Name: Callum Sables

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Short, has curly brown hair, light skin, and brown eyes, has been described as scrawny.

Clothing: Usually wears t-shirts with some sort of design on them, usually brighter colors like red, yellow, and orange. Always wears gym shoes.

Personality: Can be annoying, but he's usually kind to others. Makes jokes to try to shrug off bad situations. Loves sports, but he isn't absolutely opposed to reading, and has some books that he has enjoyed.

Reaction to Virus: Bicentennial

Mutations: His skin has taken on almost a scaly and hard quality. He is able to jump extremely high, and can sometimes stick to walls if he tries really hard.

Weapons: He learned how to use a handgun in the days after the apocalypse started, but also is good at hand-to-hand combat.

Backstory: Was an only child, and his father was one of the scientists in the factory where the disease originated. His mother died of the disease.

Clothing: Usually wears a purple t-shirt and a gray jacket tied around her waist, along with ripped bootcut jeans and combat boots. Always has a silver bracelet on - it was a gift from her mother and the only thing she has left to remember her by.

Personality: Sarcastic, arrogant, and realistic, but deadly in a fight. Tends to talk a lot and is extremely creative and intelligent.

Mutations: Has a wolf's fangs, claws, ears, and tail.

Weapons: Always carries a bow and a quiver of arrows.

Backstory: Ellie used to live on a farm out in the country with her grandparents, because her parents died in a car accident when she was young and she was an only child. Her grandparents were not Bicentennials, and when they died, she took to wandering the streets. After a while, she met up with another Bicentennial named Kami, who had a limp because of an old accident. They became close friends, even though Kami was pretty much the opposite of Ellie. One day, Ellie and Kami wandered into a Bicentennial gang's territory and were split up as they ran from the members. Ellie never saw Kami again. She later met a Bicentennial named Ethan, who she also grew close to, but he betrayed her to the same gang that supposedly killed Kami. Ellie now tries to hide her past and mask her sadness with jokes and sarcasm, but her sadness is still there.

Personality: Is shy, usually quiet, observant. Is optimistic, however.

Backstory: Has lived on the streets her whole life, so the virus didn't make much difference to her. Her older sister, Abagail, protected her for a while, but left eventually. Since then, she's learned to fend for herself.

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: A short girl with the same skin tone as Lani. Her brown hair, however, is always done up in braids or a bun. She has a bit of muscle to her, and her eyes are a deep brown.

Clothing: Tank tops, sweatpants, and gym shoes are what Abby prefers to wear, but she'll really take anything she can find. One distinct feature about Abby's clothes is that she always wears a pair of elbow-length black gloves.  

Personality: Abby appears relatively normal at a first look, but she has a mean streak. Before the apocalypse happened, she loved to gossip, play sports, and just be a 'popular' girl. After the virus struck, however, she changed. While she kept her mean streak, the gossip went away. Instead, she became overly focused on survival. She was protective of Lani, but in a manipulative sort of way. Abby would always find a way to get what she wanted. She is also distracted and snappish most of the time, and doesn't keep her attention on one thing for long.

Reaction to Virus: Bicentennial

Mutations: Abby can feed on other people's life forces. This means that she can suck the energy out of others and use it for her own (and distribute it to others as well). However, this power is dangerous and hard to use, as it requires touch and if she takes in too much energy, she could literally explode. Abby can't control the power very well, so she always wears gloves to keep her from accidentally draining energy from one of her allies. 

Weapons: Abby uses a regular knife.

Backstory: Abby and Lani lived on the streets their entire life. When the virus struck, Abby's first priority became her own survival - then Lani's. One day, Ethan Aris ran into Abby in the forest. Ethan told Abby that he was an ally of a powerful person named Kansas Moon. Abby fell in love with the idea of power, and abandoned her sister to join Ethan and Kansas.

Personality: Ethan is possibly unstable. The apocalypse changed him - before, he was perfectly nice, but now, he has a scary sense of irony and laughs at death and suffering. His logic is: it's all going to happen to him someday. Ethan protects those closest to him fiercely. If someone hurts them, he will literally cut the committer of the crime's throat out. His fighting skills are impeccable, which makes him a fearsome ally to have. When not insane, Ethan is usually in a bad mood. He makes sarcastic remarks all the time.

Mutations: Ethan can change parts of his body to metal, and he has increased speed.

