Lunch Dates:

A.N. This story contains Stefan and Damon Salvatore Bashing and maybe their deaths

If you like the Salvatore brothers, please leave because in this book we hate them.

And if you hate Elena Gilbert, please leave because in this book we love her.

Elena is a lesbian in this story.

Jeremy and Kol will get together for a spoiler.

I will NOT tolerate any Finn slander in this book.

Comments will be removed if I see any hate towards Finn, Sage, Jeremy and Elena.

Just a quick pill for some people to swallow because the entire TVDU fandom is toxic AF

Elena was 17 years old child who was took advantage of after losing her parents.

Stefan stalked her for months because she looked like Katherine.

Demon forced himself on her multiple times during the vampire diaries and also killed her brother multiple times.

She was gaslit when she didn't agree with Stefan and Damon plans.

Demon Stans will try and justify this saying he has learned from his *mistakes*,

This dude killed a pregnant woman,

Does that sound like good and kind person?

Elena is Human and she could not go up against vampires.

Demon and Stefan are the worst thing that happened to Elena.

And now the story actually starts:

"Klaus..."

By now he stood in front of her, his green-blue eyes staring intensely within her olive green.

He reached down and cupped her chin, tilting her face up.

Klaus's thumb brushed against her lips, and a low groan of desire rumbled in his throat as they slightly parted.

He leaned down, pressing his mouth upon her own as he pulled her close, his arm snaking around her waist to pull her closer.

When he broke the kiss, Klaus buried his face into her neck and grazed his teeth against her skin asking for permission.

Bonnie was going to give in but she heard something.

"nie, bonnie, Bonnie wake up. BONNIE WAKE UP!"

A groan came out of Bonnie when a body jumped on top of her.

When she opened her eyes and saw Elena's grinning face, she pushed the doppelganger off of her, causing Elena to land on the floor with a thud.

Unfortunately, Elena didn't get the message that Bonnie wanted to sleep in and opened the curtains revealing the shining sun.

Elena smiled at feeling the sun on her skin whereas Bonnie hissed and hid her head under her pillow.

Chuckling, Elena went into Bonnie's closet to pick out her outfit for their date.

Bonnie sighed, hearing Elena call her name again to get up, knowing that she couldn't get away with sleeping in.

So she took the clothes out of Elena's awaiting hands and went into the bathroom to get changed.

A.N. Just what they're wearing

Elena wolf-whistled as Bonnie came out the bathroom.

"There is something seriously hot in front of me, and it isn't the sun," she playfully flirted with Bonnie.

Bonnie flirted back as she raked her eyes over Elena in an exaggerated way that caused Elena to pose seductively.

"Look whose talking, Miss I-Got-Legs-For-Days,"

Elena giggled as she took intertwined her arm with Bonnie's as they made their way out of the house.

"We are going to be the hottest people at Chloez Cafe eating brunch," Elena stated.

"Yeah," Bonnie agreed before asking, "Brunch?"

Elena nodded, "It's 1pm, Bon."

Bonnie looked shocked at the time, "1pm?!"

Smirking, Elena inquired, "Well what time did you think you'd wake up at, what with you having sex dreams about someone or someone's?"

Elena wiggled her eyebrows in a suggestive manner, making Bonnie blush as she tried not to remember what she was dreaming about.

"I was not having a sex dream about anyone," she hissed at Elena in a whisper-shout as they entered the diner.

"But let's not talk about me, how is operation 'Beklena' going as Caroline had put it."

Now it was Elena's turn to blush and Bonnies turn to smirk triumphantly.

Elena dragged Bonnie to the booth near the corner so nobody could see them and Bonnie placed a silencing spell over them so nobody could hear them.

Elena went to speak but was interrupted by a waitress asking them if they were ready to order.

A.N. I searched up places to eat in VA US and Chloez Cafe called to me

Also I searched up the menu on their home page so the food is real

Bonnie goes first as Elena reads over the menu.

"I'll be having the Breakfast Sandwich, with a side of Sausage Links and Applewood Smoked Bacon and Chili Cheese Fries. For my drink, can I have the Iced Tea, sweetened if you will? And to take out can I get the Chloez Choice for a smoothie and German Chocolate Cake for my dessert? Thank you."

Elena goes next after Bonnie gives her menu to the waitress.

