Stay With Me (Two OCs of mine ^^ Sam Smith)
Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one night stand.
Universia looked bside him and saw his beloved Galaxia sleep peacefully. He took off his black glasses and looked at her pink hair that framed her light pink skin. He didn't want to have to say goodbye, but he had a Queen to serve and if she was going to resist, he would have to not only leave her, but kill her too.
But I still need love, 'cause I'm just a man.
Universia was almost as old as time, but he looked like he was in his early twenties. He had never felt love in his life until he met Galaxia. They had only met the day before, and she was working with the resistance, but he couldn't help himself. She was as bright as the day and as beautiful as the moon.
These nights never seem to go to plan.
He had onl intended to go on one date with her and then leave, but as per usual, things turned out to be more complicated than he anticipated.
But I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?
Galaxia opened her eyes and looked at the man next to her. She smiled at him, that dazzling smile like 1,000 stars, and hugged him. She loved everyone and didn't want the Evil Queen to keep taking that ability to love away from the people of Quaza. She knew that Universia had fallen in love with her, but she couldn't stay. She squeezed his hand and rested her head on his shoulder.
Oh won't you, stay with me?
Universia looked down at her, his eyes full of emotion but his face and body showing nothing. "Galaxia, please stay here with me..." He said while taking in her small frame. She was wearing an oversized shirt, for she was too poor to afford clothes that fit properly, and a pair of tattered old shorts.
'Cause you're, all I need.
Galaxia looked at him and gave him a sad smile. Her purple eyes screamed that she wanted to stay, but her mouth let out in a very quiet, whispery voice as sweet as honey, "I can't." He looked down at her and he kissed her forehead. "You're all I need..." He said in his deep, serious voice that showed no emotion.
This ain't love, that's clear to see.
Galaxia looked up at him, but she saw nothing but a longing empitness inside him. He couldn't love her, but he could be fooled into thinking so. "You don't love me though, Universia. It's obvious." She said in her quiet, sweet voice. Her hot pink curls fell onto his shoulder and he wrapped his arms around her.
But darling, stay with me.
"Please... stay with me." Universia said in a masculine monotone voice, like a strong robot. Galaxia cupped his face with her hand and gave him a sad smile while putting on her pink glasses. "I can't..." She said. For the first time in his life, Universia felt himself begin to cry. It wasn't anything much, he just had tears stream down his face and a small frown appear on his face.
Why am I so emotional?
Universia quickly brushed the tears away and put his arms around the small girl's waist. "I am not usually like this... I can be stronger than this. I can love you and protect you. We can live together happily." He said, his voice had a hint of sadness in it.
No it's not a good look, gain some self control.
Galaxia saw that his eyes held a sadness and a wanting when he looked at her. She hugged him tightly when she saw tears crawl slowly down his cheeks. Universia tried to regain his composure.
And deep down I know this never works.
Universia knew that the last times that he'd tried to find love, with men, women, and even neither, he would get turned down and would be left. He found love in this petite, beautiful girl. She was so kind and soft and she loved him. He just needed to get her to stay. To break the chain of tears.
But you can leave with me so it doesn't hurt.
Galaxia didn't want to stay here with him and only fall deeper in love with him, just to have him abandon her. So she decided that they would leave together and then part ways.
Oh won't you, stay with me?
Universia got up and changed himself. He wore his usual uniform, consisting of a navy blue jacket and black pants and put on his black sunglasses. He ran a hand through his straight dark blue hair. He just wanted this girl to love him and care for him the way he loves and cares for her. He just wanted her to stay with him.
'Cause you're all I need.
Universia needed her so he could become a better person. So he could see the light and change his ways. So he could learn to protect those who truly needed protection and love those who needed loving.
This ain't love it's clear to see.
Galaxia knew that this wasn't love. He would say that he loved her and he would kiss her and hug her and do all those romantic things, and then leave her once he changed his ways. He would drop her just as easily as he'd picked her up. She couldn't deal with more abandonment and hatred in her life anymore.
But darling, stay with me.
Galaxia knew that even if she did stay, the chances of him leaving her and moving on were too great to ignore. She would have to decline.
Oh won't you, stay, with me?
Universia walked outside into the dark daylight. The sky was dark red and the clouds were rust-colored and the sun was black, as usual on this planet of evil. The black and brown houses and shacks in the distance were filled with every evil imaginable and to make things worse, some houses were on fire and the sounds of small children screaming in pain and the smell of burning flesh hung thick in the air. Universia was used to it, for he grew up on this planet, but Galaxia was not.
'Cause you're all I need.
Galaxia looked at him and saw how unfazed he was by this. This was normal for him. On this planet, you got arrested for doing something good. The more crime there was, the better the planet was. Children were taught the difference between right and wrong and when they turned 13, they could choose to stay on the planet or go to Htrae or Bikno. Most chose to stay, but some chose to leave to pursue better lives and go somewhere they could do good and get rewarded for it. The only children not allowed to choose were anyone from the royal family or anyone who was destined to marry the royal family. Universia was destined to marry the youngest princess. Galaxia knew that she would have to stay with Universia and get him off this planet and teach him how to be good, even if he didn't need her afterwards anymore.
This ain't love, that's clear, to see.
Galaxia and Universia looked at each other and shared one last kiss before they both thought they'd be going their seperate ways.
But darling, stay, with me.
Neither of them moved. They both needed each other, even if they didn't want to admit it.
Oh won't you stay with me?
"Stay with me." Universia said while holding both of Galaxia's small, pink hands in his big, blue ones.
'Cause you're all I need.
Galaxia nodded her head and spoke softly. "I need you."
This ain't love it's clear to see.
Universia followed Galaxia to the warp portal to Bikno. He was going to stay with her. Even though he didn't actually feel any love towards her. Galaxia was fooled into thinking he did love her.
But darling, stay with me.
