Zia Knight POV

"Where is my baby Lucas?" I asked as soon I see Lucas's slump body figure with a sad expression on his face. As soon he heard his name he looked up to find me grinning toothily at him.

Lucas ran up to me with tears falling down his cheek. He spreaded his arms and I picked him up, and spinned him around in my arms until he finally let out his laughter. Once I got a bit dizzy I hug him tightly and place kisses all over his face before I blew raspberry to his cheek. I tickled his tummy to have him laugh once again. I put him down so he can stand on his feet while I squat down so I can be on his eye-level. 

"Where have you been Zizi? I missed you" he pout his bottom lip cutely.

"Ow, my baby. I am so sorry I have been busy that I actually fell sick. I forgot to eat and drink my milk so then I lost all of my strength and energy and actually pass out." I shook my head and flail my arms around to exaggerate my story for him.

"Oh no! You should always remember to eat and drink milk. Mama always got mad at me if I don't eat or drink my milk." he reprimanded me. Ow, my baby is so adorable. I nodded my head with a quiet 'sorry' before I feel him patting my head as if to say he forgives me. 

We both started to laugh until I pick him back up and carry him on my hips. "say baby do you want to accompany me for grocery shopping and dinner with me perhaps?" I asked him as we make our way to Avery.

"Yes! Let's go! I want to spend some time with you Zizi. Let's go have dinner too!" Avery heard Lucas's exciting voice and shook her head at us since she saw me grinning cheekily at her. She kisses Lucas's cheek before we made our way to my G-wagon. 

I placed Lucas into his booster seat that I always leave in my G-wagon nowadays. I buckled him in and quickly enter my car and buckle myself securely before we made our way to the nearest grocery store. 

After parking my car I went and got Lucas out of his booster sit. I carried him on my hips and bounce him a bit until I place him into the trolley. 

"I don't want to sit in the trolley please Zizi" he showed me his puppy-dog eyes but I slapped my hand over my eyes quickly.

"Nope, not this time baby. I don't want to lose in this big store beside I want you talk to me while we shop. I haven't heard from you about your school, Derek and you got to tell me why you didn't bring anymore sweets for lunch when I wasn't around. Please?"

I didn't hear his reply after I waited for a good 10 seconds. I sighed loudly before I move my hand to look at him who was furrowing his eyebrows as he purse his lips. "How about I promise to buy you delicious desert after our dinner? it's been awhile right" I tapped his nose with my index finger earning me his wide toothy smile. I laugh and we begin our grocery shopping. 

Lucas was telling me about his school about his upcoming kindergarten excursion to the zoo and the school's break. I told Lucas about sleeping over at my place at night when I miss him, even though it was to help Avery whenever she has dinner date with Angelo but I will keep it quiet for now. 

"Derek has been missing you too not only your desert you know" Lucas said when I asked him about Derek.

"Really? aww... I miss him too. How is he? Is he finally making more friend?" Lucas shake his head 'no' and quickly pointed his finger at the mineral water for him to drink now that he's thirsty. He was gulping the water but suddenly his eyes went open wide and he stopped his drinking but started to cough. I took the water bottle off him and put the lid back on before I patted his back gently to help him calm down his cough. 

Once he stopped coughing he pointed his index finger to something behind me. "Derek.. Derek.. Derek" he call out loudly and wave his small hands in the air excitedly.

I look back and found none other than little Derek who has his eyes bulging out and jaw drop as his eyes were locking with mine. I chuckled at his expression and began to giggle with Lucas follow me soon after. Our giggle seem to snapped Derek out of his state of shock because he begin to scream as he run towards me with his arms wide open.

"Ahhhhh.... it's Zizi... it's Zizi.. my Zizi... it's Zizi!" Derek shout loudly and finally jumped to my open arms. I picked him up and spin him in the air before placing kisses all over his face and blow raspberry to his cheek. Just like how I did to Lucas I started to tickle him but this time Lucas also join the tickle fun. Derek was laughing the entire time asking us to stop repeatedly. 

I gave him a last kiss on the head before I kept him on my hips so he and Lucas are on eye-level. 

"It's my teddy bear! I miss you" I squeeze hug him. 

"I miss you too Zizi!" he squeeze hug me before burying his face to my neck. I rubbed his back gently before I ruffle his hair and let go of our hug.

"How come you are here? Are you with someone?" Derek pointed his finger at the water bottle that Lucas was drinking before he saw Derek. I undo the lid and helped him drinking the water.

"No.. I'm lost. I was waiting for my god-father but I saw you and Lukey so I walk here." he explained once he finish drinking the water.

"Where did you walk from my teddy bear?" I asked him softly as I put him into the trolley but standing unlike Lucas who was sitting. Lucas started to ask to let him be standing like Derek and I let him. 

"I don't know. I was in the office. A driver dropped me off from uncle Angelo's office to Ashy's office outside. I didn't know where to go so I follow the others crossing the road then I saw and Lukey so I follow." I nodded my head and unsure what to do in this situation. 

"Zizi can Derek join us for dinner and desert please?" Lucas plead with his puppy eyes look and Derek who saw this began to give me the same look but his pout brought his dimples visible to my eye. I'm weak with dimples man!

