Ew, first finish eating. Then talk."

She swallowed her food then smiled at me, with chicken stuck in between her teeth. The embarrassment I feel.

"Better?"

I blinked, then sighed. "Sure you can say that."

I began eating, trying my hardest to block out the noise. The mufflers I have in my ears, reduce the force of sound that goes into my ears. So basically I can hear the same amount of noise everyone else can. If I didn't have these mufflers on everything would be so loud, my ears are very sensitive.

America has changed a lot and it's not the good change either. The government is still pathetic, I hate the Alphas, and the numbers of homeless people increased.

"Yurrrrrrr!" Someone yelled as they walked in, and that someone is my best friend Chopper

I looked up and shook my head as I smiled, "This idiot"

"Aye where NuNu?!" I heard Vince my other best friend yell

"Hey!! Stop yelling or imma kick y'all out!" Auntie Shelli yelled

"Sorry Ma'am" They apologized

They then hurried up and ran to my table, they attacked me. This attack made me fall back, and now I'm squished between two idiotic giants.

"Get off me" I gritted through my teeth

They laughed and got up, they then helped me up. Vince looked at Unique and her friends, "Move"

Unique got defensive, "Uhh who you talkin to? I know you ain't talkin to me!" She sassed, and her girls backed her up with 'Mhm's

Chopper laughed, "Mane that ain't how you say it, lemme show you" Chopper put his hand down on the table and looked at the girls.

"If y'all don't get up, I'm not taking y'all to the Mall Saturday."

The girls laughed, "Boy you got here with with Momo, that means uon got a car. So why would we want chu to take us to the Mall. How we finna get there? On a bike?" Cece said

Chopper cheeks turned red, "Ok can you guys just please get up" he pleaded

"Give each of us 20 dollars, then maybe we'll get up." Niya negotiated

Vince and Chopper both looked at them crazily, "It's 10 of y'all, so that's 200 dollars. I'm broke."

"If uon got money, then leave" Deyrah said

"Peace out" the rest of the girls finished

I chuckled, "See y'all later, it's getting loud."

I pushed my unfinished plate away, and walked out the cafeteria. As I did, I heard them arguing. Still the same after all these years.

They would argue for hours, over the littlest things. Once Vince and Chopper, argued with Unique and her crew over what costume Roller our dog should wear for Halloween.

I went to the garage, in the garage there were two places. On the left is where everyone parks for these kind of events. On the right is the newly unused cars that just be sitting here.

My brother Tre makes cars, but he doesn't share them with the U.S. He sales it in different countries, my brother cars are to die for. Not only are they super fast, but they also are very very classy.

My sister Momo makes guns, she uses a completely different material from regular guns that are normally used. Her guns shoot further, it's light and it already comes silenced. She also doesn't share with the U.S.
