In a place far away there lives two adults named Andrea and Philip. Andrea and Philip were very very good friends. They lived far out in the country where they were both great astronauts. They were going to leave for another trip very soon. (Today was July 15, 2000. Andrea and Philip would leave on July 20, 2000.)

The day before leaving they packed the rest of their stuff and left to the big space station. They would sleep there over the night and leave in the morning. The next day they left into space for an unexpected journey.

When they got into space, they saw a huge black hole coming toward them! They knew that if you get sucked into a black hole, there was no coming back.

"Fly, fly" cried Andrea. "Get us out of here."

"I'm trying Andrea," screamed Philip.

Unfortunately, it was too late. They had been sucked into the black hole. Once they were inside they were super suprised by what they saw. Instead of sitting in a place of nothingness, they were inside a long portal. When the partners opened they mouths, no words came out. So they kept their mouths shut for the whole ride. Philip stuck his hand out and the portal stopped. Andrea started to move toward Philip, but immediately the portal started up again making Andrea fly backwards away from Philip.

Suddenly the portal stopped moving. A large hole opened in the portal, and Philip and Andrea fell threw along with their rocket. Philip and Andrea closed their eyes waiting to fall to the ground, but it never happened. When the two adults opened their eyes, they saw each other curled up on the grass of a grassy region Immediately, Andrea and Philip pinched each other to see if they were dreaming. Nothing happened.

"Where are we" exclaimed Andrea.

"To me to looks like the space station in the olden days" remarked Philip."

"We couldn't have possibly traveled to the olden day," sighed Andrea. "It's not possible."

"Maybe it is possible, but nobody had discovered it before," cried Philip.

When they looked up they saw that the large black hole had left. They looked around and saw their spaceship broken into pieces. They also saw a big space station.

"Do you want to go to the station?" asked Andrea.

"Sure," agreed Philp.

When they got close to the space station, they saw a big bodyguard.

"Are you here to see the wonders of space," thundered the giant bodyguard, "or to go into space for the first landing on the white moon?"

As Andrea thought about this, Philip came up with a plan to go back home.

Philip answered after awhile, "We are here to go on the first landing on the moon."

"You may enter," commanded the bodyguard.

When they entered, Andrea was super confused.

"What are we doing?" asked Andrea. "What are you planning?"

Philip answered immediately. "We obviously traveled back to when Neil Armstrong and his crew traveled to the moon for the first time. So, we will go with the crew into space and jump back into the time portal hole. We'll be home in a flash."

Andrea remarked, "Ok dokey."

Once they got into the spaceship they buckled up and got ready. They left twenty minutes later with wild anticipation. A while later they saw the big black hole coming towards them. It sucked Andrea and Philip out of the spaceship!

"We're going home!" yelled Philip.

After the ride, a big hole opened and they fell into the new space station.

"That was amazing!" cried the two at the same time.

clearly this alexis was not going to be pursuing a writing career

also, i'm pretty sure i got this idea because i'd recently learned about the landing on the moon. but i didn't know much about it, which can be seen right here in the text
