Hours later

*It was getting late but izuku was nowhere near from BUA, he got a called and he answered*

Izuku:izuku mido...izuku goodwitch speaking

Pyrrha:izuku where are you? Everyone else is already at the dorm

Izuku: visiting the goodwitch went long i probably won't be there until 2 in the morning don't worry I'll be there for the morning. Trust me nothing is gonna stop me tomorrow

Pyrrha:alright just be careful ruby won't tell you this but she worries about you

Izuku:that's nice. But relax I'll be fine, i gotta go I'll see you all tomorrow

*Izuku hung up before Pyrrha could say anything else not having the mental strength to deal with them after the goodwitch outcome, he did the only thing he could to relax and just enjoyed the drive listening to music as the soft sound of the raindrops clashing with his car filled the air

Scene change

*Izuku made it to his location and walked inside the dark abandoned warehouse*

Izuku:you know it wouldn't kill you to have this meetings somewhere more...well better like a nice hotel

*The lights turned on and out came cinder and her henchman. Cinder crossed her arms leaning against the table*

Cinder:your in no position to decide were we meet up as long as you want my help

Izuku:well if we're being technical i really only need emerald's help but I'm not stupid enough to believe that she would help me unless you tell her too

*Izuku walked up standing next to jaune who kept a serious frown on his face*

Jaune:so tomorrow's the day... tomorrow BUA falls

Mercury:not just BUA all of vale will fall man i can't wait

Izuku:hm. So many innocent people live will never be the same again so many death so much....justice is the best way i can say that

*Izuku said with a mix of a cackle and a smile looking down at the map and plan for tomorrow*

Cinder:yes, but izuku don't you forget our agreement

*Izuku smirked walking to cinder grabbing her hand and bowing while kissing that hand*

Izuku:of course not my dear after you help me with my mission I'll help you with yours. Once what i have plan is done it will create the perfect distraction for you and then well....

*Izuku silver eye shined as the map of vale was burned with white fire, showing izuku wasn't all that truthful with ruby hiding some....features his silver eyes gave him*

Izuku:the world will be that much closer of being yours

Cinder:lovely. Then lets go over the plan one final time to make sure no one screws up

Izuku:i think he was talking to you there buddy

*Izuku said looking at mercury who frowned looking back at him. They've spend a good hour going over there plan as cinder will not accept any mistake not when she's this close to her goal, a goal she will never see if izuku has his say in it. At the end izuku volunteered in to giving jaune a ride home, and that's where we see our protagonist now*

Jaune:she disgust me...

*Jaune said with a growl thinking over that meeting with cinder it made him sick to his stomach*

Izuku:i know the whole meeting she only talked about her, her power, her plans, her victory when it's not hers it's Salem's victory

*Izuku said with a small smile on his face, jaune looked at him skeptically*

Jaune:then why were you singing her praises so much?

Izuku:all part of the plan muscles all part of the plan. I need to stay in her good part for our plans to work. Believe me she won't get to see another sunset after tomorrow and your mistress will reward you

Jaune:i know she will but what do you get out of all this?

*Izuku stopped at the red light and looked at jaune smiling at him the same smile he gave Adam*

Izuku:why to kill cinder of course. And that's why you can trust me jaune my friend, because my reasons for helping you are completely selfish. Now how about some music to distract us

*Izuku said turning on the radio to end the conversation, Jaune looked out the window, he couldn't tell you if it was the time of night, the music or the author needing to fill his word quota but jaune felt more relax, relax enough to let his guard down*

Jaune:i....i never wanted this you know

Izuku:oh?

*Izuku said looking at Jaune faking interest in his backstory*

Jaune:i know you remember, i forged the papers to try and get in to BUA but i got caught. I...i just wanted to help people to become a great hero like my father and his father before him

Izuku:and you are. You just became a hero for another team but your still a hero in the eyes of those on your side

Jaune: last i checked heroes don't go out killing the Innocent

Izuku:who said there innocent? If the roles were reversed do you think anyone out here would lift a finger to help a poor defenseless boy like what we used to be? I can tell you from personal experience they won't. Human beings be it regular or faunus are selfish creatures, the world itself it a selfish uncaring place so tell me jaune Arc what makes them so innocent when they never done anything to help us. Better yet answer me this. Why do you feel like you should apologize for the monster we've become? No one ever apologized for making us this way

*Izuku parked his car and signaled jaune to get out, he did. Izuku rolled dowb his window and looked at the easily manipulable boy*

Izuku:i can't have you doubting yourself when we're so close to the end jauney boy so take a rest and remember everything you've done you've done for the glory of your queen

*Jaune nodded and walked inside his apartment, Izuku pulled up his window and drove off to BUA*

Scene change

*It was 1 in the morning and we see izuku walking the halls of the school not in any hurry to make it to his dorm. That's when he heard the unmistakable sound of the microwave and someone shushing it so he followed*

Izuku:well color me red for surprise rubes what you doing up?

Ruby:eep!

*Ruby turned around her mouth full of cookies as she tried explaining herself only getting cookie crumbs all over izuku's outfit*

Izuku: lovely

*Izuku said shaking the crumbs off it as ruby swallowed and drank her now warm milk*

Ruby:s...sorry you gave me a scare for a second i thought your were Weiss, she hates it when I have a midnight snack, what are you doing up?

Izuku; couldn't really sleep decided to have a small walk. Come on let's sit I'll keep you company as you finish your milk and cookies

*Ruby nodded and so brother and sister sat down with izuku stealing one or two cookies from ruby's plate*

Ruby:exited for tomorrow?

Izuku;oh very, it will be a day no one will forget. I mean silver eyes vs silver eyes when will a fight like that ever happen again?

Ruby;i know right?! I promise I won't him back I'll give it my all!!

Izuku:same here. You know...i like this

Ruby:hm?

Izuku;just....you and me together like this you know? Kinda wish we didn't lose so many years from not knowing each other

*Ruby sighed and rested her head on her brothers shoulder with a sad smile on her face*

Ruby:i feel the same way but we need to let the past die

Izuku:you don't need to sugar coated rubes i agree

Ruby;r..really?!

*Ruby looked at izuku extremely hopeful, izuku for his part just gave her a soft smile and kissed her forehead*

Izuku:yeah, you, Glynda, nemuri, nana, our friends. If i don't let go of the past i will lose them all i don't want that i like this new life i have one where i have a little sister to annoy and tease

*Izuku said giving her a small tickle making ruby giggle. Ruby just sighed feeling happy*

Izuku:don't get me wrong i will never forgive him but it's about time i let go

Ruby:good I'm glad for you very....very glad...

*Ruby said yawning cuddling closer to izuku the warm milk taking affect, izuku activated his silver eye and a blanket came out covering them both. Ruby fell alseep with izuku soon joining her. Of course every single word izuku just told her was an utter and complete lie but for ruby it was real and that's what Izuku wanted. To give her a good memory to hold on to before everything went down and her world forever change*
