Caroline's POV

"Why? Isn't Nick coming with us" I asked Alex.

"He'll be with us in a few minutes. He needs to bring his men. So that we could have a some protection" he shrugging.

"So we have a plan or we'll just go? I guess plans don't work well with me so we should just go..?" I asked Alex. Cause right now this is my mess. But Daniel just had to spoil everything. Couldn't he have atleast told me that he was going to THAT Bastard?!

Before Alex could reply I heard a buzz from my cell indicating an incoming message.

Private number: Hey Sweetheart! Meet me at the Allen Street @11. Sharp! Don't try to fool me like last time. It's about your husband;-)

"Alex?..." I called out for him speechless and pointed towards my phone. What exactly is this man actually planning? I looked at Alex who has already finished reading and turned towards the road again with his jaws clenched.

"What do you think?" I asked wanting to know his opinion.

"You shouldn't have come here Caroline. This man, whoever he is, he's plotting something really sick. Remember the texts he had sent to Daniel? Daniel had replied that even the air he breathed wouldn't be able to come near you and to which he replied back saying we'll see. He wants you to be there Caroline and we are falling into his pit like fools!" Alex exclaimed hitting the steering wheel with his hand.

"I don't know what he's planning Alex. All I know is that this my mess. I'm the one that should've been trapped and captured. But Daniel..... he should've atleast told me where he's going right?!"

"Caroline.... if you're worrying about Daniel? Then that's just waste of time sweetie. He is a different man. And you better not mess with him if you want your hands and limbs to be perfect. Well I guess you don't know the dark side to him" He said chuckling to himself.

Yeah yeah! That man! So infuriating.. Aaargh! I thought and looked out of the window and then into the mirror looking at myself. One thing that caught my attention was the black cars following us.

"Alex...?" I asked knowing that he already knew that they are following us.

"Chill.. that's Nick.... and his men." He said looking in the rearview mirror.

"His men" I asked and he nodded. Wow! Those cars look just like how they show in movies about mafia Dons.

"Caroline we are almost there. But I'll park my car here. Cause I can see Daniel's car there. Okay? Be careful. And always stay hidden!" He said with a strict face.

"OK big brother. As you say" I said bowing my head sarcastically.

I met with Nick standing outside our car waiting for us to get out. With his men of course. All in black suits wearing black goggles. Damn! Do I really know much about these two? "Are you the Mafia Boss or something?" I asked seriously.

"Uhmm... yeah. Something like that" he said not meeting my eye. I guess I really don't know much about him.

"OK guys. Listen. We'll not do much. Remember our work here is to bring back Daniel and stay hidden. Don't start a fight. We don't know what they are-" Alex started giving his instructions as usual but Nick had to interrupt.

"Only to bring back Daniel? I thought we've come here for a fight or something. To finish someone. And here he is... again! We will not stay hidden that's too... too... too tough. Difficult and cowardly!" Nick said.

"True that! Hidden? We could just go in!" I said with a pout. But we don't know what condition Daniel is in right now. I'm damn sure he's all fine. But you know as a wife I'm still scared.

"I don't care what you people want. What you can do or not. You WILL stay hidden. And remember we will NOT be the one to start a fight!" He said sternly to which Nick only rolled his eyes and agreed.

"Surround the house. But as you all heard stay hidden. And Mark.. I will send you a signal and that is when you know it's a call for attack. Only then will you attack! Okay?" He asked and the Mark guy replied saying 'yes sir'.

Daniel's car was parked infront of an old building.

"Guys wait! It's such an old burnt building including all the others around it.... all burnt. It sure will be having a back door. We'll enter from there" Nick suggested and both Alex and me agreed. What am I even doing here while all the work is done by the men.

We reached the door but Nick signalled me to keep quiet and entered inside. It took few more minutes before he came out and said "All clear. Come in. Don't make a single sound" he said and a stepped in with my heel clinking on the floor. We were all looking at each other with horrified expressions. I quickly removed my heel and kept it down quietly. Though it looked like an old building it sure had many rooms and luxurious ones let me tell you. And we kept on moving into room after room. I don't know how many rooms we actually repeated. This house was just built like a maze. And finally we stood in a room that led to two rooms. Two doors. One which was open and another closed. All three of us looked at the closed door. Nick was of course the first to jump over it.

I put my ear on the door to hear something but there's nothing. I smirked to myself and said "there's no sound"

"Meaning there's no one in that room right now" Alex just had to repeat the words in my mind.

I opened the door first only to be pulled back by these two idiots. "Wait" Nick whisper yelled and went in. "Come on, come on. Quickly" he said and me and Alex sneaked in quickly.