Weapons: Ethan can go hand-to-hand, like Callum, but he keeps a knife on him. Just in case.

Appearance: She has medium, silver/white hair that falls loose around her shoulders. Some of it is pinned in a bun, held up by two black pearls. She has grey eyes and pale skin.

Clothing: She wears a black tank top with white lining the straps and the bottom of the shirt, black leggings, and a pair of black and white combat boots. She also keeps a white belt handy. At first glance it seems normal, but if the wolf head engraved on the belt is pushed in, it will release either a grappling hook or choking gas.

Reaction to Virus: Bicentennial

Mutations: The ability to shift into a wolf and control water.

Weapons/tools: Teeth, claws, grappling hook, throwing knives, and a staff. However, she has crafted the staff to make it seem like a cylindrical leather container with two moonstones attached to either side. But, like her belt, when the wolf head on its surface is pressed, the moonstones extend to form a staff. She also has figured out how to change the Traitor Virus into usable forms. She keeps a bag of dust, a quiver of arrows, and a dangerous gas form of the Traitor Virus to use on innocent Bicentennials.

C/D/K: None

Backstory: Three of her closest friends, Aura, Kanya, and Esmerelda, killed her parents. They were infected with the Traitor Virus. Kansas herself was overtaken by some other force, causing her to ignore the truth and seek only revenge on the Bicentennials. She became convinced that all Bicentennials were involved with the death of her parents, and that they all deserved to pay. Kansas found a river of a liquefied form of the Traitor Virus, and used it to carry out her vengeance. Every Bicentennial that she comes across sees a different form of the Midnight Howler, as she is constantly changing her appearance.

~Eliza Quarter~

Nicknames: Quarter, Eli. Mostly Quarter.

Gender: Female, although some mistake her for a boy at first glance. She found a mask and speech device that altered her voice so it sounded deeper. (For identity purposes)

Appearance: Quarter has very short hair, which is colored a dark red. She has a rather pale complexion, along with dark brown eyes. She can most commonly be found in dark brown combat boots, a red tunic with sleeves down to her elbows and dark brown leggings. She also wears an eyepatch over her left eye and a pirate hat that she found from a Halloween store. (Don't question it.)

Personality: Very sarcastic, especially when scared or frustrated. She is also quick-witted, and excels at making decisions on the fly. Eli is also rather good at lying, and can move about unseen/unheard if she wants to. Guard your valuables when she's around.

Reaction to Virus: Bicentennial

Mutations: Has developed hawk wings and a camouflaging ability, kind of like a chameleon.

Weapons: Knives that attach to a pair of gloves she wears, creating a "claw-like" effect. She also has throwing knives, and a pistol.

~Zira Maerow~

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Chocolate-brown hair, emerald green eyes. She has a rather pale complexion as well, and is 5'6.

Clothing: Often can be found wearing a green long-sleeved shirt underneath a tanish brown fur vest. She also wears brown leggings and brown boots that go up to just below her knees, as well as tanish brown fingerless gloves. Has throwing knives hidden in her clothing. Always carries a quiver of arrows strapped across her back and a wooden shield, lined with metal.

Personality: She tries to be patient and caring towards all, as long as they don't show signs of aggression. Zira generally likes to solve a problem using her wits and talking, and only resorts to ways of force if absolutely necessary. She uses her intellect as a weapon more than physical strength.

Reaction to Virus: Bicentennial

Mutations: Has developed midnight black dragon-like wings and claws, as well as all of her senses being heightened, such as now being able to hear rather far away and see in the dark.

Weapons: Her throwing knives and a shield that she has, after some tinkering, been able to make it so that it turns into a crossbow as well.

Backstory: She was at school when the Virus first striked. She and her best friend, Kansas Moon, were one of the few to not panic, and left to investigate. They parted ways at the exit of the school, and Zira returned home, anxious to see if her parents were alright. On her way there, she felt a splitting pain in her back, noticing that dragon wings had appeared. When she arrived at her house... she found her parents lying on the ground, dead. She fled the scene, only taking her most valuable possessions with her, including the fur vest she now always wears that was once her mother's. She has been surviving on her own ever since, searching for Kansas and the other Bicentennials.

Other: Is a rather talented engineer, although prefers blacksmithing and metalworking.

~Sola Centos~

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Appearance: Light blonde hair, pale skin, amber eyes. Around 5'2.

