The Bear and Bow was the restaurant of the town owned by Jack's uncle Sandy. All the townspeople came and went. The food was decent and the decor was subtle and homey. Each of the four family's always celebrated here whether it was birthdays or good grades or not getting detention for a whole week. It was the perfect place to have Merida's acceptance party.

Merida was having an amazing time but something was tugging at the back of her mind. In a month or two Rapunzel and Jack wouldn't be on the same campus as her. It was great that she had Hiccup with her but who was going to force her to go shopping like Punze or prank the vice principal by putting whoopi cushions all over the office floor like Jack. Sure they would visit but she's heard stories about how friends often drift apart.

"Hey you okay?" Rapunzel asked her best friend.

"Yeah I was just thinking about the future." She replied.

"Hey it's going to be alright." Rapunzel assured her.

"Yeah we'll visit and you've got Hiccup." Jack said.

"I know it's just."

"Nope no just I promise you Merida all of us will be best friends ten years from now laughing at our high school reunion or college reunion for that matter, talking about the old days." Jack said.

"You promise?" Merida asked.

"Of course!" He said.

"Alright attention!" Elinor said.

"I just- well we just wanted to make a toast to you four." Elinor said

"To our children. All very different but alike in many ways. And congrats to them making it into their colleges!" Elinor toasted.

The combined tables cheered.

"Oh we have something for you guys too!" Rapunzel said.

"Oh yeah that's right!!" Merida said.

"What is it?" Mrs. Frost asked.

"You'll see mom." Jack said.

"Hiccup you're up first." Merida said.

"Alright, well dad I just wanted to say that I want to thank you for accepting who I am. I know it was tough not being the typical son but hey at least I like fixing up cars! That's manly right?" Hiccup joked as the group chuckled.

"Anyway I'm glad you've always been there for me and encouraged my interests. And I want to thank you for coming to everyone of my science fairs and thank you for letting me be me. Thanks for being a great dad." Hiccup finished.

"Come here son." Stoick said and wrapped Hiccup in a big hug.

"Now mom and dad it's my turn." Rapunzel said.

"Well you two have been the best parents a kid could have. Even though you said I had the grades to become a doctor or a rocket scientist you still were okay with me choosing to get my art degree. That means so much to me. Thank you for always being supportive of my choices and my dreams. I couldn't have done it without either if you." Rapunzel said.

"Oh sweetie that was lovely." Rapunzel's mother said.

"Alright party girl's turn." Jack said.

"Mum, Dad, I know I could be a little stubborn sometimes but you pushed me towards my goals. You two are part of the reason I'm going to the school of my dreams and why I have one of the highest grades in my graduating class. Thank you for pushing me and letting me do archery and sports and all the stuff that makes me happy." She finished.

"I'm going to miss ya lass." Fergus said.

"So am I, my little girl." Elinor said.

"Last but certainly not least mother Frost." Jack said.

"Alright mom I just want to say you deserve mother of the year. I was probably the most stubborn and let's just face it wild child there was"

"What do mean was, ye still are!" Merida commented.

"Hey your record's not squeaky clean either ms police child's daughter." Jack said.

"Back to what I was saying I was a handful and you still never gave up on me. Even when I had a really bad day,week, month, year you still never gave up on me. You believed in me when most didn't. For awhile I wasn't sure I was even going to graduate high school. Now look at me! I'm going to college. Just like you said I would. Well I did it mom. And it's thanks to you," Jack said.

Tears welt up in Mrs. Frost's eyes. "I'm so proud if you Jackson."

"I know." Jack said hugging her.

"Well here's to college!" Rapunzel said lifting her drink.

"To college!!!!" The group cheered.

...****15 years later****...

"Rapunzel hurry up we're going to miss the reunion!" Merida said knocking on her friend's bedroom door.

"Hold on! I'm still doing my hair." Rapunzel said.

"Oh bloody hell I thought when you chopped most of it off this wasn't going to be a problem anymore." Merida said straightening out her wrist watch. The 33 year old was still her old fiery self. She wore her nice teal knee length dress with her blazer. She was now a physical therapist.