Ufffff!!! And this room...... appears to be a kitchen. "Where are we? Have we even come to the right house?!" I whispered and asked Alex.

And then we heard footsteps getting louder and louder everytime. "Guys! Hide!" I said to them while they were just standing blankly. I guess Alex isn't used to all this hiding and stuff, he always stands still. Always the practical one. While Nick.... funny but damn cunning and clever in such situations. Alex is more like the good boy type. Poor guy! I ran and sat inside a cupboard.. only a small hole letting me breathe and see the world. Alex and Nick were still finding places to hide since none of the places accommodated them due to their large body. Nick finally hid behind few sacks while Alex dumped some upon him so he wasn't seen and then he went to hide behind the cylinder. Though he was visible the cylinder was kept in such a place that no one would notice it. Thank God! Everyone's safe. I really don't understand Alex's logic. I would have wished to go without any disguise.

I peeked through the small hole but all I could see was long legs... of a women! A female?

I was about to fall out as I leaned on it. Shit Shit Shit! I just fell...

Thank Goodness that women is on the phone so I quickly sat back in without making a voice but her voice and blonde hair caught my attention before I could close the cupboard.

Natasha? What the hell is she doing here?! This time I didn't close the cupboard completely only so that I could hear her and see what she's doing.

"Yes Mom. This is a full proof plan- ........ -well he did plan it well. All credit goes to him. He had to gift something to his sister after so many years right."

She stopped talking I thought she cut the call... or left the room. But when I saw her she was still listening. "Mom! Please just don't put doubts into my mind. You just chill alright?! Even if Daniel woke up at the wrong time after I gave him the drink he will still be unable to talk. Well that bitch Caroline can believe whatever she wants! But Daniel is mine!" She said and put the phone into her pocket. I patted the gun that was hidden behind my shirt near my hip. I seriously wanna pack her with few bullets!

Then she quickly pulled out a tray and placed the two glasses filled with wine. But the next thing she did made it all clear. She pulled out a test tube like glass from her pocket and removed the cap and quickly spilled it into the glass on the right. "I need to hide my face from Daniel" she sang to herself and left the room.

Daniel is here.. and she's gonna get him to drink that. Oh damn! Crazy lady. Did Daniel have to sleep with her? HER? Seriously!! Argh! She needs to hide from Daniel. And according to Alex, him, me and Nick have got to hide from anyone here. And Daniel just had to hide everything from ME! What is this? Are we playing a game or something? Like Hide 'n' Seek!

Nick pushed off the sacks and got up dusting his Italian suit. Alex got up as well but now we were all looking at each other. I guess we needed a plan.

"I guess. Daniel needs us now" Alex said. "Guys we need to split up and find Daniel soon. Before he drinks that." Alex suggested.

"Yeah... Alex you go left. I'll go to the right. Caroline you go straight and... yeah. We'll be on conference. And don't cut the call not even by mistake. And keep your cells on silent. Don't care about me and Alex. But just stay hidden. And if situation calls for it you just please run out. Don't wait for us." Now Nick!

"Will you both stop preaching me?! I'm a grown up not a kid. Instead of wasting our time discussing this we need to go find that senseless friend of yours" I said. Frustration is getting the best out of me. And Natasha's gonna get it.

Where the hell is this Daniel. I guess this is the wrong way cause no one's in here. Right now I was walking in a small corridor like place. That had many doors to my left and the right side is where I came from. I was about to get in through one of the doors to my left when Nick and Alex came there.

"There's no where to go. This is the only place we haven't checked. So let's go in" Nick said while breathing heavily.

Alex opened the door slightly to peek in. "It's a big hall. All these doors connect to this hall" he said and I sat below him to see clearly what's this hall he is talking about.

We couldn't see the other half of the hall cause a curtain beside the door wasn't letting us to. There were like two men standing near the doorway on the other side with their backs facing towards us. I guess they thought we'll enter from the front door.

"Deal?" I heard the same familiar voice which I so much hated. Who almost destroyed my relationship with my father.

"Deal!" I heard Daniel's voice and then the clinking of glasses. I quickly pulled back the curtain with my hand to see clearly what's happening. There he was. My stupid husband drinking the shitty drink that that bitchy blonde gave. Atleast couldn't he have taken just a sip... why the whole glass?! Ugh! Oh Daniel! Why oh why!

Hi guys! It's been a really long time. And please don't ask me about my exams. I'm completely done with it. I feel so free right now.

And how do you like this chapter? I know it's not too long. But I guess I'll update very soon this time and the next chapter will reveal all the secrets that all of you have been waiting know about.

I since it's been so many days. I have so much to tell. And may be that's why I'm blabbering so much. Well... I do that all the time. Talking. That's my favourite ;-)