"I will be having the Belgian waffles with the whipped cream and strawberries, a Bagel with Cream Cheese with a side of the Smothered Home Fries with Onion and Cheese. For my drink can I get the Café Mocha. And to take out can I have the Iced Coffee and for my dessert, the Chocolate Chip Cannoli? Thank you."

When the waitress left, Elena started the conversation again.

"Rebekah hates my guts," Elena groaned as she placed her head in her hands.

Bonnie rubbed her shoulder comfortingly and then told Elena to speak up because she didn't understand muffled language when Elena talked into her hands.

"I said, no matter what I do, whether I open the door for her or invite her to after school clubs, she'll look at me as if I'm the bane of her existence and stomp on my toes as she walks away or whip her hair into my face. Not that I'm complaining about the hair part because it smells like the ocean breeze and it feels so soft that I want to braid it," Elena rambled at the last part with a dreamy look on her face.

Then Elena sat up straight with an enraged look on her face, "Had Damon not compelled me to dagger her, then maybe I could still have a chance. Heck, by now we could be on our honeymoon in the Bahamas."

Bonnie raised her eyebrow and questioned, "I thought you were taking Caroline to the Bahamas for your honeymoon."

Elena shook her head, "Caroline is Paris, you are Hawaii, Rebekah is Bahamas and Hayley was Italy,"

Bonnie let out a chuckle, "You are way too certain that you're going to marry one of those girls,"

Elena raised her eyebrow this time and counted off her fingers, "Hayley is travelling to look for her family but if she ever came back and I'm single, then I will be mingling with her. You, me and Care made a pact that if none of us are married by the time we're 26, then we marry each other. And Rebekah is just perfect," Elena let out a sigh at the last word.

The waitress came back with their food before the girls could carry on.

"I take it back. Can I marry waffles instead?" Elena said as she inhaled the heavenly sight in front of her.

Bonnie was too busy moaning at the taste of her own meal.

Once the girls were finished, they began to talk again.

"Bonnie, how is the plan going?"

"Me and Care have to keep changing it every time a new threat appears or you get compelled by one of the Salvatores so you can't be in on it and right now we have to deal with Silas, the Mikaelsons and the Salvatore brothers."

"The plan is for the Salvatore brothers and the Mikaelsons are distracting them unknowingly so what would happen if we get the Mikaelsons on board with the plan?"

Bonnie's head snapped up as she looked at Elena in shock.

Elena misinterpreted the action as a no so she tried to rectify it by saying, "The Mikaelsons are the main reason why we have to keep changing the plan. I thought that by getting them on board - never mind," Elena trailed off at seeing Bonnie's shocked expression not changing.

Bonnie snapped out of her state  and grabbed Elena's hands to comfort her.

"No, that could work.  Sorry, I was in a bit of a shock at the thought of you actually working with the Mikaelsons."

At seeing Elena's crestfallen expression, Bonnie swore that if she ever met Cade (Arcadius) then she would ask him to place the Salvatore brothers in a place of hell worthy of those bastards.

Bonnie placed her hand on Elena's cheek and stroked it.

"Your opinion matters, Elena. Ok? You are allowed to have a choice and opinion. You have the right you voice those opinions and to speak your mind. You have your right to privacy and personal space.  And I swear, I will make those Salvatore bastards rot in a special place in hell for what they've done to you and the rest of us."

Elena placed her hand over Bonnies and smiled at her causing Bonnie to smile back.

The waitress came back with the bill but smiled at the sight of the pair, "You two make such a cute couple. How long have you been together?"

Elena is the one to answer first as she takes Bonnies hand and intertwines them with her hand.

"We have been friends since we kindergarten.."

Bonnie continued, "Then we started to date when we were 14 and I was the one to ask because I realised I liked Elena in a romantic sense.."

Elena finished, "Since then, it has been 4 beautiful years since we got together. It's our anniversary today."

Once the waitress congratulated them and left, the girls broke down into a fit of giggles.

"You were the one to ask me out, Bonnie Bennett?"

Bonnie snorted, "Are you seriously asking me that, Miss Bonnie-Help-I-Find-The-New-Girl-Hayley-Hot-But-I'm-Not-Allowed-To-Like-Girls?"

Elena groaned into her hand at the idiocy of her 14 year old self.

"Bonnie."

Elena watched as Bonnie looked up to see the red head and Finn, who had called her name, and beam at the pair.

"Sage, Finn" Bonnie greeted, standing up to hug the pair who had arrived.

