Chapter 25
Ok, I'm updating twice in one day cause idk when I'll have the chance to update (cuz I still electronically-gounded) and this is a huge and amazing plot-filled-thing-chappie and I love it and I want to ya'll to read it so bad so here yah go XD
Bill's POV
I was so nervous about talking with Arrow today. What if I messed up? What if she decided to change her mind? What if Pine Tree had to waltz over and destroy everything like his Great Uncle had? I'd have to get her some where far and quiet where I had a higher possibility of a great outcome.
I made it to her house, it was about nine in the morning, and I took a deep breath, brushing out my suit and fixing my top hat. It felt nice to be in my regular clothes. I walked over and sneakily hopped over her fence and went to her window. I peeked in and saw her lying in bed, reading a book.
I grabbed my cane and tapped on her window.
She flinched and dropped her book before looking up with wide eyes. Arrow slid off her bed and stamped over to the window and opened it. "What is your problem?" She hissed.
"You said you'd talk with me today..." I informed her.
She glared. "Well you don't go peeking through my window." She growled and went back to set her book up on her nightstand and grabbed her phone.
"Wait!" I said quickly and she froze. "Can you please leave your phone here...? I really need to talk to you without any distractions."
Distrust flashed across her face. "What? Are you kidding me-"
"Please! I'm promise I won't do anything bad! Besides, you screaming draws a lot more attention than a text would ever do." I crossed my arms and begged with my eye.
She held her phone tightly and looked me over. "You promise?" She said after a moment.
I sighed with relief. "Promise."
We shook on it and she left her phone on her bed and crawled out the window with me and we left her house.
"Why the hell am I even trusting you?" She breathed angrily.
"I don't know, I was surprised you even listened to me, honestly." I put on a smile, feeling awkward for the first time in a long while. I loved how Arrow helped me feel emotions I rarely got to experience on my own. Pine Tree was going to pay for stealing her away.
She shrugged. "You have been a jerk to Dipper for a while, so if I die, make sure you put on my grave stone 'she was a naive idiot who trusted psychos.'"
I chuckled and only took slight offense to that. "I'll make a note on that."
I led her out of the neighborhood and farther from town.
"Uh...where are you taking me?" She looked over her shoulder nervously.
"Nowhere in particular." I told her and she held her hands tightly. "Don't worry, I just need to talk."
"Let's hope so." She murmured.
"Well, what I really wanted to talk about was what has happened since I first got here..." I started off. "You know how I...and-and you-"
"How you think I knew you and was in love with you? Pft, yeah, I know. And it's not true." She crossed her arms stubbornly.
I swallowed and tugged at my collar anxiously. "W-well, I really want to explain to you why it's true... But...but I can't."
She turned to me, raising an eyebrow. "Why's that?"
"Because you won't believe me. You'll think I'm crazy, not that you already probably think that." I looked down at my shoes and absentmindedly played with my cane.
"True." She nodded.
I rolled my eye and leaned on my cane. "The truth is, Eleanor, I like Dipper."
Arrow went white. "W-w-what?" She stammered and stiffened up.
I exhaled deeply, doing my absolute best to keep a straight face. "I mean, I found out that he broke up with you. I thought you deserved to know why."
"Oh my God!" Arrow held her stomach. "Bill, what the heck is going on. I know you're lying to me!"
"Well, Dipper and I were playing a little game and apparently he drank a little too much alcohol-"
"BILL!" Arrow slapped me across the face and I stumbled back. "NO! Y-YOU HAVE TO BE LYING!"
I shrugged. "Let me finish the story, please. And, well, he got out of the house and I guess he came and broke up with you."
"He-he did suddenly kiss me..." She was shaking horribly. "No! NO! You have to be lying! Dipper hates you!"
"Does he?" I shrugged. "Anyways, he didn't really remember much of last night. He didn't recall even seeing you. Couldn't even recall when we-"
"That's enough! Bill, tell me the truth!" Arrow was on the verge of tears.
I shrugged. "Uh, I am, Eleanor."
"No, no, no. This can't be happening. I thought he hated your guts!"
"I'll admit, I thought he did until-"
"Shut up!" She screamed. "Is it true?! The truth, you bastard!"
"It's true."
