The students of San Jose High were taking cover as the local police began to arrive on the scene.

"I can't-" Sasha tried to say as she gasped for air.

"Relax, just focus on your breathing." Carmella said.

"Bayley." Sasha said in a panic.

"Here." Carmella said as she handed Sasha her phone.

Sasha was shaking and could barely hold her phone.

"Where are you?"

-Sasha

"I'm okay. Everyone locked their doors so I am hiding under the bleachers."

-Bayley

"I'm in the news room with Carmella. Be safe. I love you."

-Sasha

"I love you more."

-Bayley

Carmella watched as a tear fell from Sasha's face.

"Is she safe?" Carmella asked.

"Yeah, I think so." Sasha said.

"You're still shaking." Carmella said.

"Sorry." Sasha said.

"You don't have to apologize for being scared." Carmella laughed.

"Sorry, I just-." Sasha began to say.

"You just did it again." Carmella said.

Sasha smiled and didn't say anything else.

"You remember that code red drill we did in middle school?" Carmella asked.

"I think so, yeah." Sasha said.

"You were so scared.. I remember it was picture day so you had on that purple sun dress. I could tell you had put a lot of work into your look for the day and here you were about to have a panic attack over that drill." Carmella said.

"It took me three hours to get ready for school that morning." Sasha remembered.

"I just remember thinking.. how is a girl that beautiful so afraid." Carmella said.

"What do you mean?" Sasha asked.

"I know you were just a little girl but I could see it in your eyes.. that look you had.. It was like you were allowing yourself to be afraid in that moment but if it came down to it..If you needed to be strong, you could be." Carmella said.

Sasha looked at Carmella in surprise.

"Right now, you need to be strong for Bayley." Carmella said.

"Damn, you're good." Sasha laughed.

Down the hall Finn had carried a wounded Alexa into the library.

"Shit." Finn said as he took off his shirt and wrapped it around Alexa's leg.

"I can't feel my leg." Alexa cried.

"It's okay, you're going to be fine." Finn said.

"What happened to Mike? He was right behind us." Alexa said.

"I'll text him." Finn said as he pulled out his phone.

"We are in the library. Where are you?"

Back at Joe's, Roman and Seth were having breakfast with Aj while Dean finished his shower upstairs. When he left the bathroom he saw the high school on the news.

"It has been confirmed that there is an active shooter in the school at this moment. Local police officers appear to be at the scene but have not made any indication that they plan to go into the school at this time." A news broadcaster announced.

Dean grabbed the keys to Seth's bike and ran downstairs.

"Hey, man!" Roman yelled as Dean rushed out of the cafe and jumped on Seth's bike.

"What the hell is he doing?" Seth asked.

"Oh my god." Aj said as she pointed at the tv in the corner of the cafe.

"Fuck." Seth said as he got up from his seat.

Roman grabbed the keys to his jeep and they rushed out of the cafe.

At the school, Bayley was hiding under the bleachers when someone walked into the gym.

"I don't care how many people you have to kill to find her, just find her!" A man yelled.

Bayley bent down to see the man's face and couldn't believe what she saw. It was Drew McIntyre Becky's right hand man.

"She killed Valerie and now she has to pay with her life!" Drew yelled.

Bayley froze, not sure what she could do. Suddenly, her phone lit up.

"Where are you? I'm coming for you."

-Dean

"Don't, it's too dangerous. I'm safe."

-Bayley

"You know I'm coming in there either way so you might as well tell me where you are."

-Dean

"In the gym, behind the bleachers. Drew is here for Sasha."

-Bayley

"I love you."
     -Dean

Outside, Roman got out of his jeep with Aj and Seth.

"Stay back Sherrif Rose!" A police officer yelled.

"My daughter is in there!" Sherrif Rose yelled.

Roman watched as Mandy's father broke out in tears.

"Are you guys going in?" Roman asked.

"No." An officer told him.

Seth nodded his head in disapproval and made a phone call.

"You shouldn't be calling me." Becky said.

"Have you seen the news?" Seth asked.

"No, I haven't. What's going on?" Becky asked.

"There's a shooter in the school." Seth said.

