Bayley woke up the next morning to the sound of her record player spinning. She was still wearing her makeup from the night before and her head was pounding. She lifted up her hand and admired the ring on her finger. Bayley got out of bed and grabbed her robe. She took of the t-shirt she was wearing and put on the robe. Bayley folded the t-shirt and put it in her shoe box. She slid the ring off her finger and into the box. A tear fell from her eye as she put the box back in her closet.

Aj watched from across the hall as Bayley cleaned up her mess from last night. Bayley went into the bathroom and started the shower. Aj sighed and leaned back against the wall.

Roman was sitting at the counter drinking his coffee when Sasha got up.

"Morning sunshine." Roman said as Sasha walked into the kitchen in nothing but a grey t-shirt. 

"Fuck off." Sasha said as she poured herself a cup of coffee.

Roman laughed and admired Sasha's messy hair. She took a sip of coffee and let out a sigh.

"Good morning, Roman." Sasha said with a smile on her face.

"There she is." Roman laughed.

"You excited for this party tonight or what?"Sasha asked.

"I'm excited but I have to go to campus to get my books today." Roman said.

"Right, I forgot that was today." Sasha said.

"Sure is." Roman said.

"I need to get ready, I have that brunch today with Bayley's grandparents." Sasha said as she walked into the bathroom and started the water.

"Seth is supposed to be there right?" Roman asked.

"Yeah." Sasha said.

"Well have fun." Roman said as he took a sip of his coffee.

At George and Mellie's, Bayley made her way downstairs for brunch. She sat at the table with her grandparents as the doorbell rang. She burst out of her seat and rushed to open the door.

"Seth." Bayley said in disappointment.

"Bayley. How are you?" Seth asked.

Bayley didn't respond. Aj came downstairs as Bayley walked back to the table. Seth walked in and greeted Aj with a kiss.

"Don't worry about it.. she's fine." Aj said.

Seth and Aj sat down at the table with Bayley, Mellie, and George. Seth couldn't help but notice how out of it Bayley looked. She just sat there, staring at her glass of water.

"Is she okay?" Seth asked.

Suddenly, Sasha walked in the door.

"Good afternoon everyone!" Sasha greeted.

Bayley got up and kissed Sasha on the lips. Sasha smiled at Bayley as she followed her to the table.

"I missed you." Bayley said.

"I was just here last night, babe." Sasha said.

"I know but still.." Bayley said.

Everyone looked at each other awkwardly, not sure what to say.

"So.. everyone is going to this party tonight?" Mellie asked.

"Oh yeah.. it's going to be amazing." Sasha said.

"I hope so, I'd like to see you get out and have some fun Bayley." Mellie said.

"I have plenty of fun." Bayley said.

"Speaking of having fun Bayley.. grams tells me you are waiting until marriage to have sex?" Aj asked.

Seth nearly choked on his food.

Sasha laughed as she looked over at Bayley.

"Um.. yep." Bayley said.

Aj smiled at Bayley from across the table.

"Aj, that is not something you talk about at the table." George reminded her.

"So Sasha, you're still staying with Roman?" Mellie asked.

"Yeah.. his parents were kind enough to let me stay with him." Sasha said.

"But dear his folks are never home. The two of you must never have a warm meal." Mellie said.

"Well we usually just grab pizza from Joe's." Sasha said.

"Oh no dear, I will have to start sending you home with leftovers." Mellie said.

"I'm sure Roman would love that." Sasha laughed.

Bayley grabbed Sasha's hand under the table as they continued their conversation.

Across town, Roman arrived on campus at San Jose University. He didn't spend much time touring the place, instead he went straight to the book store.

"Can I help you?" A man asked.

"Hi, um.. here is my class schedule, I just need my textbooks." Roman said as he handed the man a piece of paper.

"Give me a few minutes." The man said.

As the man went to the back of the store, Roman began walking around. To his surprise, he actually saw a familiar face.

"Charlotte?" Roman asked.

"Roman?" Charlotte asked.

"I didn't know you went here.." Roman said.

"I'm a TA for criminology this year." Charlotte said.

"Wow, I didn't know.. Have you heard from Becky at all?" Roman asked.

"Me? Um.. No. Not really." Charlotte said.

"Not really?" Roman asked.

"No, I haven't. I should get going, but it was nice seeing you." Charlotte said as she rushed out of the store.

Roman watched in confusion as Charlotte stumbled down the hall.

"Sir, your books." The man said.

Roman went to the counter and got his books.

Back at Mellie and George's, Seth and Sasha sat on the back porch swing after brunch.

"How has Bayley been? She seemed a little off earlier." Seth said.

