Some of the Avengers stepped back In shock as the pups spoke to them. Bruce, a man with curly black hair and glasses looked shocked and then, Immediately curious. Nix's hackles raised as Bruce stepped towards them, Z'ev pushing her tiny self closer to their father. "So, why'd you bring them here, Tony?" Spoke the only female In the room, a redhead with green eyes. She was wearing all black and looked confident In every way. "Couldn't leave them at home. Pepper doesn't know about them being able to.. talk. Happy comes with me just about everywhere. And both Pepper and Happy are here." He explained briefly, crouching down and placing the two pups down on the ground. Z'ev looked around, then up at the adults. She yelped, scrambling on her paws, hiding behind her father's leg. Nix looked to his sister, giggling slightly. Z'ev huffed, glaring Nix down. Nix gave his sister a wolffish smirk, crouching lower to the ground, his little tail wagging In circles behind him. Z'ev wasn't given a chance to react, seeing as her litter brother pounced on her, sending the two rolling backwards Into the open room. Tony watched this scene unfold, an amused smile crossing his features as he crossed his arms. "Make sure not to kill each other!" He called. The two pups looked up form their spot on the ground, where they were play wrestling. "No promises!" They called In unison, their heads turning back to face each other. Continuing their game of play fight. Clint swung his head around to face Tony, floppy brown hair and blue eyes glimmering In mischief. "So, Pepper doesn't know, huh?" He teased. Tony stiffened slightly, shaking his head. "No, her and I..." He trailed off, biting his lip as he sighed. "Please don't say pregnant." Clint muttered, Tony's eyes widened. "Gosh no! Her and I aren't exactly on the best of terms at the moment." He explained, Clint gave a small, sympathetic smile. The one emotion Tony hated to see, sympathy. "Sorry to hear that, Tony, I hope things get better." Clint replied In a quiet tone. The others had dispersed, off doing their own thing. "Just, don't say anything about It." Tony mumbled as he looked away from Clint, his hazel brown eyes traveling off to the two pups. They were wrestling on the ground like human children, having fun. A smile grazed Tony's features, he remembered the day he had found them In his backyard, they were quite small. "They are pretty cute, Tony." Clint admitted, a small smile of his own showing. "Yeah, you should have seen them when I first found them In my backyard." Tony mentioned, looking up and over to Clint. Hazel eyes meeting bluish green. "Oh?" Clint questioned, now Intrigued by what Tony had to say about the small wolf pups. "Well, technically Pepper found the, first." Tony chuckled as he scratched the back of his neck. "They were so small, when she called me out of the house, I was surprised. They were curled up together, they had to be only a month or two. Tiny, scared and covered In mud. When Pepper forced me to take them Inside and bathe them, they gave me a hassle when It came to bathing them." He paused, a grin slowly taking over his features. "But, when they were clean and dry. They were adorable, If I must admit. They grew on me and now here we are, two months later and with two bouncy wolf pups In the Tower." Tony laughed lightly, happiness glittering In his hazel brown eyes as he and Clint watched the two wrestle on the ground In the common room. "Wow, I never thought you'd take In animals." Clint teased, giving Tony's shoulder a light shove. "Oh shut up." Tony laughed genuinely. "They're much more then just animals, so much more." He said quietly, Clint grinned. "How much more?" Clint asked as Tony turned towards him and looked him In the eyes. "They're my children."