She beckoned them to sit down with them and asked, "What are you guys doing here?"

"We were walking in the park nearby when I saw the Cafe and wanted to introduce Finn to the wonders of caffeine."

Bonnie nodded her head to Sage's words.

"You did the right call. Life without caffeine is not life at all."

Turning to Finn Bonnie inquired, "How are you settling into the modern world so far?"

Finn felt comfortable around Bonnie.

Not only was she a person that his wife trusted, but she is the descendant of Ayanna Bennett.

Thinking of Ayanna would normally hurt as he would think about how much she would be disappointed in them.

However, Ayanna cared for them.

Loved them as her own.

Though they were not blood, she considered them to be her family.

And even when they massacred the village in their hunt of desire to quench their thirst and blood stuck to them as a second skin, Ayanna gave them the ability to walk in the sun and smiled at them comfortingly.

For a time, as he laid in his coffin, he despised Niklaus for killing their mother.

The one who birthed them and was their mother, for Odin's sake.

But 900 years in a coffin involves loneliness.

900 years in a coffin involves isolation.

900 years in a coffin involves reflection.

And Finn had reflected.

He reflected on how their mother had sworn him to secrecy as a child after watching a strange woman steal away his beloved older sister while his mother could do nothing but watch.

He reflected on how because of this secret he could tell nobody about it for as long as he lived and the only other person who knew was his mother....no wonder he became so dependant on and obedient to her.

He reflected on how he became distant and less eager to play with his younger siblings.

Finn feared that they could be taken from him just as easily as his sister, so he was afraid to let them get close.

He reflected on his existence as a vampire.

Finn hated what they became.

Bloodsucking killing monsters who had to hunt and prey on the innocent.

Who had the power to compel and influence ones thoughts and actions.

Who could hear everything from miles away.

Who could have the strength to break bones whether in battle or locked in embrace (a hug).

Who could no longer have the ability to have children.

After 100 years of being such a monstrous creature, Finn had given up hope to have a partner in life.

But then there was Sage.

This woman who Finn loved enough to make an exception and turn a person into a vampire.

The person who made him find joy in what was nothing but an eternity of misery for him.

The person who made him want to have fun.

If a person was to ask what drew Finn to her or what Finn loved most about Sage, he would answer that it was her vivacity.

Her ability to enjoy life to the fullest.

Something that he felt like he could feel too whenever he was with her.

One of the main reasons he had agreed to working with his mot- No.

She didn't deserve to be called that.

One of the main reasons he had agreed to help Esther and her plan to kill him and his siblings in a ritual was because they had left him to rot in a coffin for 900 years and not one of them had dared to let him out.

Not Elijah, not Rebekah, not even Kol with all his ramblings of hating the feeling of being confined to the box.

While Finn had stayed in the box longer than any of his siblings, he grew more accustomed to the dagger.

He was able to leave his body and his subconscious could travel.

He tried to find Sage but she was gone.

So he took to watching over his siblings.

Leaving at once when he believes Sage to be in the same city.

And whenever he watched them near his coffin, they would walk past.

As if he didn't matter.

As if he didn't exist.

They all left him to rot.

And yes Niklaus could have easily stopped them.

But Niklaus had killed all five hunters and triggered the Hunter's curse which left him suffering from hallucinations for a little more than 52 years.

Which is why Niklaus was in no position to keep the siblings from undaggering him.

Which meant that his siblings made no move to undagger Finn because they couldn't be bothered.

Elijah most likely didn't want to undagger him because he'd lose his spot as "oldest brother".

Kol most likely didn't give a damn about Finn.

And Rebekah most likely didn't remove the dagger because she had just lost her lover and couldn't stand to see Finn happy with his beloved, Sage.

And once he was undaggered, after 900 years, he was immediately thrust into a different world.

He wanted to die.

He had no purpose within his own family.

He had no respect from his siblings.

He had no love.

He was alone.

So he went along with his mothers plans.

But then Bonnie had come.

Bonnie Bennett had came into the ballroom with his wife as her date.

Bonnie Bennett had stopped their mother from killing him and his siblings without her knowing.

Bonnie Bennett had given him hope.

And right now as he looked at Bonnie and her encouraging smile, he found himself smiling back.

He answered, "It has been difficult to adjust to the modern times what with the noise and the incessant ringing of the amount of technological devices that humans have on their person. My desire for blood has intensified due to me being an 'Original Vampire'. And the customs, language and laws have changed."

