"Does she know you are still living in you're car?" Seth asked.

"No, and you're not going to tell her. What did you have to talk to me about so badly?" Dean asked.

"Marco knows about you two." Seth told him.

"You told him!" Dean yelled.

"No, he saw the ring." Seth said.

"How could he figure that out from the ring?" Dean asked.

"I still have to figure that part out but I'd be careful, he was pretty angrily when we left. I've never seen him yelled at her before." Seth said.

"Damn." Dean said.

Bayley was at home trying to figure out what happened with her father.

"Maria?" Bayley asked as she searched the house.

"Yes Bonita?" Maria asked.

"Can I ask you something?" Bayley asked.

"Of course." She said.

"Have you seen this ring before?" Bayley asked.

"I don't think I should answer that." Maria said.

"My father acted like he had seen it before.. but Deans father gave it to his mother. I don't understand how he knew.." Bayley said.

"You're mother had that ring long before Dean's mother ever did." Maria said.

"What? I'm confused." Bayley said.

"Sit down." Maria said as they sat at the table.

"What's going on?" Bayley asked.

"When your mother Patricia was your age she had a boyfriend." Maria said.

"Okay.. and?" Bayley asked.

"Patricia was one of those girls that always did what she was told. Her father was in the FBI so he wasn't home a lot." Maria said.

"Grandpa was a cop?" Bayley asked.

"Anyway, this boyfriend of hers.. I believe Nathan was his name. She was the love of his life." Maria said.

"And what about my mother?" Bayley asked.

"Nathan was your mother's first love but she was never going to feel for him what he felt for her." Maria said.

"Why not?" Bayley asked.

"Because she was in love with someone else." Maria said.

"Father?" Bayley asked.

"Not exactly." Maria said.

"Then who?" Bayley asked.

"Nathan had two friends back then.." Maria said.

"Who?" Bayley asked.

"You father and Julian Vargas." Maria said.

"Julian Vargas?" Bayley asked.

"Those three boys and your mother were inseparable. They the best of friends." Maria said.

"I had no idea." Bayley said.

"It seemed to be an innocent group of friends but none of them could have predicted all that would eventually happen." Maria said.

"Are you saying that Julian Vargas gave my mother this ring?" Bayley asked.

"I'm not sure of the details. All I know is that after Nathan and Patricia broke up he stopped hanging out with Marco and Julian." Maria said.

"Really?" Bayley asked.

"After that I saw your mother wearing that ring.." Maria said.

"My mother and Julian Vargas? I find that hard to believe." Bayley said.

"When Julian's mother was brought in by the FBI he took over the Vargas Cartel. It was a conflict of interest to say the least." Maria said.

"So they were engaged?" Bayley asked.

"I'm not sure, no ever knew. A few weeks later your mother was pregnant with you." Maria said.

"No. I don't believe any of this." Bayley said.

Bayley grabbed her car keys and stormed out of the house. She drove furiously across town.

At Joe's, Becky and Sasha met with Roman, Mandy, Mike, and Finn.

"I can see you two have worked things out?" Mike asked.

"It was a stupid fight. We're good now." Sasha said.

"Yeah, we're good." Becky said as she put her arm around Sasha.

"Where are Dean and Bayley?" Finn asked.

"Last I knew Bayley and Seth were hanging out." Sasha said.

"Dean's okay with that?" Mandy asked.

"Why wouldn't he be?" Sasha asked in defense.

"If my best friend had feelings or my girlfriend I wouldn't let them hang out alone." Mandy said.

"Dean trusts Bayley. Without trust a relationship is meaningless." Sasha said.

Becky tried not to make any facial expressions as Sasha looked at her for assurance.

"Isn't that right babe?" Sasha asked.

"Yeah." Becky said.

Bayley pulled up to her father's safe house and stormed inside. He was meeting with a few high ranking members of the cartel.

"We need to talk, now." Bayley said.

"I'm busy." Marco said.

"I'll wait." Bayley told him.

"Excuse me guys." Marco said as he lead Bayley into the other room in frustration.

"Tell me what happened between mom and Julian Vargas." Bayley said.

Marco looked at her with disbelief.

"I don't have time for this." Marco said.

"Then make time." Bayley said.

"Sit down." Marco said.

Bayley took a seat on the staircase as Marco joined her.

"Maria told me about mom being in love with your friend Nathan." Bayley said.

