"Do you really have to work today?" Daniel pouts.

I smile at how adorable he looks,"Babe. I told you. Mr Payne has a strict policy of not taking Monday or Friday off without a proper excuse or a medical certificate!"

"I know I know but I just wish I could spend my entire day off with you!" Daniel whines.

"I wish the same. But I can't take the day off. Maybe Mr Payne will let me off early today if I ask?" I suggest as Daniel's eyes light up like a little boy.

"Hopefully. Fingers crossed!" Daniel smiles. I lean in and attach my lips onto Daniel's. I devour his lips for a few seconds then pull away and smile at him.

"Well then you better get going. I'll be chilling at your place today Baby. That's alright right?" He asks.

I smile,"Whatever makes you happy!"

"Have a great day! I love you!" Daniel says.

"I'll try to. I love you too!" I smile.

I peak Daniel's lips once again and grab my stuff and head out of the door.

I was in a good mood today and I was early so I decided to grab coffee from Starbucks yet again. Honestly, I just need an excuse to get coffee from Starbucks. After reaching the office I park at my usual place and head to elevator.

Surprisingly, it was empty today. I mean usually there's always someone. Maybe I'm just early or something. I reach my floor and head to Mr Payne's office. His office wasn't locked meaning he was here today. This early? Something must really be up!

I knock at the door and after hearing a come in, I walk inside. "Good Morning Mr Payne, you're coffee!" I smile placing the coffee on his desk.

"Liam Selena" he smiles and pauses,"Thank you for the coffee!"

"How come you're here so early today? Is Mr Styles' coming in again?" I ask. It's been weak since he had come here. I honestly don't want to see him again. Let's just say he's not the type of person I'd want to spend alot of time with.

"No no he isn't. I actually just wanted to finish some work I left yesterday"

"Oh okay. Anything I can do to help?" I ask.

"No thank you, if I need you I'll call you Selena" he smiles. I nod and head to my office.

At around 11:30 my phone beeped. I picked it up and saw a text from Daniel.

Babyyy. I miss you. Did you ask Mr Payne if you could come home early?

I smile at the text and decide to go through my schedule once and then ask Liam if maybe I can leave early today.

I head to Mr Payne's office and knock on the door. I head inside and he's on the phone. He gestures for me to take a seat.

"Well, I really can't say no to you can I? I mean it would be very what can I say. Yeah you can ask her. Sure. I understand. It's whats best for her. Do you really think she'll agree? Yes. Okay. Okay. Fine. Talk to you later mate." With that Liam hangs up and looks at me.

"What can I do for you Selena?" He asks with a smile.

"Well I was wondering if I could leave early if that's possible?"

"Well let me look at my meetings for today" he pauses and diverts his attention to the files on his desk.

"You can leave after my 2 pm meeting if that's fine?"

I smile,"That'd be really nice. Thank you!" With that I head back to my office, text Daniel and quickly decide to finish my work.

While Mr Payne was in his meeting, I was finishing up my work in the office. All the sudden there was knock on my door.

"Come in" I say still focused on my work.

The door opens and I look up to see Mr Harry Styles walk inside.

"Mr Styles, I wasn't expecting you." I say with a polite smile and start to get up from my seat.

"Hello Selena. Please do not get up on my account. Keep sitting!" He smiles and I simply sit back down.

"Do you mind if I take a seat?" He asks.

Where are all these manners coming from? "Not at all!" I say and gesture to the empty seat in front of me.

I take a seat myself. "I went by Liam's office to see it empty." He says.

"He's in a meeting right now. He'll be out in twenty minutes. Anything I can do for you till then?" I ask.

"I'm actually not here to see Liam Selena. I'm here to see you"

"Me?" I ask furrowing my eyes in confusion.

"Yes you Selena. I have to talk to you about something"

"Yes?"

"I want to offer you a job, to work for me I've already talked to Liam about this, he was hesitant at first but I convinced him. This is your decision entirely. What do you say?"

"I already work for you don't I?" I was slightly confused.

"You work for my company but I'm offering to promote you, so you'll work as my assistant at the headquarters of Styles' Establishment. You'll get much more benefits then you get here as well as a very very generous raise" Harry says.

"I like Liam and everyone here. I'm happy here" I say.

"That's what Liam also said but then I explained to him that you're so young and working at the headquarters of such a well established firm would do you wonders in life Selena. Professionally. Plus they aren't much far from here, the headquarters."

"Why me? I mean why do you want me to be your assistant?" I'm not so special.

"Well ever since I promoted Liam, my luck with assistants has been terrible. He was my best. My friend's say that it is because of my impatient behavior and temper that scares my assistants. I'm looking for assistants these days and you're the perfect candidate. Liam trusts you and showed me how with your help this firm has achieved alot of profit. You could really help with important decisions back at the office. I need a trustworthy, organized and patient assistant. I've heard you're the best. So what do you say?" Harry asks.

I swallow a lump that was now formed in my throat,"Hmm...well. I don't know."

"Look Selena take time to think about this and do whatever you think is right. Here's my business card, it has my cell number. I'll give you a week to make up your mind. Just call me whatever you decide!" Harry says with a slight smile and hands me the card.

He then gets up,"So I should get going now. I'll look forward to hearing from you Selena. Hopefully you will agree to my preposition. Until then Goodbye" with that he walks out of my office.

Working as his assistant? Can I handle him for that long? I mean. But the money and benefits?

As soon as Liam's meeting was done I went inside his office to tell him I was leaving and to give him the files.

"Thank you Selena"

I nod, I decided to bring up Harry and his little offer,"Mr Styles' was here awhile ago."

Liam looks up at me,"Was he now? Did you agree to his offer?"

"I've taken it under consideration"

"Selena, this will be good for you. Especially you're career. At first I didn't agree to harry as you're one of my best employees so far and I didn't want to lose you but it's best for you. Whatever you decide is fine. Even if you say yes to Harry and don't like it later, you can always come back. The slot will always be open for you!" Liam smiles.

"Really? You'd let me come back?" I ask.

"Sure why not? Just think all of this through!"

"Okay I will. I'll head out now!" I say.

"Okay Selena. I'll see you tomorrow!"

Oh God. What will I do? Should I accept or decline?
