Ruqayyah 

I was a nervous wreck!

Iqraam buckled me up in the helicopter and i turned to him 

"Do you even know how to fly this death trap?" i asked him and he laughed

"Of course i do! I like to fly things as well as race them!" he winked and i felt my breath hitch at his adorble face

to be honest, i expected him to go crazy at me and leave me alone but he did nothing like that after the confession 

he knew i loved Musa alot yet he was there for me when i cried 

at times i feel like i am dreaming and all this is unreal 

he is unreal 

"You can take off your hijab and niqab- i need to put this on-" Iqraam's voice snapped me back to reality 

i turned to him and he nodded holding up a headphone 

was it a headphone?

i unpinned my niqab but left my hijab 

he laughed and leaned in putting the headphone on 

he kissed my forehead before settling back in his seat

turning to me he grinned 

"lets start our date night, shall we Mrs. Ibrahim?" he winked and i blushed 

"We shall, Mr. Ibrahim!" i said and he laughed as the helicopter roared to life 

i was right, this is a death trap!

the helicopter raised up in the air and my breathing went rapid 

he turned to me and i was half panicking 

"Hey, calm down, i am here!" he assured me and i nodded taking deep breaths 

i love heights, don't get me wrong but i definitely never thought of going in a helicopter!

I closed my eyes and leaned back on my seat

i don't know how we raised so high up in the air, but when i opened my eyes, i was stunned at the view 

"Wow- Masha Allah!" i whispered and Iqraam chuckled

"Beautiful huh?" he asked and i nodded 

the whole city was beneath us, the lights were amazing in the night and it felt like everything was within my reach 

i leaned forward and stared outside the glassed windows 

the tall buildings had lights, Christmas lights, gleaming up and reflecting off the ocean 

it was amazing 

"I love this!!" i squealed as i took out my phone trying to capture it 

but unfortuanutly, the camera quality was not good 

Iqraam laughed and handed me his phone with one hand 

I grinned and switched it on and pouted 

"It has a lock!" i muttered turning to him and he shrugged 

"Follow your name in the pin" he said and i nodded

wait- what?

"What?" i asked him and he chuckled

"Follow the letters of your name in the keypad- press it and it will open!" he said and i nodded

i pressed R U Q A Y Y A H, 7 8 7 2 9 9 2 4 

wow smart falla 

"Thanks" i muttered and the phone opened 

it was a pic of him and Zahi laughing at something 

i smiled 

they seemed happy 

shaking my head, i switched to camera and took photos 

i must say Samsung has good picture quality- 

the lights seemed to get smaller as we went high up in the sky 

i smiled as i clicked photos of the city 

it was beautiful, masha Allah 

"We are landing" he said and i nodded 

leaning back on the seat, i enjoyed the view as we landed on the land 

he unbuckled his seat belt and leaned in and did mine 

i took off the headphone and placed it in front of me 

i took my bag and waited for Iqraam to open the door of the helicopter 

(I did not know how to unlock this thing) 

he opened it and guided me out of the helicopter 

i was lucky its engine was off and its wings were not spinning to cut my throat!

he linked out arms as we walked the marble pathway to a beautiful small open walled hut 

the hut had bamboos with fire on top of them, burning bright 

i turned to him and gave him a questioning look 

he grinned back in response 

we walked into the hut and i let out a gasp of surprise 

the hut was dimly lit, but not too dim, enough to see things! 

there was a table at the near end, and flowers were in bunches all around the hut, tucked into the ceilings 

i turned to Iqraam and he grinned back at me 

'Do you like it?" he asked me standing on the tip of his toes, his hands in his pockets 

I stared at him and he seemed to tense 

without warning, i leapt up and hugged him 

damn he was tall! 

i was fairly tall too, 5'8, and i was proud of it, but he was taller and that too a good foot taller!

"Thank you, i love it!!!" i said as i hugged the life out of him 

He laughed and hugged me back 

"I am glad, now shall we?" he said and i nodded

"Theres the room- go and take off your abhaya-" he said pointing to a small room and i laughed 

i stood inside the room, small and very pretty 

i took off my abhaya and folded it neatly placing it in my bag with my niqab 

i was wearing a blue high low dress and leggings with a hoodie in my hand (I had no hoodie so i took one of his!)

what? i have fashion styles but i choose to wear abhaya on top- :D

i walked outside and his mouth hung open but he quickly recovered 

"You look........... beautiful" he breathed and i smiled at him blushing furiously 

we walked to the table and he pulled my chair for me 

awwwhhh 

'thank you" i muttered as i took a seat 

he nodded and took his seat 

"All halal just so you know" he winked and i laughed 

he opened the dishes and i raised an eyebrow 

"I had them placed here 5 minutes before arrival" he said and i laughed

there was biryani and kebab- 

"You got us shish kebab!!!?!!" i asked him and he laughed nodding 

"I knew you sorta liked it..." he said and i grinned

damn, i love this guy!!