I sighed loudly knowing I have lost this case so I nodded my head with an eye roll. The  two began to do their happy dance in the trolley for a couple seconds but I told them to stop or they will be crushing on the items in the trolley. I guess I have to continue the rest of my grocery shopping tomorrow.

"Okay, let's go to the check out and have our dinner. Derek since you don't have your phone with you I will bring you with us to the restaurant let's hope your uncle will be able to pick you up from there" I tap on his nose but with an upward flick using my index finger. This earn me a cute giggle and again his dimple, too adorable I'm telling you!

Once we finish with the check out we head back to my car. I let the two boys out of the trolley and let them in with Lucas and Derek on the back seat. Lucas doesn't want to sit on his booster seat since he want to 'match' with Derek. Cue the eye roll, these two are too cute.

I put all of my grocery into the back of my wagon, thanking that I didn't have any cold or wet ingredients. I quickly went to check on the boys safety belt before I put my own and have child-lock switch on. 

"Okay baby, teddy bear I am taking for fried-chicken? is that okay?" the two were screaming cheerfully once I mentioned fried chicken. I chuckled and begin to head my way to the area where the food-trucks normally gather. 

After 10-minutes drive I began to search around the area for a car park and finally found a spot not far from the food-trucks. The boys saw the crowd and started to get excited by the way they're bouncing on the seats.

I came out of the door and unbuckle them. I took them one by one and lock the car. 

"Alright promise me to never walk or run away from me or each other. I want you to always hold hands with me or each other. If you are lost just stay where you are or stand under the lamppost light and I PROMISE to always find you! okay?" I look to both of their eyes with my serious facial expression. They nodded their head with their own serious expression. I smile at them and kiss both of their cheek before I took a hold of each of their hand.

I know what we're eating and which food truck I am lining up for so I made my way towards with a slow pace so the boys don't get tired quickly. We were lining up together and I place my order after I greeted the owner of the food truck and they greeted me back warmly. 

I saw a family who was finishing up and getting ready to leave as if the mother can feel my stare she smile and offer us their table. I thank them sincerely before I helped Lucas and Derek onto the bench. Our order was being called out so I told them to wait while I grab the food.

Luckily the two boys were still there when I got back with our food. The boys saw the food I have ordered and started to jump on the bench excitedly. I ordered two fried chicken skewers with chips and pickles for them, one big piece fried chicken with chips, pickles and salad, and chicken burger with salad, three bottles of mineral water, and one thousand island dressing and two ranch dressing. 

I was hungry and haven't had fried chicken for awhile so I went all out. Don't say it, woman is sensitive with their food and portion so don't you dare say it!

Lucas and Derek began to eat with their hands, luckily I got the hand sanitizer and wet wipes from the store earlier. All three of us were eating quietly with a smile on our faces. The boys were eating messily but who cares, this is what food can do for you!

"That was so yummy!" said Lucas.

"I can't wait for desert now!" said Derek. 

I laugh at the two but since we have just finished our eating I told them to spend 10-minutes at the near by playground. The boys happily comply and run to the seesaw. In the meantime I pick up my phone and call Avery. 

"Hey Av, sup?"

"Hey, just restaurant busy and stuffs. How's dinner?" I can hear noises from the background making me smile at how successful the restaurant has become. I kept my eyes at the boys throughout the phone call with Avery to make sure they're okay.

"Well, I make this real quick then. Do you mind calling your boyfriend to let him know that I found his nephew and tell him to not worry. I will bring him back with us to the restaurant so he can just come and get him from there. Beside you two can then have a brief catch up aye?" I teased and wiggle my eyebrows even though she can't see me I'm sure she know I'm doing it since she knows me well enough.

"Oh God, stop wiggling your eyebrows and fine I will tell him that. I will give your number to him just in case he need to contact you is that okay?" I said a quick sure and bid her goodbye before I end the phone call.

"Boys, come here" Lucas and Derek sprint to me and sit next to me on the bench. "Well, you two and I will be sharing the desert that we're about to have because it's too much for only one person. Trust me you will love this desert. Are you ready?" I said enthusiastically and immediately they shout 'yeah' before they grab a hold of one of my hand.

I walked with the boys to a different food truck and place our order. I purposely carried the two boys on each side of my hips so they can see the whole process of making the desert that we're having. They were truly fascinated just like I thought, their eyes stayed on glued on their desert throughout he whole process of making it. 

I put the boys down so I can grabbed our order along with three small plastic spoons and thank the staff. I told the boys to follow me to the nearby empty table. We took our seat with me in between them so I can hold on to it while they eat. 

"Well boys, this is called bubble waffle. This one is with crushed oreas, vanilla ice-cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. Enjoy!" the two were waiting for me to start eating since they don't know how to eat the desert. I chuckled and began to use my plastic spoon to scoop the ice-cream first since it's starting to melt.

The boys follow after and we began to eat enjoyably. I started to feed Lucas when Derek ask for me to do the same. So whenever I feed Derek he will feed me, same with Lucas. Once we ran out of the ice-cream I let them to bite on the waffles and they just couldn't stop laughing and giggling from how tasty it was. 

My phone was ringing so I handover the remaining waffle to Lucas for them to share. I wipe my hands with the napkins before I answer the call without checking the caller ID.
