UGH DANG IT I MISSED IT!!!!!!

last week was my official "Wattpad Birthday" and i completely forgot!!!! I feel so bad...

But yeah I have been a Writer on Wattpad for 1 year and 6 days now! So, while the moment lasts, I'm gonna tell you a story....

"Come on, Rose! You have to get an account!" my friend said. She'd been telling me about this website for about a month now, and I had never really thought much of it. "While you are next to a computer, sign up now." 

My best friend, Amy, was usually not very intimidating. Don't let her teal dip-dyed hair and graphic tees fool you. She was shy, and not aggressive at all. So I know she meant business with this "Wattpad" thing when she pushed me into the chair in front of the computer and forced me to sign up. 

"Okay," she said, "what username do you want?" 

Hmm. I was going through my "Leo Valdez" stage at the time (Leo is still life, just in case you're wondering). I had a little Leo poster hung up on my ceiling that way he was the first thing I saw in the morning and the last thing I saw before I went to sleep. I had taken all my Heroes of Olympus books and underlined Leo's name throughout the entire series. I had Leo Fanart as my homescreen for my tablet. I had attempted to draw Valdez fanart (It turned out terrible). I could only think of one thing to be my username:

"Rosevaldez310, " I told her. "That's gonna be my username." 

Next I had to chose five books to be in my library, and guess what! They all had to do with the Percy Jackson series/Leo Valdez! Yep. I was serious. Leo Valdez was my first love.

FAST FORWARD TWO DAYS!

"Aaaaand....done!'' I announced to know one in particular. I had just finished the first part of a book I planned to write (but never did. Sorry, I still don't plan to finish it). It was called "Defiance". I was so proud. I read the half page chapter over and over again. The highlight of my day was checking my Wattpad account and seeing that my book was up five or six reads because I had some free time in computer lab that day. 

I remember pulling my mum away from her textbook that she had to study for her huge exam coming up just to show her that my book had reached twenty reads. 

FAST FORWARD ABOUT TWO MONTHS!

One of my friends, Marionette Monroe, sat next to me in computer class. She had a crush on this one guy (that's in the past, he's a pretty big jerk and a player) so she was just joking around and told me to write a book about the blossoming relationship of her and this guy. So I opened up Wattpad, clicked the "New Story" tab, and officially started my book, Panic! At the Thought of Boys. No plans to finish that one, either. Sorry, not sorry. 

For a while that was my most popular book, until about four months after that, when I created my poem book, Sad Stories to Make Fangirls Cry. Now that book has more than 6.6k reads, almost 1k votes, and was ranked 60th in Poetry. 

FAST FORWARD TO THE PRESENT!

My Wattpad journey has been incredible, and I can only expect more for the future. 

I just want to thank The-Magic-Realm, for being the reason I am on this website 24/7, and all of you wonderful, amazing, fan-freaking-tastic people reading this. You are all fantabulus!
