The cool night air was refreshing as the Blizzardclan cats raced onto the island. It was the night of the sacred once a moon gathering. Ravenblaze had not wanted to come to this gathering, but Glacierstar had made him pick who to come, so he would come. The reason he had not wasted to go was because his beautiful mate, Appleheart, was supposed to be kitting his kits tonight.
I'm gonna be a father!! He thought gleefully. Suddenly his best friend, Owlpatch was there beside him. "Ravenblaze!" He hissed playfully. "Your gonna miss the gathering!" Ravenblaze just purred at Owlpatch. "Hey can you cover for me if I run back to camp?" He asked with teasing in his eyes. "No way!!" Owlpatch mewed back. "I was just kidding, dude!" He Purred as he went into the bushes surrounding the island.
