*Everybody was in goodwitch's class izuku glanced at team RWBY, all 4 of them looked dead tired, izuku made it back to BUA at 2 in the morning he could only imagine when the 4 girls came back, but his eyes stayed in Blake no one said anything but her eyes were puffy and red making him break his mask for a bit and smile an evil grin*

Izuku"i can only imagine what Adam showed her he's such a good puppet, wonder if there's a way to keep him in every path and not just the faunus path hm... I'll need to think about this deeply but let's leave that for a later date and just enjoy the show"

*Izuku thought putting his mask back on smiling proudly as Pyrrha was kicking Cardin's ass, and not just him but his whole team as the fight was a 1v4 and the fight was completely one sided. Pyrrha slammed Cardin down before she backflipped kicking him in the head as he went flying with a thud, he shakily got up as Glynda walked in between them*

Glynda:and that's match another pathetic display from everyone

*Glynda glanced around seeing the remaining teams -rwby cower in fear no one wanted to fight Pyrrha so Glynda had to choose one*

Glynda:as for you miss Nikos you should have no problem qualifying for the tournament

Pyrrha:thank you professor

Glynda:alright now i know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match any volunteers?

???: I'll do it

*That voice, it gave izuku a small annoyance as all eyes were locked in on the voice*

*mercury black 1/2 of his replacement what's annoying of izuku is that he doesn't know why he's here and not being the one who holds the cards is something izuku simply can't stand, although in a small way it made izuku amused*

Izuku"BUA has a traitor and the ozma has no idea oh how lovely"

Glynda:mercury black, very well who wants to...

Izuku:I'll do I can see it in his eyes he wants to fight Pyrrha but she needs a break as her leader I'll fight in her place

*Mercury frown slightly cinder wanted him to fight Pyrrha not him this will cause problems for him*

Glynda:i have to agree very well the fight will be izuku Midoriya vs mercury black both contestant come on down

*They did as they walked down they looked at each other one smirking the other frowning*

Izuku:you know i wonder....

*Izuku whisper making mercury look at him*

Izuku:i wonder if you're father was right about you and you're only good for taking a beating

*Izuku smirked as mercury eyes showed true anger this was part of izuku's plan since his gut was telling him mercury was gonna forfeit and izuku couldn't have that he needed to know mercury's abilities even if the learning experience will be painful. Soon enough both fighters were side to side in the small area staring at each other mercury with a hateful glare while izuku kept his calculated smile*

Glynda:and begin

*As soon as Glynda said those words, mercury took the first move as he lunged at izuku for a kick while izuku stood there and parried the attack, mercury jumped back as izuku winced his wounds from ruby that night still not fully healed*

Izuku"oh yes this lesson is going to be extra painful for me"

*Mercury landed on the ground before jumping back on the action delivering a fury of kicks to izuku who dodged as many as he could getting hit on purpose to not give away his hand*

Izuku:is that all the strength you've got? No wonder you're dad thought you were such a disappointment

*Mercury growled as mercury went for another kick only this time, a bullet went shooting out of his heel towards Izuku the world's slowed down for izuku as he calculated his options*

Izuku"if i dodge it will show I'm holding back, the way the bullet is coming it will be a fatal blow my best bet would be...."

*Izuku moved his body in such a way that the bullet shot his shoulder making him grunt in pain as everyone gasped*

Izuku:oh please don't look so surprise....

*The wound quickly filled with a black goo that healed him everyone thought it was just his quirk but those few knew it was his Grimm*

Izuku:i guess i should show initiative and show what my teammate Pyrrha has taught me what a pain i much prefer playing in the shadows

*Izuku lunged forward as mercury was still in a state of shock and punched him in the gut sending him up a few inches*

Izuku:what's wrong boy you've gone soft?

*Izuku whispered making mercury's eyes dilate as those words brought him back to his childhood, his father, and a belt*

*Izuku jumped out of the way as he glanced at the surveillance camera that cinder was no doubt watching from*

Izuku:i think i pushed him a tad to far

*Izuku turned his eyes in surprise as just was mercury was about to attack him, mercury disappeared*

Izuku"oh? Teleportation quirk? Maybe a speed base quirk?"

*Izuku didn't get much time to think on it, as he felt a immense amount of pain coming from his head as mercury appeared behind him using the momentum and his full force mercury side kicked izuku at his head sending him flying with such force the impact broke, glynda's desk. Izuku spits out blood his hair covering his eyes as he smiled*

Izuku:ah, now i see metallic legs by the force of them must be some high grade shit maybe tungsten i suggest you forfeit now...

*Izuku said slowly getting up wobbly making mercury scoffed*

Mercury:why is that? Because you found out i have metal legs suddenly you know exactly how to beat me?

Izuku:no i have no physical way to beat you but that doesn't matter anymore this game is over

*Izuku said casually walking to mercury who was in a fighting position*

Izuku:you are strong, very strong in fact but not very bright tell me how do you think she'll react?

Mercury:wha....

*The pieces started to piece together inside his mind as he felt izuku throw his arm on his shoulder and whisper in his ear*

Izuku:you gave away you're hand, i now know what you have to offer how do you think cinder will react that you let you're emotions get the better of you hm?

*Mercury eyes went wide as his face went pale he raised his hands in the air*

Mercury:i forfeit!!

*Everyone was in a state of shock this was a one sided fight, mercury was winning and now? He gave up looking terrified, but izuku understood that fear*

Izuku"they're many monsters in this world like myself and cinder is one of them that's what attracted me so much of her"

*Izuku thought with a smirk as he walked back to his seat with a hell of a headache he made it half way before his injuries caught up to him and he collapsed on the stairs"

Scene change

Much later

Cinder:jaune again

*Juane grabbed mercury by the back before punching him with full strength in his gut breaking 3 ribs, we see cinder, emerald, jaune, and mercury in they're temporary hideout in an abandoned building and Jaune was beating mercury mercilessly this has been going for hours, this was mercury punishment for falling in to izuku's obvious trap. Cinder raised her hand to signal Jaune to stop, slowly cinder made her way to mercury who was coughing up blood violently, she grabbed his hair and made him look at her in the eyes*

Cinder: I'm sorrounded by incompetent idiots if you weren't still slightly useful i would make him kill you where you stand you don't to a move if i don't tell you am i understood?

Mercury:cr...cristal....

*Cinder let mercury fall in the pool of his own blood as she walked away frowning slightly, thinking of that damn wolf*

Cinder"mistress Salem is a patient woman Mr. Wolf but I'm not, i will find you where you're keeping that final piece of the machine if it kills me or better yet if it kills someone you love...."

*Emerald shuttered slightly seeing that venomous smile on top cinder's face as she and Jaune followed her god only knows what plan she has cooked up*
