Chapter 2 - Questions
Yutama kept running through the forest making his way to the village running into branches and spiderwebs tripping on his own steps and ends up falling over "Gah" he grunted getting back up sweeping the dirt off himself. "I wonder if he'll notice that it is my bow" he continued forward exhaustedly.
Yutama ended up laying against a rock looking off in the distance trying to regain his breath watching the village about sixteen kilometers and closed his eyes as the wind gently blew in his face. "I think I'll just rest here for awhile" he said getting comfortable and accidentally falls asleep. Several hours passed as the air got cooler with each moment the sun went down and Yutama woke up "N-ngggghhhh" he stretched out. "Where am I?" he yawned getting up and began to head towards the village.
Eventually, he made it to the village as the streets were crawling with people traveling from shop to shop ignoring all of them. "All these shops and people, yet I have nothing to offer from my own" Yutama sighed while walking he ran into Wber and spoke, "Why are you here didn't you say you were on a mission?" "Good evening Yutama, I've decided to take a break to look at the night shops myself, what brings you here" Wber questioned.
"Just out for a walk" he replied "Ya know your shop could've been out here if you just tried," said Wber. Yutama put his hands in his pockets as he looked away and his stomach growled "Shall we go eat" Wber asked, "It'll be my treat." "Whoa really thanks Wber!" he smiled as they found a nearby sushi shop as they sat down waiting to order. Wber took a sip of tea as he looked at Yutama "How has your bow practice been going" he asked.
"Well I am still a bit rusty but I believe I'm getting there," he said scratching his head. "The last mission I sent you on should have been a good practice, what happened?" A moment of silence fell between them until Yutama finally spoke "They were just a little faster than I expected" he laughed a little. "That's a shame, you could've earned some credits for completing it" Wber took another sip of the tea. "It wouldn't cover my debt anyways" Yutama broke a sweat with a nervous laugh.
Two plates were eventually brought to the table filled with sushi as Yutama's mouth began to water "It looks so yummy." "Yutama before we eat there is something we must discuss" said stated. "What about?" Yutama asked. Wber pulled out a box from under the table and handed it over "Open it" he demands as Yutama slowly opens it revealing the broken half of his bow.
Yutama was shocked at the sight and pretended to play dumb and asked "Why did you take my bow?"
"Don't you dare try that trick on me Yutama, I know you were in Letev Forest during the incident that is where your last mission was" he demanded. "Look Wber if I knew I'd tell you but unfortunately I don't" he replied. "Why are you lying" Wber glared "Something did happen and you hiding it. Yutama gulped as he tried to find a way to counter the topic "Look Yutama I don't want to cause any trouble if you tell me now I can remove any future burdens that may rise" Wber stood up and began walking away "You know where to find me."
"Well now that he's gone time to chow down" he laughed as he began to eat. "Maybe I should tell him," he thought as he continued to eat "After all I could get his help to get rid of it." When Yutama finished his meal he began walking home and when he arrived he noticed a faint glow coming from the window.
Confused he went inside and looked around and found the glow coming from the corner where the satchel sat as he approached it he picked up the satchel and opened it to find a book buried under some supplies as the glowing fades away. "What is this book?" he questioned flipping it around looking for clues "Eh, I'll worry about it later when I can ditch it" he places the book and tosses the satchel back into the corner ignoring what just happened and tries sleep for the night.