She began crying and shaking her head. "As soon as you came here you messed everything up! I'm
going to go see him and fix everything!"
I sighed. "Good luck."
"Does Mabel know?!" She cried.
"No, I don't think so..." I played off my lie quite well.
"I-I can't believe this is happening." Tears were running down her face. "What is wrong with you?! You stole my boyfriend, you jerk!"
I shrugged again. "Can't help it."
"I hate you more than ever! I can't believe I ever trusted you! I'm going to go see him and talk some sense into him!" She whipped around and stormed off.
I smirked, and chuckled lowly. People were so easy to trick and manipulate. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a phone, Arrow's phone, which I had stole from her bed as soon as she had crawled out. Magic made the world a whole lot easier. Now I just had to snatch Pine Tree away and all would be well.
I took a deep breath and focused, imagining his house in my head and teleported to that location.
I appeared a few feet above the sidewalk and I dropped down, breathless. I took a moment to breath and regain some energy before I thought of my act and ran up to the front door. I was silently thankful that the Pines's twins parents weren't home or that would only make this harder.
I banged on the door, acting breathless and panicked.
The door flung open and Pine Tree stood in the entrance way. His gaze grew disgusted and angry and he went to slam the door but I stopped him.
"Pine Tree you have to hurry!" I screamed.
"What do you want?" He spat viciously.
"Eleanor! There's been an accident! You have to come! I don't know if she's going to die or-"
"What?!" Pine Tree burst out the door. "Where? Where is she?!"
"Follow me! Quick. I don't know what going to happen." Pine Tree and I bolted down the street away from his house and Arrow's house.
"What happened?" Pine Tree cried as we ran down the side walk and rounded a corner.
"Car accident!" I called back.
"Oh my God." He voice caught and he shook his head and forced himself to run on. "How do you know?!"
"Well, you exiled me and I happened to wonder upon the scene!" I lied and went farther and farther away from where they both lived.
"Are we close?!" He called.
"Sort of!" I finally found an alley way between two tall buildings. "Quick, I know a short cut!"
Pine Tree followed, completely unaware of what I was planning.
I stopped running and pretended I was taking a breather and pressed my hand up against the side of one of the buildings.
"Bill! We have to hurry!" Pine Tree shouted desperately.
"One second..." I said, gasping for breath and I focused, channeling magic into the building I was standing next to.
"What are you doing?!" Pine Tree asked, frustrated.
I leaned up and secretly tapped on the side of the building, finishing the spell. I turned to him and exhaled softly and saw his expression grow confused. "I'm sorry, Pine Tree."
He looked over his shoulder. "What?"
I grabbed him by his shoulders and shoved him into the building, but instead of hitting solid matter, he passed straight through it.
I heard his screams as he plummeted into the darkness and I stepped in, following him. For a moment, it was pitch black until I snapped my fingers and the lights flickered on. Well, more like torches.
It was a small concrete room with blue-flamed torches lining the walls. Pine Tree was lying on his back in the middle. "W-what the h-hell is going on?" He stammered, absolutely mortified.
"You messed with the wrong guy." I said, smiling. "You never believed me, did you? I told you I was a man of power and you just brushed it off." I used my magic to levitate him off the ground.
Pine Tree screamed, flailing in the zero gravity. "Bill?! What's happening?!"
"You pissed me off, that's what!" I growled.
"H-how's this possible?!"
I sneered. "Magic."
Pine Tree turned his horrified gaze upon me. "N-no! This isn't possible!"
"Oh but it is, kid." I smirked and strolled around him, letting him struggle in the air. "I tried to warn you, but then you kicked me out." I made a clicking sound with my tongue. "Bad move." I made my way around and grabbed his collar and yanked him down. "But you're mine now."
"You are a monster!" He shrieked.
I shrugged. "I prefer demon, but either one is true."
Pine Tree's pulse was racing and sweat was dripping off of him out of fear.
"You remember when I told you I know all your weakness?" I whispered, tightening my grip on his shirt, smirking.
His eyes widened in terror and he bit into his bottom lip, hard.
"Well, I hope you do, because you don't want me reminding you..." I breathed. "Now. Do you think you'll listen to me from now on."
The horror in his eyes was answer enough.
I smirked and laughed lowly. "Good."
This took such a dark turn huehuehue >:}