"I'm starting to get worried about her again. Every night it's the same thing, I get home and she is passed out from drinking. The same movie is playing every night.. the same song.." Aj said.

"Bayley was never good at keeping her drinks down." Seth said.

"Then there is the t-shirt.." Aj said.

"One of Dean's?" Seth asked.

"And she never washes it. I tried to wash it once and she flipped out on me.." Aj said.

"Damn." Seth said.

"And she wears the ring to bed." Aj said.

"The engagement ring?" Seth asked.

"Yeah." Aj said.

"Shit, Bayley. What is she doing?" Seth asked.

"I know it's not as bad as before but still.. this can't be normal." Aj said.

"Sasha is with her now. She seems to be doing fine when she's around." Seth said.

"She is perfect with Sasha is with her.. but the second she leaves it all goes back to hell." Aj said.

Inside, Sasha and Bayley were getting ready for the party.

"Should I wear this?" Bayley asked as she modeled an outfit for Sasha.

"I've never seen you in jean shorts." Sasha said with a smiled on her face.

"Like them?" Bayley said.

"Oh yeah." Sasha said as she got up and kissed Bayley.

"Should I wear jean shorts too or those white ones?" Sasha asked.

"White.. and wear that green tank top I like." Bayley said.

"You really like me in green, huh?" Sasha asked.

"You look amazing in green." Bayley said.

"You're right, I can't argue with you. I look hot as hell in green." Sasha said as she took off her shirt and put on the green tank top.

Bayley walked up behind her and pulled her hair out of the shirt.

"Perfection." Bayley said.

That night, Bayley and Sasha pulled up to the beach with Roman and Mandy. They got out of the car and joined the others at the party.

"I'll get the beers." Mandy said.

"So how are you doing, Bayley?" Roman asked.

"I'm fine, I really wish everyone would stop asking me that." Bayley said.

"Sorry." Roman said as Seth and Aj approached.

"Hey guys." Seth said.

"Holy shit, it's Seth. You forget about us man?" Roman asked.

"I've been busy." Seth said as he looked at Aj with a smirk.

"Let's dance babe." Bayley said as she dragged Sasha away.

The song "This is What Makes Us Girls" by Lana Del Rey came on as Sasha and Bayley began to dance.

"She seems fine right now." Seth said.

"I told you she is fine as long as Sasha is with her." Aj said.

"I can't imagine how fucked up she would be if Sasha left too." Seth said.

No, don't worry, Sasha isn't going anywhere." Roman said.

After a few hours, both Sasha and Bayley were drunk.

"Maybe we should get going?" Roman asked.

"I'll take Bayley home with Aj, I brought my car." Seth said.

"Okay, we will see you guys later." Roman said.

Mandy helped Sasha into the back of Roman's jeep. He watched in the rear view mirror as Sasha curled up into a ball. Mandy got in the passenger side seat and rolled her eyes at Roman.

Seth pulled up at George and Mellie's and got Bayley out of the back of the car. Aj walked herself inside behind Seth and Bayley. Seth put Bayley in bed and put the covers over her. He sat on the bed next to her and watched her for a minute. Seth walked over to her closet and looked for the shoe box Aj had told him about. When he saw it he pulled it out and opened it up. He grabbed the engagement ring and put the box back. Seth walked over to Bayley and slid the ring on her finger. He kissed her on the cheek, fighting back tears.

"I'm going to bring him back to you.. I promise." Seth whispered.

Seth got up and looked across the hall at Aj who had already fallen asleep. He smiled as he realized how much these two sisters mean't to him.

After dropping Mandy off at her house, Roman pulled into his drive way and helped Sasha out of the car.

"Just carry me." Sasha said.

"I'm not carrying your drunk ass anywhere." Roman said.

"Please.." Sasha asked him with puppy dog eyes.

"Oh damn you." Roman said as he picked Sasha up in his arms, bridal style.

Sasha laughed as Roman carried her inside and put her in bed.

"Thank you, Roman." Sasha said.

"For carrying you in the house?" Roman asked as he sat down on the bed.

"For letting me stay here. If it weren't for you, I would be in Boston right now." Sasha said.

"And if it weren't for you, I would be alone every night." Roman said.

"You're parents are kind of rich assholes, you know that right?" Sasha asked.

"Believe me, I know." Roman said as he covered Sasha up.

Roman got up and shut off the light. He watched in admiration as Sasha closed her eyes snuggled up under the blankets.

"Don't watch me sleep, you creep." Sasha said with her eyes closed.

Roman jumped out of the door way so quickly he accidentally smacked his head against the wall.

"Shit." Roman laughed at himself.

Sasha let out a small smile as she heard Roman cursing at himself.

"Dork." Sasha said.