"Is Bayley inside?" Becky asked.

"Yeah." Seth said.

"I'm on my way." Becky said.

Seth hung up the phone and walked back over to Roman and Aj.

"We have to get you out of here. You need a doctor." Finn said as he picked up Alexa in his arms.

He walked to the doorway and looked around, hoping there was no one in the hall. Finn made his way into the hallway and rushed for the front doors. All the police held up their guns as Finn made his way outside.

"I need help!" Finn yelled as he carried Alexa out.

"Put your guns down!" Roman yelled as he ran towards Finn as he fell on the grass.

"She needs help!" Finn yelled.

Medics ran to help Alexa as Roman helped Finn up. Seth looked over and saw Dean walking casually towards the school. Roman saw the look on Seth's face as Dean walked into the school and knew something was about to go down.

"Is he fucking stupid?" Roman asked.

"Keep an eye on Aj." Seth said as he ran into the school behind Dean.

"Has everyone lost their fucking minds?" Roman asked as he helped Finn back over to where he and Aj where waiting with the police.

"Dean!" Seth yelled.

"What the fuck are you doing? Get out of here!" Dean yelled.

"I know you're not leaving without Bayley and I'm sure as hell not leaving without you." Seth said as he looked into Dean's eyes.

Dean looked at Seth skeptically.

"You don't have a gun, stay behind me." Dean told him.

Seth rolled his eyes and followed behind Dean.

In the gym Bayley was trying to breathe as quietly as possible while Drew paced the gym.

"I found this one in a janitor's closet." A woman said as she lead Mike into the gym at gunpoint.

Bayley looked closer and realized the woman was Sonya Deville.

"I want the girl!" Drew yelled.

"Let him go." Bayley yelled as she walked out from the bleachers.

"Bayley, it's nice to see you." Drew said as he walked towards her.

"Let him go." Bayley said.

"Or what? What are you doing to do about it sweetheart?" Drew asked.

Bayley looked up at Drew at her eyes began to tear up.

Across the hall someone burst into the school news room.

"Andrade?" Sasha asked.

"Come on, let's go." Andrade said.

Carmella and Sasha got up slowly as Andrade lead them into the gym at gun point.

"Found her boss!" Andrade yelled.

Drew turned around to look at Andrade and Bayley kicked the gun out of his hand. When he turned back around she punched him in the face.

"Kill her now!" Drew instructed Andrade.

Andrade pointed the gun at Sasha and just as he pulled the trigger Carmella pushed Sasha out of the way. Bayley watched as Carmella fell to the ground.

"No!" Sasha cried out.

Bayley grabbed Drew's gun from the ground and pointed it at him. Andrade pointed the gun at Sasha on more time in frustration. Before Bayley could even think about what to do, Sonya walked up behind her with a gun.

"I'd put that down if I were you." Sonya said.

Bayley looked at Sasha and slowly lowered her gun. Just as Drew started to take the gun from Bayley, Becky burst into the gym and shot Sonya in the back of the head. Bayley turned around and watched as she shot twice at Drew, hitting him right in the heart. Andrade knew he was next if he didn't act fast.

"One more step and she's dead!" Andrade yelled as Sasha stood there, frozen over a wounded Carmella.

"Becky, please!" Bayley yelled.

Becky stopped in her tracks, realizing that if she made one more move then he would kill Sasha.

"He's going to kill her either way." Becky said.

Bayley jumped when she heard a gunshot. Becky watched as Andrade fell to the floor. Dean walked into the gym and put his gun down.

"Oh, thank god! Bayley yelled as she ran to Sasha and grabbed her in her arms.

Becky looked across the gym at Dean as if they had some kind of understanding. Bayley held Sasha's head as she began to cry.

"She's still breathing!" Bayley Seth yelled as he looked over at Carmella.

He picked her up and ran out of the school and got her into an ambulance.

Dean sat on the bleachers and watched as Bayley continued hugging Sasha.

After the police came in and cleared everything, students started making their way out of the school to meet with their families. When Mandy walked outside Roman ran up and hugged her.

"I'm glad your okay." Roman said as he held her tight.

Mandy let her hold him for a few minutes until her father approached them.