"Shall we begin?' he asked me and i nodded 

saying 'Bismillah' we both began 

the biryani was delicious and kebab was amazing!!!!!!!!

after our dinner, he said he had another surprise

we stood up and he put everything on the counter (i tried helping him but he shook his head  saying "Its my date to you!") 

he then, walked to me with two bowl in his hands

he placed it infront of me and i grinned in pleasure 

who doesn't love ice cream?!

it was vanilla, topped with chocolate and a strawberry at the top with small spoons 

amazing!

we laughed as we ate the dessert, asked questions and well, talked 

from anything to everything!

i was actually laughing at his jokes!!

then we said our Isha prayers together, which i was glad for and then headed outside 

"So just another one and we head home" he said and i nodded

he explained how Shumayll helped him set this up and how he really wanted to do this 

"Where are we going?" i asked him as we walked, fingers entwined into the woods 

the hut had a sea view infront of it and a woods view beside it!

so now we are walking into the woods, or jungle or- something because its not as woody- like the woods, i mean, there are not a lot of trees and the moonlight can easily seep in from the canopy

the winds blew swiftly and i inched closer into my hoodie 

we walked lazily until he came to a stop 

i turned my head and looked around the place 

"What is this place?" i asked him and he laughed before taking my hand and walking ahead

the lights switched on one by one as we walked and i gasped in surprise again 

but this one outdated everything else 

it was so amazing!!

we were walking on the path that was surrounded by water- pond water with water lillies and other flowers on it 

the flowers had light in the middle as they blossomed 

this was............ beauty!!!

we walked until we came to a huge circle in the middle of the pond

he held my waist and pulled me to him as he stared deep into my eyes

"Will you please forget everything today and have this dance with me?" he whispered nudging my cheek with his cute nose and i blushed 

"I did not know you danced...." i whispered closing my eyes and feeling the winds coolness on my body and his body heat warming it up 

"I don't- but i can try-" he chuckled and i laughed 

"Sure you can.." i said and he nodded 

he took a step back and held out his hand, slightly bowing down 

"May I have this dance, mi lady?" he asked and i smiled 

placing my hand in his, music began to play and he guided us to the middle of the circle 

placing my hands around his neck, he placed his hands on my hips and we began to sway 

it took me a while to actually get into the beats of the song and realize this was the song 'Flashlight by Jessi J" 

we swayed to it and i let my head rest on his chest 

"How do you know about that song?" i asked him absentmindedly swaying to it 

his laughter vibrated his chest and i looked up to his beautiful face

"Shumayll" he replied and i laughed 

of course 

he twirled me on the beat of the song and we danced in every possible way 

on the last note, he picked me up and spun me around laughing 

we had fun 

once the song ended, we stood here, in each others arms, (not that i am complaining), our foreheads pressed together as we slowly panted 

he had to lean down a little though 

a smile made its way to my face and i stood straight

he gave me a puzzled look and i laughed

"I loved tonight" i said and he nodded 

he gestured towards the walkway and we walked silently away from the main walkway 

He stopped walking suddenly, knelt down and folded up his jeans 

"What are you doing?" i asked him and he looked up to me and grinned

he opened his shoe laces and took off his shoe and socks 

"Will you fold up your leggings or do i have to do that for you?" he asked me and i blushed 

kneeling down, i folded up the leggings a little bit and took off my shoes 

"Come on" he said as he held my hand with one hand and held his shoes in another 

i swung my shoes as we walked barefoot on the wooden pathway 

he came to a stop and i looked around me 

it was the end of the pathway but it was not a pier

the water was flowing and it felt refreshing 

he set down on the walkway and looked up to me 

'Come on!" he said patting on the space beside him 

i shook my head 

"What if the water has fishes? will they bite?" i asked him genuinely concerned about my poor feet 

in return he laughed at me 

"No- no fishes, i promise" he said and i gave him a questioning look 

"I promise," he said as he pulled my hand down 

i set on the walkway with my legs up 

he pushed them and the water hit my legs making me shiver

it was cold!!

he laughed and wrapped his arm around me and i inched closer into his warmth 

"Look" he said pointing to the stars above and i stared at it 

"Beautiful" i muttered as i stared at them 

the longer i stared at the stars, the more beautiful it looked 

"I know" he replied and i knew he was staring at me instead of the skies

i sighed and leaned on his shoulder 

we set in silence and then it clicked me 

"Where is your phone?" i asked him and he gave me a confused look 

"here, why?" he asked me and i grinned

"Can i have it?" i asked and he nodded 

shuffling he gave me his phone from his pocket 

"Smilleee!!" i said as i took a selfie with him 

he looked away and i pouted 

"Pleassee?" i asked him and he chuckled 

"Just one?" i said and he sighed 

'Fine-" he said turning to the camera 

i hit the camera button and it captured the perfect picture 

he was staring down at me and i was smiling stupidly at the camera 

clique pic? 

haha yes!

I showed him the photo and he smiled

"Picture perfect" he said and i nodded giddily going through his phone 

i saw a pic of mine and i turned to ask him about it but...........

his lips brushed mine and we both froze 

Oh. My. Allah!
