"A named partner? You want to possess the same level of authority I have?", I say in shock.

"That is correct Gianu Cross, make me a partner and I will return", he said eating his meatballs nonchalantly.

"I can't tell if you're joking or not", I say calling his bluff.

"My best friend is a lawyer, due to breach of contract and wrongful termination I could sue the label for millions of dollars and splatter the reputation of the Diamond Star Record Label", said Asher as his eyes got dark.

~Asher POV~

"Why do you want to be a partner?", asked Gianu.

"Why do I want to be a partner of a billion-dollar record company that brings in millions of dollars every day? Gee... I wonder", I say with an evil grin. 

"So for money?", he asked.

"Make no mistake Gianu Cross, it's money that pleases the masses, as much as one would lie to deny it, money makes the world go round", I say staring him dead in the eyes.

"Let me talk to Human Resources and see what if we could strike a deal", said Gianu.

"Sure but remember if I'm not a partner, then the deal is off", I say to him as I finish my meatballs. 

"Did you finish eating already? Was it that good?", said Gianu with a smug look on his face.

What's running through that mind of yours Gianu Cross? 

"Yes, it was delicious, thanks for the meal, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to shower", I say as I light a candle.

I put the candle in the bathroom as it lit up the pitch-black room, I take my clothes off as I enter the water falling from the shower.

"This water is fucking cold!", I yell as the freezing water hits my body.

I completely forgot the power is out, so the water heater isn't working. I then flashback to my conversation with Gianu. I asked him to make me a named partner of the label. "But for real though, this water is too cold!", I yell out as my body shivered.

"Then how about I warm you up", said Gianu as he opened the shower curtain.

"Gianu! What are you doing here! Get out!", I say in shock as I stare at his naked body as he enters the shower with me.

"Turn around", he said.

"What are you .... no", I say as my face went red.

"What the terms?", I ask as I turn around.

Now I was face to face with him, he put his hands on my chest as he washed me with body wash.

"The terms are simple, you will be a named partner but I alone will remain at the top, you will be second only to me and the final decisions are all up to me, you will be my second in command, my right-hand man, my partner", said Gianu.

"Doesn't sound like equal terms", I say.

"I have no equal sir Ash", he said looking me dead in the eyes.

I could feel his cold stare branding me.

"What's to say you're not gonna fire me as soon as I step onboard?", I ask.

"Hiring and firing will be left entirely up to you, you now possess that kind of power. As for firing you, you will sign a Non Disclosure Contract, this contract binds you with the Diamond Star record label for 3 years, as long as you don't share confidential information about me or the label, you'll be fine", said Gianu.

"A 3-year contract!", I say in shock. 

 "And naturally, you'll be collecting a partner salary as well as commissions, when you sign the contract you'll receive Twenty thousand dollars for personal expenses, you'll also be collecting roughly Fifty-Five thousand dollars per month and a bonus of 5 million dollars at your 6-month mark. What do you say?", asked Gianu. 

The fuck! That's so much money, I've been working at Diamond Star for about 3 years now and the salary I've been collecting is roughly around eight thousand per month, that's with overtime! This is amazing but what's the catch?

"Think about it and let me know, discuss it with your lawyer friend if you'd like", said Gianu as he continued to rub the body wash.