"My baby girl!" Her father said as he wrapped her in his arms.

"I'll call you." Roman said as he walked away.

Carmella and Alexa had both been sent off to the hospital and the coroners went in to get Drew, Sonya, and Andrade.

Bayley and the others were standing off  to the side of the crowd while everyone else talked with the police and family members.

"What the hell is going on?" Bayley asked.

"Those were all Randy's guys.. even Drew before he started working for Becky.

"My mother has to be behind this." Bayley said.

"You don't know that." Aj said.

"Yes, I do. She wants us dead! What don't you get about that?" Bayley asked.

"She's still our mother!" Aj yelled back.

"Maybe we all need to calm down." Roman said.

Bayley let out a sigh and grabbed Sasha's hand.

"Let's all go back to my place for the rest of the day. We can make a day out of it." Roman said.

Everyone made their way to Roman's house and settled down in the living room. Bayley and Sasha were curled up together on one end of the couch with Seth and Aj sat together at the other end. Roman was sitting on the love seat with Dean while Finn and Mike sat together on the floor.

"I really hope Carmella is okay." Sasha said.

"Me too but I have to say I'm glad she took a bullet for you." Bayley said.

Sasha smiled softly and rested her head on Bayley's shoulder.

"I'm sorry I left you.. When I saw the blood on Alexa I panicked." Finn said.

"It's okay. You saved her, that's what matters. If it weren't for you she might not have made it out of there." Mike said.

"You're and ass for going into the school, you know that, right?" Aj asked.

"Yeah, I know." Seth said as he watched  Dean get up and grab a beer from the refrigerator.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Roman walked over and opened the door.

"Mandy?" Roman asked as Aj looked over from her seat.

"I hope it's not weird that I came over, I just-." Mandy tried to say.

"No, you're fine. Come on inside." Roman said.

Mandy walked inside and was surprised to find everyone there.

"Hi guys." Mandy said as she glanced over at Dean, who was taking a sip of his beer in the kitchen.

"Come sit down." Roman said as he walked back over to the loveseat.

Mandy sat down next to Roman and looked over at Seth and Aj.

"You're Bayley's sister, right?" Mandy asked.

"Yep." Aj said uncomfortably.

Seth got up and walked into the kitchen.

"Hey." Seth said as he approached Dean.

"What's up?" Dean asked.

"You know that was some dumb shit you pulled back there." Seth said.

"I wasn't just going to sit back and watch everything on the news. She needed me and I had to be there for her." Dean said quietly.

"Why? Why did you have to be there for her? You said it yourself, she's not yours anymore." Seth said.

"Why do you care anyway?" Dean asked as he walked closer to Seth.

"I just do." Seth said.

"Because I didn't see Roman running into the school after me like an idiot. But you did for some reason.." Dean said.

"You wanna know why?" Seth asked.

Dean looked into Seth's eyes and felt his heart begin to beat faster.

"No, I don't." Dean said before walking away.

Everyone was taken back by another knock at the door.

"I'm sure we don't have anymore friends.. who could that possibly be?" Finn asked as Roman got up and opened the door again.

"Long time no see, big man." James said.

Mike practically jumped up from the floor and rushed to the door.

"James?" Mike asked.

"Becky told me what happened.. I had to make sure you were okay." James said.

Finn watched as Mike hugged James.

"You mean you had to make sure we were okay? Surely you weren't talking about one individual person." Finn said as he got up.

"Finn. It's nice to see you, man." James said.

Finn squinted his eyes as he walked past him.

"I also wanted to check in on my two little sisters!" James said as Aj and Bayley got up and hugged him.

Dean watched as James greeted Bayley and Aj.

"Hello, brother." Dean said.

James smiled and walked over to Dean. Everyone watched as James hugged Dean.

"I didn't know you were back in town. I haven't seen you since Phoenix." James said.

"Phoenix? I thought you were in Vegas?" Bayley asked as Becky came barging into the house.

"I really should have just left that door open." Roman said.

"I see I didn't get invited to the party." Becky said.

Dean looked up at Becky with concern.

"I think we all need to have a little talk." Becky said.