"You're mother was never in love with Nathan." Marco laughed.

"But they dated." Bayley said.

"They did.. but Nathan was going to go off to college and have some kind of office job. That's not what you're mother wanted. She liked danger. She wanted to live life, not just sit on the side lines." Marco said.

"So that's why she broke up with him?" Bayley asked.

"I think so. But the four of us were pretty close. When she finally ended things with Nathan I thought she was ready to be with me." Marco said.

"But she wasn't?" Bayley asked.

"From the moment I first laid eyes on your mother I knew that I loved her. But she was with Nathan. For the longest time I had to just take what I could get and steal those little moments I had with her. What I didn't know was that Julian was doing the same." Marco said.

"You were both in love with her?" Bayley asked.

"Of course we were. But I was the fool in that whole mess. I thought she left Nathan for me.. then I saw her with that ring on her finger and I lost it. The next thing I knew Julian was replacing his mother as head of the Vargas cartel. It was like he was stealing my life. Then my father went on the run and I moved up through the ranks pretty quickly." Marco said.

"So she ended up choosing you?" Bayley asked.

"I loved you mother with everything I had but I was never going to be Julian." Marco said.

"But how did the two of you end up together then?" Bayley asked.

"Julian loved your mother just as much as I did and he knew that being the head of the cartel would put her life in danger. I was on my way to leading the Sonoma cartel but I my identity was much less known than Julian's." Marco said.

"So she was safer with you?" Bayley asked.

"He and I have always had our differences but one thing we agreed on was keeping the girl we loved safe. Your mother though, she made it clear that she would never love me the way she loved him. And as much as that killed me, I had to know that she was safe.. So Julian and I came to an agreement. Patricia would live with me and he would see her as often as he could." Marco said.

"So they were still together?" Bayley asked.

"Eventually life got in the way.. Your mother wanted to be with him but he wasn't going to put her life in danger like that. Long story short, I was there when she needed me and maybe what we had wasn't the same as what she had with him but it was there. When Julian found out he decided to just let her go." Marco said.

"Just like that?" Bayley asked.

"He knew that I could keep her safe. I can't imagine how hard that was for him but it was the right thing to do. She never knew though. When he stopped coming over to see her she didn't know what to think. When we got pregnant with you it was like an escape for her. You gave her something to focus on, to keep her mind of him." Marco said.

Bayley looked at her father as tears began to stream down her face.

"Bonita? Are you okay?" Marco asked.

"I love Dean the way mom loved Julian." Bayley said with a crack in her voice.

"That's what I'm afraid of my dear." Marco said as he comforted her with a hug.

"You can't keep me from him." Bayley said.

"Maybe not, but I'm going to try." Marco said.

"What?" Bayley asked.

"It will be a cold day in hell before I let my daughter run into the arms of a Vargas." Marco said.

"You're not joking?" Bayley asked.

"I told you stay out of the cartels business. Being with him, going behind my back.. if you weren't my daughter you would be dead." Marco said.

Bayley stood up and looked at her father in disbelief. She ran outside and got in her car. Bayley drove off in tears.

"Sir you wanted to see me?" Seth asked as he walked in the back door.

"You knew about my daughter and your friend?" Marco asked.

"I did." Seth said.

Marco smacked him across the face.

"You work for me!" Marco yelled.

Seth checked him mouth for blood as the other men in the room brought their attention to them.

"To make it up to me son you are going to keep my daughter away from him." Marco said.

"I don't understand." Seth said.

"I want you to do whatever it takes to keep them a part. Even if you have to make her fall in love with you. I don't care how you do it, I just don't want them together." Marco said.

"I can't do that sir." Seth said.

"Come on, I see the way you look at her. This is exactly what you want." Marco said.

"That may be true sir but not like this. I am in love with your daughter and she knows that. But I know that she is in love with him. I would never do anything to hurt her." Seth said.

"Like I said, you work for me. You will do what I say!" Marco yelled.

"I will not do it sir. I do work for you but when it comes to Bayley my loyalty will always be with her." Seth said.

"You are awfully brave tonight. Do I have to remind you what happened to James?" Marco asked.

"If you are threatening to kill me sir, go ahead. I'm not going to betray Bayley." Seth said as his eyes began to water.

"You're pathetic you know that?" Marco asked as someone pulled out a gun and hit Seth in the back of the head.

Seth fell to Marco's feet as he began to pass out.