Finn turned to look at Sage as he intertwined their hands, "But I have Sage. And as long as I have her by my side, I believe myself to be complete."

The doppelganger and Bennett witch looked at the two lovers with happiness on their faces.

A sniffle came from Elena breaking the moment.

Everyone turned to her causing her to rub her eyes.

"Sorry. Bonnie had already made me tear up before and now you guys came and your love is just so pure and now I'm sure I'm going to die alone." Elena sobbed out the last part.

Bonnie rolled her eyes at her dramatic friend.

Turning to the pair, she told them to ignore her because she's going through a love crisis.

"Hey!" Elena whined, "I'm right here,"

Finn turned to the doppelganger and inquired, "What kind of a love crisis?" causing Sage to shake her head and whisper 'oh no'.

"Oh no? What does oh no mean, Sage?"

Sage turned to Bonnie, ignoring how her husband had immediately been captured into the doppelgangers woe story on how her romance idea is failing with his sister.

"Finn is what you would call a hopeless romantic."

"He can never meet Caroline," Bonnie stated with mock horror written over her face.

Sage nodded her head, agreeing to the statement as she knew how Caroline was when it came to the idea of love.

For the time that Sage had known Bonnie, or the person inhabiting Bonnie's body, she had realized one thing about her - she was loyal.

She talked about her friends and who they had to get rid off because they could hurt them in the future.

She talked about the threats that the Mikaelsons of all people would face and how she could help them.

That threw Sage into a loop.

Why help the Mikaelsons?

Yes, Sage was biased in her opinion because as Finn's wife she deemed them to be unworthy of anything but the burning fire of hell for what they did to him but Bonnie knew these monsters.

Bonnie had seen them at their worst.

Has seen their past, present and future and still deemed them worthy of redemption.

Why? Sage had asked her, Why save those who do not deserve it?

Bonnie only looked at her with eyes that held such wisdom and replied, If I don't save them and I have the power to help them with anything, then that's on me and me alone.

Sage never questioned her again as she worried that it would break the Bennett Witch to watch as the Mikaelsons destroyed themselves in the end.

Still it hurt watching Bonnie lose nights of sleep over people undeserving of her time.

From Aurora de Martel, to Valerie Tulle.

Bonnie had made an entire book, forget list, on how to help these people.

But as a precaution, she made sure that Bonnie had added the persons strengths, weaknesses, past lovers, supernatural status and whether they were an ally or not.

Bonnie had opened her mind one day to Sage to show her what would have happened to the previous Bonnie and to say Sage was enraged was barely describing her anger.

Bonnie had to freeze her with a spell to stop her from killing her unworthy friends and then Bonnie explained who she was going to kill and that calmed Sage.

Sage was brought back to the present seeing Bonnie mouth asking if she was ok.

That made Sage smile as she nodded to the Bennett Witch.

When Sage had found out Bonnie was going to reunite her with husband, Sage waited until after Bonnie had fell asleep on the sofa at her apartment before crying.

And once she had finished crying over 900 years worth of pain and loneliness, she made a vow to see that Bonnie would find her own happiness and peace one day.

Elena cleared her throat making everyone turn to her.

"Me and Bonnie were here today not only to have brunch and catch up but to plan. Sage is already aware, from what Bonnie has told me, and is involved with the plan."

Facing Finn Mikaelson, the eldest of the Mikaelsons should've left Elena shaking in her boots.

But Elena had to do this.

Not only for herself, but for everyone who would suffer because of the Salvatore brothers.

"We want the Mikaelsons co-operation with the plan and to do so, we want to go to your siblings and ask for a peace deal. One that would make both parties benefit from it."

Finn had a contemplative look on his face before he asked, "I see. But what does this have to do with me, Elena?"

"You're the oldest of your siblings and I thought maybe you could go with us to Mikaelson Manor to create the deal." Elena became quieter with her words after she saw the look in Finn's eyes at the mention of his siblings.

Seeing as her husband was not going to continue talking, Sage asked the doppelganger, "What deal would we be making?"

Bonnie is the one to answer.

"A deal that helps us defeat the Salvatore brothers and a two thousand year old immortal with magic."

This causes Sage to look at Bonnie with shock.

"It's too early."

She tried to deny but Bonnie shook her head.

"Silas is coming, Sage and as of now, we are at war with him."
