Third Person POV

When Tul noticed Max covering his ears, with his head lowered, Tul realized that he had been too rough on Max.

"C'mere," Tul said, drawing Max gently into his arms. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you."

Max broke down, sobbing into Tul's chest.

"You've been so mean to me," Max said between sobs, his tears wetting the front of Tul's shirt.

"I know, and I'm sorry," Tul said, cupping Max's neck with one hand and gently running one hand up and down the back of Max's head. "I shouldn't have taken you by surprise by dropping in unannounced at your place."

"That's really not my issue," Max said, his face still buried in Tul's chest.

"Then what is," Tul asked more gently this time.

"You... you......" Max continued to sob.

Tul waited patiently.

"You and... and... and Ella..."

"What about me and Ella?" Tul asked in an even softer tone of voice.

"You came... you came... to my house to... to announce..."

"What were Ella and I going to announce, Max?" Tul's voice was now just a whisper.

"That you... that you..." Max was now sobbing uncontrollably.

"Shh... shh... enough," Tul said.

Tul hugged Max so tightly, pushing Max's face into his chest until Max started to struggle.

But Tul continued to hug Max so tightly while Max continued to struggle.

Max struggled and struggled until he went limp.

When Tul finally let go, Tul realized that Max had lost consciousness.

"Ohmygahd! I have smothered you to death! Where the hell is the nearest hospital???"

Tul frantically opened the passenger back seat and tossed Max's limp and unconscious body into the backseat and climbed into the driver's seat.

Fortunately Max had left the car key inside the ignition and all Tul had to do was start the engine.

Also, luckily for Tul there was a couple who was crossing the driveway entrance of the park, so Tul stopped and asked them where the nearest hospital was.

They directed Tul to the nearest one which fortunately was just a few minutes away.

When Tul entered the lobby with Max's seemingly lifeless body in his arms, a hospital staff immediately escorted him into the ER where a nurse guided him to the nearest bed.

A nurse immediately started resuscitating Max back to consciousness.

"What happened to him?" another nurse was trying to interview Tul.

"I... I... I..." how was Tul going to explain things to this nurse.

"I ...... "

"You??? What did you do to him???"

Tul looked in a panic at the two nurses who were trying to resuscitate a still unconscious Max on the ER bed.

"I think I have killed him!!!" Tul wailed as he himself collapsed unconscious on the ER floor.

The other nurse who was interviewing him yelled at the other nurses.

"Another patient needing resuscitation here!" the nurse called out.

Two other nurses came running to help revive the unconscious Tul.

When Tul finally regained consciousness he noticed Max standing over him, looking at him with a very worried expression on his face.

"Are you okay?" Max asked when he saw Tul slowly opening his eyes.

"Are you okay???" Tul asked.