Clothing: Sola generally wears bright colors, such as yellow, white, and orange. She can be found most commonly in a white tank-top that fades to yellow near the bottom, a yellow skirt, and floral combat boots. She also always wears a golden sun pendant around her neck.
Personality:  Energetic, enthusiastic, believes that all things have a right to live life fully. She generally forgives people somewhat easily, one of her flaws. She thinks that everyone should have a chance to redeem themselves, to choose their own, right path. Quite the opposite of her brother Noche.

Reaction to Virus: Bicentennial

Mutations: Sola is able to manipulate fire, light and heat. She also draws her energy from the sun, being strongest at the height of noon and weakest at the peak of midnight.

Weapons: Sola uses an intricate sword, which was carved by Zira. (The two became friends not long after the Rising, when the Bicentennials first arrived.) It is sharp but light, and its hilt is decorated in intricate golden designs. It is also heat resistant, allowing Sola to be able to ignite it without worrying about melting it.

Crush/Dating/Kids: None

Backstory: She and Noche have always been close, being siblings. They did everything together, from games to homework. When the Bicentennials first emerged and the two unlocked their powers, Noche and Sola left their home and made a base together. Not long after, they found and accepted Zira into their group. However, Zira left, hearing about the return of an old friend of hers. She had to set a wrong right, and Sola and Noche understood. They are currently living in a grotto off the beach's coast.

~Noche Centos~

Age: 12

Gender: Male

Appearance: Dark brown hair, tan skin, blue eyes. Slightly taller than his sister.

Clothing: Noche generally wears dark, calmer colors, such as black and blue. He can most commonly be found wearing a black short-sleeved T-shirt, a pair of dark blue jeans, black boots, and a dark blue scarf. He also wears a silver necklace shaped like the moon.

Personality: Noche is very calm and collected, and usually keeps to himself. The only person he really feels  comfortable talking to for longer than 5 minutes is his sister, Sola. He is also pretty good at concealing his feelings and lying.

Mutations: He can control water as well as read people's thoughts and emotions.

Weapons: He uses a sword, like his sister. Only, his is made of silver and the hilt is studded with moonstones.

~The Winter Watcher (Winter)~

Name: Winter

Age: 18 (Nearly 19)

Gender: Female

Appearance: Winter is usually found wearing white, blue, and grey. She always wears a white hooded cloak, the edges of which fade into an icy blue hue. Her actual face is rarely seen, although if she were to reveal it, she would have crystal blue eyes, a pale complexion, and long, whitish silver hair Winter keeps tied in a braid. On her back is a tattoo of an owl that stretches from her right shoulder blade down to the palm of her right hand, several intricate runes and designs surrounding it. She also wears greyish blue combat boots, light grey jeans, and fingerless gloves that stretch to her elbows. Winter also sometimes wears a light blue/white hoodie, although she prefers the cloak because she thinks it looks cooler.

Personality: Winter is pretty secretive, and rather sarcastic when talking. She is also very calm in most situations, and thinks before acting. She is also pretty observant and intelligent, and refuses to talk and/or think about her past at all.

Reaction to Virus: Bicentennial

Mutation(s): Winter has developed the ability to manipulate ice and water. Her hands have to be connected however. She can also metamorphosis, as long as she's seen the person before.

Weapons: She keeps a pistol on her, but rarely uses it. She prefers her sword, which is fashioned from steel and carved with many intricate designs, some of which match her arm.

Clothing: Often wears a loose shirt of some kind that has a tank top beneath it. Jean shorts. Sneakers. Also wears a silver pendant with a swirl on it, because she's always felt connected to the element of wind.
Personality: Fierce and fiery, tries to be gentle and patient around those she cares about but normally fails to do so, quick-witted, clever, sarcastic, nimble, stubborn, swift, aura of leadership, true fighter, teasing, playful, hides depression with several of the traits listed above.

Mutations: Has feathered wings that look like they're probably a falcon's, and eyesight is much sharper than it used to be.
Weapons: Prefers daggers and throwing knives, but is decent enough with a gun.

Personality: Intelligent, a bit shy and slightly moody, nimble, often rather casual. A good way to pick a conversation with her is by talking about books.
Reaction to Virus: Bicentennial
Mutations: Has several cat body parts (ears, tail, claws, etc.) now, and can see much better in the dark (even though she was pretty good at it before).
Weapon: Skilled with a dagger and gun, and also has claws.
Backstory: Whole family died from virus except little brother.
