Their relationship is unhealthy and sends a bad message (Hey Kids! Stalk your crush and he'll love you!) Water and Ice, a little cliché. Yes I know, they'll most likely become canon, but Hiro Mashima can change his mind any time he wants. It's his book.

And the "he died for her" thing, let's be real, any one of the guild members would've risked their life to save each other. If Max had saved Juvia, would people be shipping it?
Plus I don't like Juvia. She's strong, and pretty, but the fangirling kills it for me. It's old and annoying. Sorry not sorry.