"Punze it's me and Hiccup's college reunion I doubt they'll care if your hair is less then perfect.

"There I'm done." Rapunzel said coming out of the bathroom.

She had her hair shoulder length now and it was brunette. She still had her optimistic personality and was now an art teacher. She was dressed in a pink sundress and a white cardigan.

They got in the car where Hiccup was waiting for them.

"Alright all settled?" He asked.

"Yup Rapunzel being late as usual." Merida said.

"You can't rush perfection Mer." She replied.

"Well let's go, Jack's meeting us at Stanford campus. Right?"

"Yeah he's coming back from work." She said.

"Great!" Let's go see Jack Frost shall we?" Hiccup said.

"Oh I can't wait to see Anna and Elsa! I haven't seen them since Christmas!" Rapunzel cheered.

Anna had taken a break from traveling and finally decided it was time for her to go to college and she ended up going to Stanford with Hiccup and Merida. She was now a news reporter on the east coast. Elsa had gone to the Olympics and won a silver metal for figure skating. However she also made art with her ice sculpting and now makes ice sculptures for parties and weddings and also trains figure skaters.

They were still on the road when they heard sirens behind them.

"Not again!" Merida said.

"Well it's not going to stop, go on Hiccup pull over." Rapunzel said.

Hiccup pulled over on the side of the road and put the car in park.

He heard the sirens stop and heard the engine of the police car cease.

A tall young officer got out of the car and went up to the window.

"Uh excuse me civilians but I do believe that this is a 30 mile limit and you were going at 20." The officer said.

"Jack quit it we're going to be late because of you." Merida said.

"Hey I'm just trying to obey the law here you wouldn't want me to get your dad all the way from New Jersey to California for back up would we Mrs. Haddock?" Jack said smirking in his uniform.

"Oh shut up or I'll make you babysit the twins again." Merida said.

"I'm sure Flynn would love to see Peder and Hallie." Jack said

"You're son has turned out so sweet that must've been all of Rapunzel's side." Merida said

"Yup he got my good looks and charm."

"Just get in and park your shiny little police car Frost we're going to be late."

"Yes mom." Jack said heading back to his police car to get his things.

"Out of all the jobs in the world I still can't believe your husband ended up as a police officer." Merida said.

"Well he is quite happy with it. Plus he gets his own squad car" Rapunzel said.

Jack got into Hiccup's car.

"Yeah think the badge has gone to your head Jack."

"Of course not! I just saved many people from the road from your reckless grandma driving."

"Oh he's just having a little fun." Rapunzel said.

"Well at least I don't have to drive with him." Merida said.

"What ever miss sharp turns." Jack said.

"Hey!"

"And now you see why I'm driving the car." Hiccup said.

"I'm not that bad of a driver!" Merida said.

"If it weren't for Jack you would've gotten 10 speeding tickets instead of 2 in the past two months." Rapunzel said.

"Not true and Jack gave me one of those two anyway!" She said.

"Uh huh. Alright whatever you say honey." Hiccup said.

"Don't you honey me Mr. Architect."

"Hey my partner was with me. She's the one who ticketed you."

"Tell Thiana I said thanks." Merida stated.

"God this reminds me of our Roadtrip we took our senior year." Hiccup said.

"Oh yeah when you put all those damn animals in my car. And gave my sister Aster who just had to have a bunny friend who happened to be pregnant. My house is filled with rabbits because of that trip." Jack said.

"Serves you right for almost running him over." Rapunzel said.

"Hey remember when Hiccup and Jack got chased by a bear." Merida said.

"Oh my god I totally remember that!" Rapunzel laughed.

"I have never ran that fast in my life." Hiccup said chuckling

"Hey Merida I kept my promise." Jack said.

"What?"

"You said you were worried about us but look here we are 15 years and laughing talking about old times on our way to a reunion."

"Hmm well I guess your right." She said.

"That's a first can I get you to say that again I want it as my ringtone." Jack said.

"Oh shut up." Merida said.

They all laughed and talked more about the past. The four best friends had grown up with each other and stayed together. And they still have adventures ahead
