*NOT FOR SENSITIVE READERS*

Cassandra's POV

"Wake up you stupid bitch!" I heard a loud yell followed by a cold bucket of water thrown on me.

I opened my eyes slowly looking at my surrounding.

It's been two days in here, and it's been hell.

Layla stood in front of me a wide grin on her face. Antonio walked towards me, a tray of food in his hand.

"Layla, I thought I told you not to do that. I want those children healthy." Antonio whisper yelled to her as if I couldn't hear them.

"She deserves it," Layla said folding her arms.

"Those things are the key to everything we want. We'll be set off for life when all of this is over." Antonio said.

Antonio walked over to me, the tray still in his hands

"It's breakfast," he sang.

He kneeled to my level where I was sitting on the mattress.

This place looked like an abandoned Warehouse with a few leaks in the roof allowing the sun light in.

Antonio tucked the hair covering my face behind my ear.

He placed the tray beside me. In the tray there was a bowl of fruits and on the side, a plate with two slices of toast with bacon and eggs.

Layla walked towards us rolling her eyes.

"Why do you continue to spoil her with all this food, why don't you give her filth like she is." Layla said.

Antonia gave her a filthy look shutting her up immediately.

"Come on, you have to eat." Antonio said.

I shook my head no.

"Come on, eat up. A lot of mothers don't make it through childbirth. I might just let you hold them before they disappear." he threatened.

That's what he has been doing. Manipulating me with the lives of my unborn children to get me to do what he wants.

"I won't repeat myself again," he warned.

I reluctantly picked up the slice of bread knowing I have no other option. He always manipulated me into getting what he wanted.

I started eating, having difficulties to swallow the food. My children gave me the strength to keep going when I couldn't.

"Poor girl, no one cares for you." Layla said. "Xavier has already moved on. No one is even looking for you, no one cares. Your disappearance has been a breath of fresh air for everyone." she continued. "No one ever loved you."

I felt the tears run down my cheeks, no matter how strong I tried to be I just couldn't.

"You should just disappear and do everyone a fav--"

"That's enough!" Antonio yelled interrupting her.

Layla looked at him shocked at his reaction.

"Stress isn't good for the babies, remember." He said calmly.

She glared at me pouting her lips.

"Layla, why don't you go ahead and carry out the rest of the plan. The sooner you get to him the better. You need to get to him when he's weak." Antonio said.

She placed a smirk on her face walking over to Antonio then disturbingly exchanged saliva, sucking each other's lips.

Did I mention, they were dating.

"Later, babe." She whispered to him before walking away.

He walked her out and locked the gate making sure no one could enter.

He walked back a smirk on his face.

I looked at him disgusted.

"Stupid girl," he muttered possibly referring to Layla.

He sat next to me.

"Can I tell you a secret," he said mischievously.

"Layla is just a part of my plan to get what I want. Once I'm done I'm going to make sure she pays like your sweet little Xavier." He said.

He caressed my check laughing psychopathically.

"I wouldn't do anything stupid if I were you," he said getting up to leave.

He walked out the room to what seemed like the kitchen.

Was this nightmare ever going to end. Couldn't I ever be happy?
Trouble was always going to follow.

I leaned my head onto the wall taking deep breaths.

I place my hand onto my stomach rubbing my bump, soon I felt a kick on my stomach a foot appearing on the side of my stomach. My baby was kicking.
A smile formed on my face.
Soon I felt another one, it was proof that even with all of this my children were going to make it out alive.

"I can't believe that bastard had the nerves to regret me." Layla yelled walking in, her face red and her hands in fists.

"You can't even do one thing right!" Antonio yelled.

"Are you saying it's my fault? I did everything I could." Layla yelled.

Antonio exhaled deeply.

"We have to move on to plan b then." He said.

"We have a bigger problem. Xavier has got everyone looking for this trump. If we don't do anything about this soon they're going to find us. I can't go to prison!" Layla whisper yelled in frustration.

Antonio started running his hands through his hair anxiously.

Xavier was looking for me! This brought so much hope and happiness to me. I couldn't help but form a smile on my face.

"What are you smiling at!" Layla snapped annoyed.

I quickly replace my smile with a frown.

"I thought that letter would work. I had to pay a lot of money for it." Antonio said in frustration.

Maybe Xavier did care about me after all, I just hope that I would leave this hell soon.

A smile suddenly formed on Antonio's face. He looked at me mischievously.

"You going to call Xavier and tell him to stop looking for you." Antonio, his hands rubbing his chin as if he was planning a murder.

"No," I yelled.

That would take away every chance I have of getting out of here with my children.

"You don't have a choice. If anything happens to us, I'll make sure those children never makes it to see the daylight." He threatened.

"Please no," I said, the tears streaming down my cheeks.

"You're going to do exactly what I tell you. Don't even think of crossing me. You know what's at stake."

He handed me the phone after giving me the instructions.

"Don't even think of betraying me," he warned.

I called Xavier but he wasn't answering the phone. I kept my fingers crossed hoping he wouldn't pick up because then I wouldn't have to lie to him. After a couple of tries he finally picked up.

"Who is this," Xavier answered the phone nonchalantly.

It broke my heart hearing his voice, I thought I'd never hear it again.

"Xavier," I said softly.

"Cassie, how are you." He said, the tone in his voice changing.

"I'm great," I answered trying to keep the tears back.

"Where are you? I'll come and get you now." He said.

"That's what I'm calling you about," I paused.

I exhaled deeply.

"I want you to stop looking for me," I said.

"What?," He said softly

"I want you to stop looking for me Xavier. I don't want to be found. Wasn't that letter enough for you. Why won't you just let me be happy," I snapped.

My heart broke lying to him.

"Cassie, you don't mean that. Please just come home, everything will be alright. Our children---"

"They were never yours," I interrupted. "Just leave me alone. You are the cause of everything wrong in my life." I said.

I quickly hung up the phone before he could respond.

I dropped the phone out of my hands tears streaming down my cheeks as Antonia smirked at me.

I had to do it, I just hope he would forgive me.
